Chapter 45

Camila's POV

"What do you want to do tonight?" Lauren asked me not long after her mum had left
"I don't know why? Do you wanna do something?" I replied
"Lets go to the movies" She said quickly
"Okay like a date?" I asked curiously
"Yeah okay then sure"
"Then you better ask me properly Jauregui" I grinned
"Will thou Camila Cabello go on a date with thee?" She asked me sarcastically as she got down on one knee.
"Oh I never thought you would ask, I am awfully flattered, of course I will goo n a date with thou" I laughed and pulled my girlfriend back up to her feet pulling her in for a kiss.
"It's my first real date so it best be special" I teased her
"You'll get what you're given babe" she informed me
"I will go and get ready then" I informed her and she nodded in agreement. I started walking up stairs and she began to follow me
"Lauren, I'd like to get changed in private" I chuckled, she didn't reply and just gave me a look then shook her head with a smirk spread across it.
"Fine then" I said. We went into the bedroom and I started getting some clothes out of my closet and Lauren was looking through her bag.
"Fucks sake" She muttered to herself a little while later
"Whats up babe?" I asked her
"I can only find one of my shoes that I was going to wear" She said with a blank expression "The other will be at home"
"Whats wrong with the other shoes you have brought?" I questioned
"It wont go with the outfit I want to wear tonight" She moaned which made me giggle "Well then f-nuts you better go and get that other shoe. I'll meet you at your house in a bit when I am ready, you might as well get ready there, it'll be quicker""Okay but no I will pick you up don't worry" She insisted
"It's only a 20 minute walk"
"It's only a 7 minute drive" She quickly responded
"Okay then miss precise, I expect you to be here at 7:30, and don't be late" I said with a wink and a quick peck on the lips. She laughed and reciprocated the kiss before leaving my house.

I changed from my still damp clothes from our recent little bubble/water fight we had in my kitchen and quickly did my make up so I looked decent.
I looked out of the window to see if I could see Lauren on her way as it was 7:25 but the massive black cloud which was heading straight over my house caught my eye instead. Lets hope it passes is all I could think. I made my way down stairs and just to my luck the rain started coming down. It wasn't even a gradual increase, it just was pouring down not just pouring, but sheets of it, a freakin torrential downpour. I've never actually seen that much rain here in a long time.
I looked out of the front window and saw a distorted image of a car so I guessed that was Lauren, I was about to leave when she had already started knocking at the door.
I quickly opened it to get a massive gust of wind blowing her into me
"Bit wet there?" I asked her
"Hurry up ass hole" She shouted and ran back to the car. Even though it was chucking it down she still opened my door for me and shut it behind me. I saw her run round to the drivers side as I checked the time on my phone. 7:27.
"You're 3 minutes early" I stated to her once she sat down in the drivers seat
"Well I'm sorry miss precise" she mocked me "It's better early than late don't ya think?" She questioned with an eyebrow raised
"Just drive you jerk" I said bluntly but couldn't keep a straight face.
We had been driving for a couple minutes and instead of going straight onto the main road Lauren took a left turn down some back roads
"Where are you going?" I asked
"Don't worry, I think it'll be better going down here than on that main road where loads of cars will be, no one goes down here and to be honest it's quicker. I used to go this way all the time when I was younger" She reassured me
I nodded and turned the radio off.
"Why'd you do that? I like that song" Lauren whined
"I like the sound of the rain when I am in the car don't judge!" I told her
"You're one strange girl Camz" She chuckled
We were driving at only about 25mph and it was pretty much impossible to see out of the window even with the wipers on full. Lauren started to drive slower and the next thing I know is Lauren stops the car
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Well I might not be able to see out this window very well but I'm sure not driving through that!" She said as she looked straight a head. I looked at where she was looking to see the road slowly starting to flood, the little back road dipped slightly and obviously due to this rain it has decided to fill up, and fast.
"There's a house there, I wonder if they would let us just pull into their drive way for a bit" I suggested.
Lauren struck the engine back up and put the car into reverse but the we was stuck...
The back wheels of Lauren's car was spinning in wet mud
"You've gotta be kidding me" I muttered
Lauren looked around "Wait there" She ordered as she jumped out of the car. I saw her run behind the car and shortly she came back again
"Get behind the wheel" She told me
"But I don't have my license yet..."
"Just do it!" she said as I moved into the passenger seat
"I want you to steer into the drive way over there, I will push" and before I got a change to protest she was already at the front of the car pushing the car.
Surprisingly it didn't take her long before she actually got the car moving at a slow but constant speed.
I steered the car into the random persons drive way and sooner or later we was off the road.
"Right now let's go back onto the main road" she said
She struck the car up but this time it wouldn't ever start up. She tried it again, and again but it wouldn't start
"For fucks sake!" Lauren cussed as she hit the wheel hard with her fist
"Calm down don't worry, I'll call my mum and ask her if we can borrow her car" I told her
"Okay" she said as she took a breath
"I'll go and knock on these people and ask if we can leave our car here for a bit till we can drive out and tow it"
She left the car and I called my mum. Thankfully my mum said she will pick us up and then we can drive ourselves up to the mall

"Fucking pricks" Lauren swore as she sat back in the car
"They said we can keep the car here but only till 6am in the morning, I'm so glad they didn't realise who I was though"
"Fucking idiots" I commented
"Mums gonna be here soon anyway so we will be going soon don't worry"
5 minutes of a comfortable silence passed before I spoke
"Was anything said when you went home earlier?" I asked Lauren who was staring out the window
She looked at me and began to speak
"Not much really, mum and dad had gone out shopping so it was just Chris and Tay, they just asked me what happened and I explained it all to them because apparently mum hadn't said anything to them about it" she explained
"Oh right it's good that they know now then"
"Yeah"
I looked across at Laurens lap to see her hand just kinda sat there so I reached over and took it in mine
"Don't worry it's been a good first date so far" I told her with a smile
"Really? Because I don't think so" she mumbled
"As long as I am with you I'm happy, we could be sat in the bottom of the garden for all I care as long as I am on the date with you it's amazing" I said which made her smile
"And I can say the same, I love you camz" she said
"I love you to lolo" I replied and learned in to kiss her.
We broke the kiss due to a car horn which I was guessing was my mum. We got out of the car we was in and ran to the one outside the driveway and hopped into the back.
Maybe now we can get this date going
