Chapter 24

Lauren's POV
My heart was literally in my mouth when Sofi walked in and caught me and Camila kissing! Luckily for us Camila came up with something that the younger girl believed so hopefully we have gotten away with that. Sofi followed us older girls up to Camila's bedroom, she jumped on the bed with Camila while I awkwardly stood near the door.
"Lauren! Sit down" Sofi ordered as she patted the side of the bed that was empty. I went and sat down next to the sisters and listened to what Camila had to say.
"What's the secret?" Sofi asked excitedly while eagerly looking between me and Camila.
"Well, it's kinda like a secret hand shake..." Camila started,
Oh god where is this going i thought to myself while Sofi watched Camila as she spoke
"When we do something super super cool we do our secret high five don't we Lauren!" Camila told her sister just as excited as the younger one was. I nodded in agreement but was unsure whether this was going to work or not.
"Can i see it?" Sofi asked us both. I gulped because from the way im thinking about it camilas younger sister is basically asking us to kiss for her which is quite awkward.
"Sure!" Camila agreed and Sofis eyes didn't leave mine and camilas every move.
We kind of made up a 'secret high five' on the spot and once we did that I knew that there was one thing left, a kiss. Camila leaned in and I did the same and we both left a quick peck on each other's lips.
"I love it!" Sofi shouted
"Shhhhh" Camila told the younger one "it's a secret, you can't tell any one at all you promise" and Sofi put her finger to her lips which signalled that she wouldn't tell a soul.
Even if Sofi did spill personally I don't think it would of mattered because today is Christmas Eve and tomorrow we have agreed to come out to the rest of the world, so what if our family's knew a day or so before. So far only the other 3 girls knew and keeping it a secret was getting boring, we wanted to be more open with our relationship.
Today was the only today since we have been on our break that me and camila haven't seen each other and to be perfectly honest it has dragged so much!
When camila is round time seems to go much quicker even though we aren't doing anything. We would just watch TV and eat food but it would be perfect and nothing else would be better than spending quality time with Camila.
I didn't do much for most of the day, I help my mum and taylor make some food for Christmas Day but that's all really. Majority of my day was spent texting Camila.
I was in the middle of a conversation when my mum walked in the room and switched the TV on.
"Who you texting?" She asked me
"Camila, why?" I answered
"Oh just wondering" she replied. I shook it off and continued to send the text to Camila.
"Lauren?" My mum spoke up again
"Yeah?" I asked
"Errm you know what it doesn't matter" she said and picked the TV remote up and changed the channel.
"Mum" I said seriously and put my phone in my pocket
"I'm just being stupid, if doesn't matter" she said again
"Yeah it does, tell me" I prompted. She looked at me and the to the floor but then locked her eyes onto mine.
"Nothing's going on between you and Camila is there?" She asked
"What do you mean?" I responded and tried not to make it too obvious that I was trying to hide something
"Like relationship wise" she said
"What makes you think that?" I quickly asked
"Well you've gotten awfully close recently, and you have been together everyday since you've been off and you're not even putting your phone down for a minute" she explained
"Why would it be bad if we were?" I asked trying to dodge her question
"I just worry about you that's all" she admitted
"There's nothing to be worried about
Mum" i reassured her
"Okay I believe you, so nothing is going on between you girls?" She asked again
"No" I lied and took my phone out my pocket to tell Camila what just happened.
