If only you knew (Camren)

Chapter 60

"I'm sorry" was the last words the doctor said to Lauren before she walked out the door leaving Lauren and Camila in the grey hospital room. Camila was still out cold when the doctor had left even though it had been just over an hour since they got rushed to the hospital and Lauren just stood there unsure of what to do or say next.

Before the ambulance turned up to the two girls Lauren was pacing up and down the corridor of the bus muttering things to herself. Dinah, Ally and Normani still hadn't turned up and she couldn't decide whether this was a good or a bad thing. She needed someone to freak out to yet she wanted to be left alone, but she had to let them know either way. A long couple of minutes later there was a siren heard driving up the road. About time Lauren thought to herself. She ran to the door of the bus and opened it to allow access to the paramedics. After she opened the door she made her way over to where Camila was laying  to see if she had moved but nothing, she hadn't even moved an inch.
The paramedics rushed to the door and moved Camila from the sofa and outside onto the stretcher and basically ignoring Lauren's existence.
"Can I come in the ambulance with her?" Lauren asked the paramedic that was the last out of the door.
"Sure" the man said with a soft smile when he saw the pain behind Lauren's eyes. She ran to the back door before they were slammed shut and sat down just as the ambulance sped off.
As it was turning the corner Ally was waking back towards the bus and managed to see the it going off into the distance. She started to panic and ran to the bus to see if her other two band mates were still there but they were gone. The small girl didn't know what to do but out of pure panic she grabbed her phone out of her pocket and called Dinah
"Ally? What's up?" Dinah said instead of a simple hello.
"I saw an ambulance leaving and now Camila and Lauren are gone and I don't know what to do but I'm totally freaking out and..."
"Ally breathe" Dinah said calmly.
"Me and Mani will be there as soon as we can and we will get someone to pick us up from the bus and they can take us up to the hospital okay?"
"Okay, please hurry" she pleaded and hung up the phone.
"What's happened" Normani asked Dinah who had just put her phone back into her pocket
"We think somethings happened to either Lauren or Camila because Ally has just seem an ambulance speed off" she explained
"Holy shit"
"Yeah my words exactly, lets go to Ally she's freaking out"
Normani nodded in response and both of the girls ran towards the bus as fast as they could.

"Urge why do all the traffic lights have to be on red when we need to fucking be somewhere" Dinah groaned from the back seat of the car.
"Don't worry it's literally right round this corner" the driver informed the 3 girls and with that the hospital came into view.
Once the car stopped they thanked the driver and got out of the car as quick as they could. Neither of them had heard from Lauren or Camila but neither of them minded, their friends health were more important than them knowing what has happened.
Normani asked at the reception desk if they knew what room the girls would be in but the young woman hadn't got either Camila or Lauren's name down on the computer.
"If you leave me with the names of the two people that you are looking for then I will let you know if anything pops up on here" the woman suggested
"Sure thing" Ally agreed and wrote both Camila and Lauren's names down on a sticky note and thanked the woman behind the desk for her help. They sat down and waited for any news about Camila and Lauren butNot hey knew this was going to be one of the longest waits of their life.

"Excuse me" a familiar face spoke to the three girls who had been sat waiting for about 45 minutes already now. It was the young woman that they had spoken to before behind the reception desk.
"The name Camila Cabello has just appeared on my screen and she has been allocated to room 103 and that should be on floor 7"
"Thank you!" Ally 3 girls said in unison and walked over to the lift. No one spoke on their way up to the 7th floor, all 3 of them was still wondering what had actually happened and considering they still hadn't had a call from Lauren made them even more confused and oblivious to the situation. The door to the elevator opened and they walked out but still the silence lingered over them.
"Room 103?" Normani asked finally
"Thwarts right there" Ally pointed. They all looked at each other and took a deep breath before walking towards it. Just as they reached it a doctor walked out and gave them a soft smile and moved out of the way so they could enter the room.
"Lauren" Normani called when they saw the green eyed girl stood there in a little world of her own. She looked up and saw the three girls stood there and it was obvious they wanted some sort of explanation, so she told them what the doctor had just told her
"The radio therapy isn't working like they hoped so chemotherapy is the only option and that means as soon as she is up on her feet she's going back home to Miami for treatment so she can't finish the tour with us"
Ally, Normani and Dinah heard the crack in Laurens voice as she explained this to them and automatically pulled her into a tight hug.
Why is this happening? Lauren thought to herself and let the tears fall.

This is just a quick update so sorry about the lack of detail I guess. I find when I have lots of spare time I don't update as much so currently I'm drowning in about 3 assignments and I'm deciding to write this, yay for procrastination XD
