Chapter 37

Lauren's POV
"Hey dinah what's up?" I responded to dinah after she had been trying to call me for like the 5th time today. I know for a fact she knows about me and camila now, there's no way camz didn't tell anyone and the fact that dinah tweeted the whole fandom kinda gives it away a little.
"Not much really, how are you?" She asked me
"I'm good thanks" I lied
"Oh right, ermm" was all she said before I interrupted her
"Dinah what do you really want?" And that left a little of an awkward silence
"What makes you think I want something?" She hesitated
"I'm guessing you have spoken to camila and that's what has made you want to talk to me, to find answers" I guessed
"Wow..." She said "why are you so god damn smart" she chuckled but I stayed silent
"Lauren I'm sorry" she said
"It's not your fault, I've made a mistake and I regret it all, I don't know what to do dinah" I said and I felt the tears run down my cheeks
"Ayy, don't cry, I'm sure you can sort this, you love her and she loves you" she tried to explain
"Yeah that's the problem" I sobbed
"Why do you mean?" She questioned
"It's my mum, she doesn't approve, she said it's going to ruin everything and that if I don't end it she will end it herself" I explained to my friend
"Lauren right, you go over to your mum and tell her that you love camila, you look her in the eye and say it right to her face. Make her know you mean it, she can't do this, I can't see two of my closest friends crying because they can't be with each other!" She told me with a stern tone to her voice
"I tried.."
"Well try harder! I know for a fact you would say the same to me if I was in your situation, you have to do what your heart wants and that's getting camila back" she stated
I knew she was right, I had to stick up for myself. I loved camila and my mum was being so out of order!
"You're right, but what if my mum does something?" I ask
"What's the worst she will do? Kick you out? We're on tour most of the time and when we're not in sure camila's mum could adopt you for a few days" she suggested
"Yeah I guess so" I mumbled as I dried the rest of my tears up
"Thank you dinah, I wasn't going to say anything to anyone, I'm glad you called" I thanked her
"No problem, and that's what I'm here for isn't it, I'd be a bit of a shit friend if not" she told me
"Ahah yeah that's true, anyways I better be going, I have something to be doing" I said a took a deep breath
"Okay then, good luck!" Mane said and hung up.
Well I guess I have some sticking up for my self to be doing. I'm going to get the love of my life back, and this time nothing is going to stop me
