Chapter 33

Camila's POV
So it's been 2 frickin days and Lauren hasn't replied to any of my messages or calls. I know she went home the other day to look after her mum but that's no excuse in my opinion, i would of called her if I knew I wasn't going to be able to talk for a while letting her know. I literally have mixed emotions right now, I don't know what to feel. Am I sad or angry, a bit of both maybe.
I walked downstairs to meet my mum in the kitchen
"Hows Lauren?" She asked
"I don't know" I replied bluntly
"What's happened Hun?" She said softly
"She's not spoke to me since she left the other night and I don't know why. She hasn't returned any of my calls or texts" I explained trying to hold back a tear from shedding
"Im sorry camila, im sure she's fine, she'll be looking after her mum like the good girl she is. I doubt she means and harm by it" she tried to tell me
"I guess you're right I suppose" I agreed
"Why don't you go round and see her? Maybe she'll be able to come round for a bit if she's free"
"Yeah maybe I will" i said and left the kitchen and went back to my bedroom to get a change of clothes.
Once I was ready i grabbed the essentials and made my way to Lauren's house.
On the way I saw a young girl outside her house selling something. I thought it would be the usually lemonade but once I got a better look I saw that it was small bouquets of flowers. I saw 3 different colours flowers tied up into little bouquets and they looked so pretty.
"They're only $1" the little girl said to me, she must have only been Sofi's age and I could resist
"I'll take one then please" I said with a smile. I stuck my hand into my pocket and pulled out $1. The little girl took it happily and gave me a bunch of flowers. I said thank you to her
"I love you're music by the way" she said as I walked away.
I turned around and looked at her and gave her a bigger smile
"Here" I said to her as I handed her the other $5 I had in my pocket.
"You deserve more than $1" I said to her. She threw her arms around me said a polite thank you.
We exchanged our goodbyes and I made my way to Lauren's house which was only another 5 minutes away.

I walked up onto Lauren porch and knocked on the door. After a couple seconds taylor answered
"Hey camila!" She said a little to excited
"Hey taylor, is Lauren there?" I asked
"Yeah.. LAUREN!" She shouted
"What?" I heard a faint voice shout from upstairs
"The door!" She shouted again
There was some foot steps upstairs before I saw her feet walking down the stairs.
For some reason I felt really nervous and I had no clue why. Taylor walked away as Lauren walked towards me
"Hey" I said quietly
"Hey" she replied, silence
"Erm I bought you these, some cute girl was selling them and I thought of you" I told her and handed her the flowers
"Thanks" was all she said. I sighed and looked at the floor, then Lauren stepped outside and shut the door behind her. She sat down On the step and took a deep breath
"You might want to sit down" She told me. I sat next to her and tried to take her hand in mine but she pulled away like I was some crazy person.
"Lo, what's going on?" I asked and started to get a little worried. Again silence
"Lauren" I said more firmly
"We need to end this okay" she spat out
This time I was the one who was silent
"Im sorry" she said and her voice cracked. She stood up and ran back in her house leaving me all alone on the front of her porch.
I didn't understand what just happened so i walked home. I walked out of the gate and let the tears roll down my face. What just happened?
