If only you knew (Camren)

Chapter 61

Lauren and the other girls had been with Camila for at least half of the day and after about 4 hours of being at Camila's side she eventually woke up.
Her eyespots fluttered open slowly as she squinted at the bright light that entered her brown eye, the white room making it it much more harder for her to open them.
Ally saw the younger girls eyes starting to open and she stood up to get a closer view of her.
Immediately the other girls also stood up and Camila's eyes were now fully opened.
"Camz?" Lauren spoke but only for a small hum in response
"Hey Mila? You okay?" Dinah then asked
"Mmhh" she mumbled as she rubbed her eyes gently. It took her a moment or two before she realised where she was and slowly tried to sit up. Lauren helped her so that's she was sat upright and sat on the edge of the bed
"Are you feeling okay?" She asked
"Yeah I'm great, but what happened to me, I can't really remember" Camila questioned and rubbed her head. Lauren looked down sadly and she knew she must tell her the truth about what had happened.
"Well me and you, we kind had a little disagreement about things and then when you got up out of the bunk your legs just went weak and they gave way, then you passed out and now you have only just woken up"
"Woah, what did the doctors say?" She asked.
The girls looked at each other all debating on whether to tell her or wait for the doctor to tell her.
"Do you want to hear it from us or from the doctor?" Normani asked the girl sat in the hospital bed
"From you guys" she quickly says
"Okay, can someone else explain?" Lauren asked and dinah nodded
"Well the doctor told us that the radiotherapy isn't working, you will need to have some chemo but the only way you can have that is if you go back home, they're making you finish the tour now"
"I can still do the concert tonight though right? I can do them till I leave to go home surely"
"Sorry Mila but you can't, you have to get the first flight home after you're a bit stronger so the you can start your chemo"
"That's not fair!" She shouted which attracted the attention of the doctors
"Is everything okay in here?" The doctor asked
"No it's not! Why can't I do a couple more shows, I feel fine now. Please let me do tonight's or tomorrow's"
"I'm afraid you can't Camilla, it's not good for your health and.."
"Firstly, It's CamEEla, and secondly you don't know how well I feel right now, it fine so let me go"
"Camz come on just listen to the doctor"
"No! It's just not fair, I knew I would be treated differently because I have this stupid fucking illness" she sighed and slumped back onto her bed and folded her arms angrily. The doctor shook his head and finished what he was saying
"You will be discharged in a couple of days when we feel that you have gotten a bit stronger and will be sent straight back to your home to start your treatment"
After he finished he walked out before she could protest
"Fuck this" camila muttered
"I won't do tonight's concert if you don't want me to, I can stay with you" Lauren offered
"No, you go, I'll be okay" she said sadly "you can't do a concert with just the 3 of you anyway"
"That's true, but all 4 of us could stay with you" dinah then suggested
"No one is missing this concert okay. Not even me" she said with a smirk
"What do you mean?"
"I know you're gonna get and talk me out of this but I'm not staying in here all night when I should be with you guys performing, I'm gonna find a way to get out of here with or without your help"
"I'll help" Lauren agreed which caused a smile to spread across Camila's face and a questioning look on the others.
"Sure, I mean like you said you shouldn't be treated differently"
"I'll help too" dinah then said
"I guess I will" Normani agreed
"I'm in" ally said finally
Camila looked at them all with surprised eyes
"You would do that for me?" She asked
"Yeah, you need to be a bit more of a rebel anyways" dinah laughed. They other girls agreed with dinah and they all moved closer to Camila's bed go try and think of a way to get Camila out of the hospital in time for the concert tonight. They knew it was risky trying to get out there and there was also the risk of Camila passing out again but if she wanted to be treated normally then this is the only thing they could do to keep her happy.
