Chapter 26

Camila's POV
Christmas morning was going pretty well, we was all having a good time and both me and Sofi got everything we wanted and even a little more.
I had spoken to the girls and wished them a merry Christmas and thanked them for the presents. Me and Lauren had agreed to meet up for half an hour or so once we had got ready and she would be on her way round to mine soon.
Our morning was pretty laid back once we had cleaned all the ripped paper up. I was getting thirsty from being on my feet most of the morning so I went to the kitchen to get a glass of water before I was going to get ready to meet Lauren for a little while.
As I walked through the hallways I felt my head go really light but this was usual so I ignored it.
I got my glass and filled it then took a big gulp, maybe a little too much because I chocked on the liquid and started spluttering, I couldn't catch my breath. I held onto the kitchen work top and tried to get my breath back but I couldn't, the consistent coughing wasn't allowing me to breathe correctly.
I was getting really light headed now and my vision went blurry as I slid down the kitchen cupboard and landed on the floor still breathless.
I heard a faint knock at the door and saw Lauren stood behind the glass. My parents obviously hadn't heard all of the commotion that I was creating and went straight to the door. From were Lauren was stood she was able to see straight into the kitchen and were I was laid. I slightly saw the front door open and heard Lauren shout my name.
I was in and out of consciousness then, being unable to breath was making my head go dizzy. I heard footsteps running towards me and someone scooped my limp body up and held me close to them.
"Camila, are you okay? Speak to me" I heard Lauren say but that's all I heard before everything went black.

Lauren's POV
Camila's mum rang the ambulance, her dad tried to keep Sofi calm because she was crying, and I tried to get Camila to talk to me. I checked her pulse and it was still going but her breathing as very shallow and I was starting to get very concerned.
The ambulance soon came but I had to follow in the car. I have my mum a quick ring and she told me that she would meet me there.
Once I was in the hospital I asked the lady at the desk were camila was taken, she directed me to ward 12 on the very top floor. I ran to the elevator and waited for it to come down. I changed my mind and decided to take the stairs because by the time the lift had actually got to me I would have ran up the stairs at least twice.
I quickly ran up the stairs and got to the top floor in a matter of less than a minute. I saw Camila's parents and Sofi sat on some chairs outside a room so I made my way over to them.
"Is she okay?" I asked them and that's when the tears started flowing. I tried my hardest not to cry but it's hit me. My girlfriend is in hospital.
"Don't worry Lauren she's okay" Camila's dad reassured me
"She just chocked on her drink that's all, she lost her breath and then passed out because of the lack of oxygen getting to her head. It's not a lot to worry about, the doctors say she is fine, in fact they said we can see her in a bit" he said as Sofi hugged me tight.
The tears wouldn't stoop and I felt like such a wimp but I could stop. Once Sofi let go Sinu gave me a much needed hug.
"Itll be okay Lauren" she said soothingly
"Why camila? She doesn't deserve to have cancer, she's too precious! It should be me not camila" I sobbed into her shoulder.
"Me and Sofi are going to get a drink" Camila's dad told us and left me and Sinu alone
"Shhh Lauren it's okay, she can get though it, this had nothing to do with the cancer so I wouldn't worry too much" she told me as she pulled away from the hug, she wiped my tears off my cheeks and gave me a slight smile
"I love her" i muttered as I looked deeply into her eyes
"She loves you too" Camila's mum told me
"If I tell you something you promise not to get mad or upset?" I asked
I decided it's best to tell Our parents before we told the fans, and because of today they won't be finding out anyway.
"Okay I promise" she promised
"Well me and Camila... We are ermm..." I couldn't get the words out of my mouth
"You and camila are dating" Sinu finished. I looked up at her, I felt shocked as to what she just said. How did she know?!
"How do you know?" I asked her
"I don't, I just took a guess, you two have been pretty close recently, and Sofi did show me a 'secret handshake' you taught her" she said and raised one eyebrow. I awkwardly laughed and felt my cheeks blushing
"Don't worry, I accept it, you Lauren are better than any boy out there. You are perfect for Camila and I 100% trust you to love her with all of your heart. I know you'll never hurt her intentionally" Sinu explained
"Thank you" was all I could say
"You're better than that austin, I didn't like him one bit" she whispered to me
"Join the club, I didn't either" I chuckled.
"Excuse me mam, you are able to see Camila now, she is waking" a young man told us
"Thank you" she said to him
"You can see her first, I will wait
For Sofi and her dad"
I nodded and thanked her once again before going in the room to see Camila. She wasn't awake fully, but I saw her eyes fluttering slightly.
I peered over her and gulped as I saw tubes going into her nose.
"Camila, it's me... Lauren"
