If only you knew (Camren)

Chapter 67

"I can't do this any more" Lauren said down her phone to her girlfriend. It was now 2 weeks till the tour ended but she was starting to doubt her strength.
"What do you mean you can't do this any more?" Camila asked
"This! I need to see you, feel you, actually talk to you in person and not on a screen where you're all pixels!" She shouted sounding stressed. Camila took a sigh of relief because she thought Lauren was meaning that she couldn't deal with the relationship any more.
"Look Lauren I know it's hard but there is only 2 weeks left! Before you know it we will be by each other's side again better than ever"
"That's easier said than done" she mumbled
"I can't sleep at night, it sound pathetic but I honestly can't, I don't know whether it's to do with the fact you're so far away or the fact that anything could happen and I won't be there"
"Nothing is going to happen Lauren"
"We said that before but then that all happened with Taylor and urgh I just feel lost and frustrated which isn't a good mix because then I get angry" she admitted
"Lauren just think of the positives, you'll be back in 2 weeks, keep counting down and soon you'll be on the plane home"
"Can't I just get the plane home now" she sighed with frustration
"No. No you can't" Her girlfriend said sternly.
There was a silence on both ends of the phone, no one spoke but it wasn't awkward.
Camila put Lauren on speaker phone and opened up her texts

To: Dinah
Hey can you do me a favour, make sure Lauren doesn't sit by herself thinking, she keeps saying she wants to come home and I don't want her to quit the tour early.
Luckily for Camila, Dinah replied instantly
From Dinah:
Sure thing! I'll go find her now

Camila and Lauren sat in silence till lauren broke it "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get all angry, I'll be okay" she said, but Camila wasn't convinced. The tone of her voice made her feel like she was trying to convince herself that she's going to be okay more than she was trying to convince her girlfriend.
"I know you will" she agreed just to keep the peace.
Sooner or later Camila heard Dinah on the other end of the phone saying something to Lauren. Thank god, she thought to herself
"Hey Camz, I'm gonna have to go, the girls wanna go to the movies and want me to go with them"
"Okay sure! Have fun, I'll talk to you later" her girlfriend replied.
"See you soon, I love you"
"I love you too"
Lauren hung up the phone after she heard those 4 words come from Camila's mouth, no matter how she's feeling those words always make her feel better. Always. She could do this, two weeks isn't too long, it's going to be hard knowing anything could happen but she needed to do this for the girls and the fans. Even though they would all understand because of the situation Lauren couldn't help but feel selfish if she quit the tour early, that would mean the other girls would have to finish it early too because there's no way they would be able to do it as a 3.
"I can do this" she kept telling herself, and she was right.
