Chapter 34

Monday: 6 am
Lexie's pov
I woke up with a burning feeling in my throat and automatically got out of the bed and tried to run to the bathroom but my balance was still off and I ended up throwing up on the floor and not even a second later the lights were turned on, the boys woke up and my brother was holding my hair back and helping me up to the bathroom in case I needed to throw up again. My head was pounding, I was sweaty and overall I felt like shit.

Griffin: Jaden check her temperature (hands her the thermometer)
Jaden: okay let me just brush her teeth first (looks at her) are you done throwing up baby
(Lexie just nods her head and Jaden sits her back up the counter and since her balance is still off griffin helps and once her teeth are brushed Jaden sticks the thermometer in her mouth and a minute later it beeps)
Jaden: 105.3
Griffin: shit okay we need to put her in the bath now and wait for her temperature to go down a bit and then take her to the hospital
Lexie: n n no I I d don't w want too
Kio: well next time don't sneak out to a club and drink how about that
Jaden: lex I know your in a t shirt and shorts so I am going to let you stay in that and give you a change of clothes for after okay
Lexie: f fine b but p p please n no h hospital
Josh: I am sorry baby but you have to we have to make sure that whatever was in your drink isn't going to cause a seizure or something
Lexie: nooo
(Jaden sighs and turns the water on, picks her up and sits her down)
Lexie: it's cold (whines)
Griffin: you have a fever baby we have to have it cold
Lexie: ugh
Ten minutes later
Lexie: can I get out now...
griffin: let's check your temperature again (he sticks the thermometer in her mouth and it beeps) 103.2 (sighs) it's good enough for now
Jaden: okay I am gonna get you a change of clothes (walks out of the bathroom and opens her suitcase)
Josh: I'll get dressed and go with you
Jaden: okay can you call an Uber to I don't want to have to bother the limo driver
Josh: yeah plus we don't know how far he is an Uber will probably be quicker (pulls out his phone)
Kio: I'll tell the other boys when they wake up unless your back by then
Jaden: depends on how busy the ER is I am also gonna bring her pacifier and stuffed animal (grabs it and puts it in a bag)
Josh: we can't put her in little space there she'll freak out even more
Jaden: you don't think they'll soothe her?
Josh: no Lexie hates doctors and I can only imagine little Lexie would hate them even more
Jaden: good point I'll just bring the stress ball then
Josh: that sounds better
Lexie's pov
Jaden brought me the change of clothes and griffin dried me with the towel and then held it up so I could change but had his head turned away. I quickly slid on my underwear even though I could barely hold myself up and was stumbling but I managed and then I just sat on the toilet to put on my bra and t shirt in case I got another fever in the car or something and then put on the sweats he gave me because my shorts weren't comfortable enough and my PJ shorts were "too short" according to Jaden. Once I was dressed Jaden picked me up again and josh said the Uber was here so we said bye to griffin and Kio who asked to keep them posted and walked down to the lobby where it was pretty much a ghost town except for this one family that was checking in probably coming from a road trip or something. We got in the Uber and I laid my head on Jaden's shoulder and closed my eyes because I was still tired.

Thirty five minutes later
Josh: do you want me to carry her in?
Jaden: yeah I don't want to wake her up yet
Josh: okay (gets out of his side of the car and goes to Jaden and picks up Lexie)
Lexie: hmm (opens her eyes)
Josh: shh it's okay go back to sleep baby we'll wake you up when the doctor sees you
Lexie: okay (snuggles into Josh's chest)
(Jaden and josh walk into the hospital and Jaden walks up to the lady at the front desk)
Jaden: hi my sister went to a party earlier today and we think someone put something in her drink can we get a doctor as soon as possible
Lady: yeah not a problem I just need you to sign this paper work and a doctor will see you when he can
Jaden: thank you (grabs the clipboard with paper work and sits down)
Josh: let's try and not make it a habit to be in the hospital with Lexie unless it's for a check up
Jaden: don't tell me that, tell her
Josh: no but for real you were right to be worried tonight, and we should have listened to griffin and brought her sooner
Jaden: (sighs) yeah I know but at least we are here now and she didn't have a fever then so we didn't think anything of it
Josh: yeah I guess
(Jaden finishes filling out the paperwork and hands it back to the lady and fifteen minutes later the nurse calls them in)
Nurse: okay so what seems to be the problem?
Jaden: we think someone drugged my sister at a party
Nurse: okay what are symptoms?
Jaden: throwing up, fever, she said her vision was a little blurry earlier but it became clear again and she fell asleep so we thought it was just you know from drinking too much or whatever but then she threw up in the middle of the night so we brought her
Nurse: hmm okay well she's fifteen right?
Jaden: yeah she snuck out to a party you know typical teenager things
Nurse: (lightly laughs) I have three of them I know how hard it can be, it says on the paper work your her legal guardian?
Jaden: yeah I am nineteen and my parents neglected her so I took custody over her
Nurse: okay I am just gonna take a quick look at her and then when the doctor comes he'll run some tests
Jaden: okay thank you
Josh: (lightly shakes Lexie) baby you got to wake up now the nurse is going to check you
Lexie: nooo (snuggles deeper into Josh's chest)
Josh: come on lex I need you to get up, you can stay on my lap if you want but at least sit up
Lexie: okay... (sits up)
Lexie's pov
The nurse checked my lungs and asked me to breathe in deep, then she checked me ears and mouth, and blood pressure which was okay for once and last my temperature which had gone down to a 102.5 but my stomach still hurt. After she was done checking me I laid on Josh's chest again and closed my eyes because my head was still pounding and I felt nauseous again. the next time I woke up it was Jaden who was lightly shaking me be because the doctor was here and I was too exhausted to fight back so I just let him run whatever tests he needed to do.

Doctor: okay so I don't see anything too concerning from a drug and her vision seems to be better, the only thing I will say is she is severely dehydrated and my guess is because of the amount of alcohol that she consumed, not only is she fifteen but she's small for her age so those two things are never good, I am going to hook her up to an IV and check on you in about an hour okay?
Jaden: okay thank you doctor
Lexie: I d d don't w want a n n needle in mr s s skin
Jaden: I know baby but they have to okay just look away if you want or keep talking to us
Lexie: I want to go to the hotel (whines)
Josh: hey you know what I think will help you calm down
Lexie: what?
Josh: music here's your phone and headphones and just put whatever song you want and close your eyes okay
Lexie: ugh okay...
Josh's pov
I handed Lexie her stuff and she closed her eyes just as the doctor was coming in with the IV and she opened them again when she heard the door and she looked at the needle and I could tell she wanted to fight but didn't have the energy too.

Jaden: is it okay if I get on the bed with her?
Doctor: if she's more comfortable then go ahead
(Jaden scoots Lexie a little bit so he has space to slide in and when he's in he pulls her to his chest and the doctor grabs her arm and starts putting the IV in and Lexie starts crying)
Jaden: shh shh it's okay baby girl he's done look it's in (strokes her hair)
(Lexie looks at her arm and sees the needle in her arm and cries again)
Lexie: I j j just w want to g go to the h hotel
Jaden: I know we can go home soon just close your eyes and go back to sleep and we'll wake you up when the IV's done
Lexie: o o okay b but w will y you s stay I in b bed w with m me
Jaden: of course princess
(Lexie closes her eyes and Jaden looks across to see josh dozing off in the chair and he pulls out his phone to see a text from griffin)

Griffin: how is she?
Jaden: she's okay the alcohol dehydrated her so they put an IV in and we can leave in an hour
Griffin: that's good I say tomorrow we just chill at the hotel we are all gonna be tired anyway
Jaden: yeah that sounds like the best option josh is already sleeping in the chair 😂
Griffin: lol and how are you holding up?
Jaden: exhausted but I'll crash at the hotel
Griffin: okay I am gonna try and get some sleep you have the key card right?
Jaden: yeah
Griffin: alright see you bro
Jaden: get some sleep

Jaden's pov
The last hour went by painfully slow so I just went on my phone and scrolled through that catching up on insta, Twitter and tik tok until the IV bag was empty and the doctor came back to check on it. He removed the needle from Lexie who whimpered but didn't wake up and the doctor said we could leave now, so I woke up josh who got the Uber again while I carried Lexie in my arms again and placed her on my lap in the car.

Josh: what time is it now? (Mumbles)
Jaden: you just had your phone out
Josh: yeah but I didn't check the time I literally just went to the Uber and ordered that's it
Jaden: well it's now eight thirty (looks at his phone)
Josh: ugh I am so tired
Jaden: I know me too we'll crash at the hotel
Josh: okay
Jaden's pov
Another thirty five minutes went by in the car and when we got to the hotel I was absolutely exhausted, I carried Lexie back up to the room and placed her in the middle of us and immediately closed my eyes along with josh who knocked out as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Lexie's pov
I opened my eyes and felt a lot better then I did before probably because I was now hydrated which also took away the usual hangover. I looked at the boys and saw they were all still sleeping and I don't blame them I really fucked up last night and I know that which also means I am probably in huge trouble after the boys wake up. I got off the bed and looked around the room for my purse and found it on the little table and grabbed my phone and saw multiple texts from the group chat Ariana created.

Silver: what happened last night you disappeared!
Lexie: sorry guys I wasn't feeling well and went back to the hotel
Beck: why didn't you tell us we thought you got kidnapped!!
Jenny: yeah we were about to go to the police if you hadn't responded another hour
Lexie: thanks for the concern and I didn't tell anyone because I couldn't find anyone
Leo: at least text the group chat next time unless you want to give us a heart attack 🙄
Lexie: I am sorry for scaring you guys
Grace: at least your okay that's what matters
Sarah: are we doing anything today?
Lexie: I don't know I am still feeling kind of sick so I'll pass

Lexie's pov
I put my phone down and laid back in bed and turned the tv on to low and went to Netflix and started the new season of Kobra Kai and watched it until the boys woke up which was two episodes later.

Josh: (opens his eyes) what time is it?
Lexie: one thirty
Josh: damn it's late
Lexie: well you guys hardly got any sleep so...
Jaden: (opens his eyes) how are you feeling?
Lexie: I am okay...
(Griffin and Kio wake up)
Kio: good because your in huge trouble after last night

Josh: (groans) I am coming (gets off the bed and opens the door to see the other boys and girls)
Bryce: is she awake?
Josh: hmm come in
(Bryce walks into the room with the others and looks at Lexie)
Bryce: do you have any idea how much of a dangerous situation you put yourself in last night!?!? What an absolutely stupid thing to do
Lexie: you've done stupid shit before so why can't I?
Anthony: because anything could have happened last night do you not get that? Not to mention the fact that you scared us half to death when you didn't answer any of us!
Blake: don't ever do anything like that ever again!
Noah: and next time if we so much as text you better answer!
Jaden: okay guys I think she gets it
Bryce: how are you not more pissed off she ended up in the hospital because of her stupid actions!
Lexie: I get it please stop yelling at me okay I am sorry
Jaden: first of all Bryce I am pissed but you also weren't the one at the hospital till eight thirty in the morning we all had a long stressful night and that it why I am proposing a different punishment
Lexie: wait what? I didn't know about this
Jaden: I know you didn't because I just thought of it since I realized how much stress and nerves your body was in last night I have decided your going to be little the rest of the day
Lexie: what the hell no I am not I'd rather take the spanking
Jaden: too bad unless you want the spanking and being little I suggest you to not fight me on it
Lexie: but Jaden I don't want to be little the whole day!!!
Jaden: I don't really care what you want at this point because clearly what you want isn't always in your best interest so i am taking the phone away for the day and ordering food
Lexie: your not taking my phone
Jaden: yes I am now hand it to me
Lexie: no
Quinton: lex I highly advise you to listen he's actually letting you off easy
Lexie: no he isn't he's making me be little the whole day a spanking doesn't last a whole day
Jaden: no but I can use the belt and you won't be able to sit the rest of the day how about that
Lexie: I'd rather that and be able to keep my phone
Jaden: your getting the phone taken away regardless it's up to you which way you want to do it
Lexie: hmm let me think whichever way you pick your still not getting my phone
(Done with the conversation josh walks over to Lexie and takes her phone out of her pocket and puts it in his)
Lexie: give me back my phone!!
Josh: no you heard Jaden your not getting it the rest of the day and if you keep it up you won't get it tomorrow either
(Lexie crosses her arms and glares at josh while Jaden looks over the room service menu)
Jaden: what do you want to eat?
Lexie: nothing
Jaden: pick or I am picking for you
Lexie: the air
(Jaden rolls his eyes and dials the room service number)
Jaden: hi can I get a Mac and cheese and four cheese burgers with fries and do you guys want anything? (Looks at the rest of the group)
Them: no thank you
Blake's pov
While Jaden was ordering the food I went to his bag and took out some things to get Lexie into little space. Josh says the bottle usually works but she's about to eat so that's not the best idea, the pacifier is supposed to put her to sleep oh wait here are some barbies she could play with those. I took out a few along with some outfits that were there and placed them on the carpet then grabbed lex and sat her down next to them.

Lexie's pov
I had the barbies in front of me and I picked up thinking to myself okay the boys want me to be little so how about I make this the worst day for them. I had the Barbie in my hand and when Blake turned around to talk to Amelie I threw it and it hit the back of his head.

Lexie's pov
Yeah that's kind of point Blake I thought to myself then I grabbed another Barbie and looked over at Quinton who was talking to Cynthia and I figured I don't really like Cynthia all that much so.. I picked up the Barbie and threw it again and hit my target!

Cynthia: ow! Quinton she's being a little brat tell her no
Quinton: Lexie didn't Blake just tell you to stop throwing toys?
(Lexie sticks her tongue out at them and grabs a Barbie and hits Quinton in the forehead)
Quinton: alright that's it your going in time out (walks over to pick her up)
Lexie: put me down meanie!! (Hits his arm)
Quinton: stop it Lexie your gonna stay in the corner for five minutes and I want you to apologize to me, cyn and Blake for throwing barbies
Lexie: no! (Stomps her foot)
Jaden: Lexie Marie knock it off!!
Lexie: no! (Sticks her tongue out at him)
Jaden: Lexie do not make me go over there because if I do I won't hesitate to pull you over my knee understand!
(Lexie sighs and turns around in the corner)
Ten minutes later
(Quinton walks over to Lexie and gets get to face him)
Quinton: I put you in time out because you threw toys at us and that's not okay and I gave you and extra five for disrespecting Jaden now go say sorry
(Lexie glares at Quinton but walks over to them and says sorry and she colors with crayons until the food comes)
Josh: Lexie food is here
Lexie: I don't want to eat (whines)
Josh: I don't remember asking, I am telling you your going to eat end of discussion
Lexie's pov
Josh placed the bowl in front of me.. is he stupid or is he stupid I decided to this whole little thing to the next level so I took the fork out of the bowl and then tilted the bowl so the Mac and cheese fell on the table and a little on the floor.

Jaden: Lexie Marie hossler that is it you earned yourself a spanking!! (Walks over to her, picks her up and walks to the bed sits down and pulls her over his knee and starts)

Lexie: yes bubba (cries)
(Jaden wipes her tears and together they pick up the Mac and cheese then eats his cheeseburger while griffin orders another bowl and Lexie plays with Clifford and tabby until the food comes)
Jaden: Lexie food is here and this time it came with fries sit down
Lexie: bubba feed me
Jaden: okay that's fine (sits down in front of her)
Lexie's pov
Bubba fed me my Mac and cheese and I dipped the fries in ketchup and ate a few of those after I was done bubba told me he was proud of me and I went to play with Dixie and Addison until I looked outside and saw the pool!

Josh: you want to go to the pool?
Lexie: yeah!! (Claps her hands)
Jaden: will one you girls help her change.. I am not exactly sure what mental age she is right now

(Lexie walks into the bathroom and puts on her bikini but needs help tying the top)

Addison: okay (ties the top)

Kio: okay well we all have swim shorts on so let's go
Lexie's pov
Kiki carried me down to the pool and put me inside while everyone else went to look for chairs. I was swimming in the shallow since bubba said no deep end and I don't want to get in trouble again so I stay in the shallow just playing in the water when Cyn came up to me.

Lexie: I sorry
Cynthia: (scoffs) can you talk normally instead of such a freak I mean what fifteen year old acts like such a baby
Lexie: (looks at her confused) I no fifteen I five
Cynthia: oh my gosh what did I just say!? Talk like a normal human being for gods sake get over the pathetic baby act (slaps her across the face) and don't even think about telling anyone about this conversation understand!
(Lexie has tears in her eyes but nods and Cynthia walks away while Lexie sits on a shallow step by a tree and starts crying)
Jaden's pov
Josh and I were tanning on the chairs when I looked around and noticed Lexie wasn't in the shallow area so I got up and thought maybe she went to the deep end or something.

Jaden: I'll be right back I am gonna go check on lex
Josh: okay do you want me to order any drinks?
Jaden: just a coke
Josh: okay
(Jaden starts walking to the pool and spots Lexie sitting on a shallow step that was hidden by a tree so he gets in the water and walks over to her and sees her cheek is red with a hand print and she had tear stains on her cheeks too)
Jaden: baby who hurt you?
Lexie: (shakes her head) nobody
Jaden: baby your cheek is all red please tell me
Lexie: I can't...
Jaden: why not?
Lexie: they said not to...
Jaden: so it was more than one person?
Lexie: no one person only
Jaden: then tell me who it was, no one is ever supposed to lay a hand on you like that
Lexie: I can't tell...

(Lexie plays with Josh's hair while Jaden walks around trying to find Cynthia and eventually find her making out with Quinton in the jacuzzi)
Jaden: Cynthia I am going to say this one time and one time only Don't you ever lay a hand on my sister again! I don't care if your Quinton's girlfriend you come near my sister again and I'll make sure you never step foot in the sway house again
Quinton: wait what is he talking about (looks at Cynthia)
Cynthia: so what I may or may not have slapped her and of course the brat told (rolls her eyes)
Quinton: you know what Cynthia we are done find another hotel room to stay in
Cynthia: are seriously breaking up with me because of some freak who can't even act her own age!!
(Amelie over hears the conversation and turns around)
Amelie: what did you just say?
Cynthia: you heard me
Amelie: yeah I did so better go somewhere before I tell the rest of the girls, Quinton might not be able to hit a girl but trust me I will so leave
Cynthia: whatever fuck all of you (gets out of the jacuzzi and walks away)
Quinton: (looks at Jaden) is she okay?
Jaden: yeah but honestly it's been a long day and after yesterday I am just gonna chill in the room now with josh and lex
Quinton: okay and I am sorry about Cynthia
Jaden: it's okay no worries you weren't the one that touched her
Quinton: I know
Jaden: I'll catch up with you later bro (daps him up and walks over to josh and pecks him on the lips) can we go up to the room and cuddle and watch a movie with the baby
Josh: that sounds like a great idea (kisses him) come on baby girl let's go to the room
Lexie's pov
Josh picked me up and carried me up to the room and gave me pj's to change into after taking off my wet bathing suit and drying myself with the towel. I put on the pink onesie pajamas and crawled in the middle of Joshy and bubba who was on Disney plus.

(Josh passes them to her and she lays down but then realizes she wants something else)

(Jaden grabs the pacifier from the nightstand and puts it in her mouth while she sucks on it and he scrolls through looking for something to watch)
Lexie: musical!
Josh: high school musical?
Lexie: yeah!
(Jaden puts it on and they start watching but eventually the three of them doze off to sleep during the movie)
