Lexie's pov
I groaned and rolled over to turn off my alarm and saw that it was nine thirty and I have to be at high water in an hour. Ugh I don't want to go today I'd rather pull the sheets over my head and stay in bed all day but before I could even do that I heard Jaden's voice.

Jaden: don't even think about it get up
Lexie: (looks at him) your eyes are still closed how did you know what I wanted to do??
Jaden: because I know you now go get ready, josh and Bryce are going to take you because they are going to film and I have to go to the studio
Lexie: ugh okay fineee
(Lexie gets up from the bed and walks out of the room while Jaden leans over and kisses josh who opens his eyes)
Josh: good morning (smiles)
Jaden: morning (smiles)
Josh: what time is it?
Jaden: nine thirty, your still going to take lex right?
Josh: yeah I should probably start getting ready now, you going to the studio today?
Jaden: yeah
Josh: okay (pecks him on the lips) I am going to go wake up Bryce
Jaden: alright
Lexie's pov
I was in my room going through my closet and decided to go with tight black Nike pro shorts with a crop top and put my hair in a high ponytail with sneakers and my other dance bag and started walking downstairs when I saw josh with his camera screaming and running down the stairs and a wet Bryce chasing after him... so typical morning in the sway house. Then I made my way downstairs towards the kitchen to see josh hiding behind griffin who I could tell was mentally face palming by the look on his face.

Lexie: do I want to know what happened?
Bryce: this mother fucker thought it would be funny to barge into my room not knowing Addy was here and sprayed water on the both of us
Josh: not my fault you snuck Addison in, in the middle of the night! (Still hiding behind griffin)
Griffin: I told have time for you guys I need to meet Micheal for a meeting, starts walking away
Josh: he's going to kill me!
Bryce: you bet your ass Richards get back here!
Josh: nope sorry bud I don't feel like dying today (grabs a random spray gun on the counter)
Bryce: don't you dare
Josh: don't make me spray you again also we need to start filming so go get ready
Bryce: fine showering with addy is a lot more fun then chasing you (smirks)
Lexie: TMI Bryce!!
Bryce: like you've never done it
Lexie: (glares at him) josh hand me the spray gun
Bryce: (laughs) you don't scare me now if you'll excuse me I am going back upstairs (starts walking upstairs)
Lexie: hurry it up if I am late because of you I'll tell all the fan girls where we live!!
(Bryce ignores her and continues walking upstairs while Jaden, Quinton, Kio and Anthony walk downstairs)
Jaden: you should eat something I don't think you'll have enough time to go to Starbucks with the girls today
Lexie: why not (whines)
Quinton: well for one it's already ten
Lexie: BRYCE HALL I SWEAR IF YOUR FUCKING ADDY AND I DON'T GET MY STARBUCKS I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!! (Yells upstairs)
Scene change
Addy: (laughs) you know for a fifteen year old she definitely has a pair of lungs
Bryce: tell me about it (wraps his arms around her waist and kisses her neck)
Addy: nope sorry lover boy not today
Bryce: why (whines)
Addy: I have to be on set and you need to film with josh
Bryce: it'll be quick I promise (pecks her on the lips)
Addy: a quick one turns into fifteen minutes with you
Bryce: not true
Addy: hmm
Bryce: it's not my fault your sexy
Addy: and it's not mine either (pecks his lips and steps out of the shower and wraps the towel around her waist and walks out of the bathroom)
Bryce: tease!
Addy: love you too

Lexie's pov
Finally after what felt like eternity Bryce came downstairs dressed and ready to go and we said bye to the boys and left the house.

Lexie: your not going to get lost again are you?
Josh: that was months ago let it go
Lexie: nope I am never letting it go
Five minutes later
Lexie: josh where are you?
Josh: would you chill I put it on the gps I know where I am going
Bryce: yeah give the guy the benefit of the doubt
Lexie: I'll give him the benefit of the doubt when pigs fly
Ten minutes later
Lexie's pov
I have come to the conclusion that josh is once again lost even though he put it in the GPS and I have no idea how that's even possible it is now ten twenty which means I have ten minutes before I am officially late. I groaned and hit my head against the window listening to Bryce and josh argue about them missing a turn. I pulled out my phone and texted the girls.

Lexie: there's a high chance that I am going to be late today or miss first period
Dani: why?
Lexie: tweedle dee and tweedle dumber are driving me to school today
Amy: who?
Clare: josh and Bryce
Them: ohh
Dani: we'll miss Cassie hates when people are tardy so if I were you get here as soon as you can
Lexie: thanks for the warning (puts the phone down and looks at josh) how hard is it to put high water dance school in your gps?
Josh: wait, was the dance school part important? I figured I could just put high water and it would work
Lexie: your an idiot (shakes her head) give me the phone
(Josh hands the phone to her and she puts the right address in the gps and hands it back to josh)
Bryce: oh we'll be there in thirty minutes hopefully without traffic
Lexie: (glares) great just great (folds her arms)
Thirty minutes later
Bryce: have a good day! Don't forget to eat something you skipped breakfast
Lexie: yeah I know thanks to you two bye (gets out of the car and walks towards the school and towards cassie's class)
Cassie: and what has been so important that your thirty minutes late to class miss hossler?
Lexie: i am sorry miss my brothers got lost
Cassie: what's the number one rule in the dance world class?
Class: always be on time
Cassie: exactly, Braden why is it important for you to be on time?
Braden: casting calls
Cassie: good (turns to Lexie) do you what would happen if you gave a casting director that excuse?
Lexie: no miss...
Cassie: they would laugh and tell you to get out of their office so what do you think I am going to tell you?
Lexie: get out of your class...
Cassie: exactly
Odalie: aww too bad you don't get special treatment just because your brother's famous you know
Dani: that comment wasn't necessary (looks at her)
Odalie: what? Just stating facts
Cassie: alright class that's enough go back to your drills and Lexie maybe next time you want to attend class be on time
Lexie: yes miss I am sorry
Lexie's pov
I sighed and walked out of the classroom and sat on one of the benches in the hall and really wished I had a vape pen right now, but instead I just pulled out my phone and texted Jaden.

Lexie: I was thirty minutes late because josh got lost 🙄 and now I got kicked out of class
Big bro: as I am sorry lex next time I'll see if griffin or Kio can take you

Big bro: okay well I have to get into the booth so I'll talk to you later
Lexie: fine
(Lexie puts her phone down when she hears footsteps and looks up to see moose)
Moose: what are you doing outside of class?
Lexie: miss Cassie kicked me out because I was late
Moose: (laughs) yeah she's a bit of a hard ass
Lexie: a bit? She's harder on me then everyone else and rude I just don't think she likes me honestly
Moose: you want my opinion?
Lexie: sure...
Moose: she's hard on you because she knows your good but you don't know your good
Lexie: (scoffs) yeah right
Moose: I am serious your a really good dancer but your insecurities are holding you back from reaching your full potential
Lexie: I am not insecure (crosses her arms)
Moose: really your not? Then why are you getting so defensive
Lexie: because I don't appreciate you assuming things when you don't even know me
Moose: I don't have to know you, you speak through your dancing and even though your really good your insecurities still show
Lexie: okay whatever you say mr. dance yoda
Moose: (laughs for a few minutes and then stops and looks at her) I am supposed to meet Camille in the studio but it's empty so you can come with me so you aren't in the hall by yourself
Lexie: (sighs) sure why not but no more staring into my soul
Moose: (laughs again) deal
(Moose and Lexie walk to the room where Camille is sitting on the couch watching videos)
Camille: hey there you are (smiles)
Moose: sorry I got caught up talking with Lexie you remember her right
Camille: (smiles) of course the girl who has so much potential if she were to just let go
Lexie: okay what is with you two trying to figure me out all of a sudden
Camille: we pay attention to the students who are worth it (shrugs her shoulders)
Lexie: I am not worth it trust me
Moose: that right there, do you always talk down about yourself like that
Lexie: (shrugs) pretty much
Moose: stop it you know what you say becomes a reality right especially the way you think about yourself
Lexie: so I have been told anyway you said I could dance right?
Moose: yeah feel free to connect your phone to the speaker you have twenty minutes before the other students come in
Lexie: thanks
Lexie's pov
I grabbed my phone and connected it to the speaker then went to my playlist and started looking through it. I didn't feel like doing contemporary because it was too emotional so I just went with reggaeton music and the song baila baila from J balvin came on and I just started improvising and matching the beat of the music with my steps. Once I started I had completed zoned out everything around me and just focused on the dance I was creating and I forgot about what happened in class this morning and the boys and their stupidity it was just me and the music just how I liked.

Camille: she's good do you think we can get her to compete this year?
Moose: I think she's going to need to be more confident in herself before putting her out there even if she is good she doesn't believe it so she's just going to be comparing herself to the other contestants
Camille: that's true so is she going to be the one we mentor this year?
Moose: I think so, I feel like we can help her you know
Camille: I agree
(A few minutes later Camille and moose are watching her when the studio door opens)
?: guess who's back!
Moose: Luke!
Camille: Natalie! (Runs and hugs her) how was the honeymoon
Natalie: amazing
Luke: hey bro (daps up moose and looks at Lexie) who's the girl?
Moose: she's the new student her name is Lexie I'll introduce her (walks over to Lexie)
Lexie: what's up? (Looks at him)
Moose: stop dancing for a second there's someone I want you to meet plus class is going to start in five
Lexie: oh okay (disconnects her phone from the blue tooth and puts it in her pocket)
Moose: Lexie I'd like you to meet Luke and Natalie they are the two other coaches along with us but they were on a honeymoon
Lexie: oh congrats (smiles at them)
Natalie: thanks it's nice to meet you, that was a great free style by the way
Lexie: oh that was nothing but thank you
Luke: that wasn't nothing you were doing steps that are pretty advanced to be honest with you
Lexie: I guess but uh thank you again
Luke: no problem
(Just then the students come walking into the studio)
Odalie: omg Luke your back!!!
Luke: hey Odalie how are you?
Odalie: I am good glad to have you back (winks at him)
Natalie: alright that's enough flirting with my husband (says in a playful tone but still serious)
Luke: alright listen up now that I am back today we are going to be doing something a little different
Dani: oh no I know where this is going
Lexie: what?
Amy: he's going to make us work out?
Clare: why? Also I didn't hug you earlier (looks at Lexie and hugs her)
Lexie: it's okay I was late but hi to you too (hugs her back)
Luke: I know you loved having moose teach because he probably let you guys dance but if you guys want to be performers you can't just know the steps you have to make sure you have the energy levels and the stamina anyone want to answer why that's important? Ethan any guesses
Ethan: because if your performing on stage you can't lose energy three minutes into the song
Luke: good and in order for that to not happen you guys have to have the body and I am not talking skinny or fat I am talking about having the strength to not only do the steps, stay on beat, and engage with your Audience but also show them your not tired so for that reason we are working out today
(The class groans)
Natalie: and it's not going to be just simple jumping jacks, sit ups and push ups even though we will do those as well we are also going to do resistance training which means we are going to push your bodies to their limit and you will be sore tomorrow but that's a good thing (smiles) now let's start
Lexie's pov
Well I am going to die yup that's what's going to happen I have no food in my system nor the energy for any of this so I am going to die. Luke put on music to get us pumped and started with jumping jacks to get the blood flowing and I lost count of how many we did then he had us do squats, sit ups, push ups, planks and moved onto resistance training the first thing we had to do was sit on the ground making sure that our bodies were aligned and centered and hold our hands up and breathe. Now listen that might sound easy but after ten minutes of holding your arms up in a position that engages every single muscle it starts to burn then we stood up in a squat position but had to open our legs up just a little bit with our chest looking up and had to breathe. We stayed in that position for a while and I felt my legs start to shake which he noticed and he said and I quote "let them shake that's good" yeah okay mr I am so fit and have abs and muscles for days. Finally he let us stand up and we had to do ten laps around the studio area with frog jumps right after. Forty five minutes later I was sweating, my heart was racing, I could barely catch my breath I was panting so much, I felt sick like I was going to throw up and my vision was blurry.

Moose: Lexie are you okay? (Looks at her)
Lexie: y y yeah I am f fine
Camille: are you sure? Because your pale why don't you sit down and drink some water
Lexie: o okay (sits down)
Lexie's pov
I drank my water but I guess I drank it to quick because I ran to the bathroom and threw up but since I barely had anything in my system all i could throw up was bile and water. I walked back to them and Camille handed me a granola bar.

Camille: did you have breakfast today lex?
Lexie: n no m my b brothers w w were l late and I c couldn't (still catching her breath)
Moose: okay I think your done for the day I want you to lay down on the ground feet up in the air, Camille stay with her to make sure she doesn't faint and I am going to tell Luke
Camille: okay
Lexie's pov
Camille stayed with me for a little while and I closed my eyes and focused on my breathing there's no way I am going to faint if that happens I end up going to the hospital and my secret comes out. It took me the rest of class but eventually I began to feel better and I could sit up normally without getting dizzy and I took sips of water and was able to keep it down. After that class it was lunch time but I was still feeling sick and didn't want to risk throwing up again so I just sat with Amy, Dani and Clare at the tables because they brought lunch this time.

Dani: are you sure you don't want half of my sandwich?
Lexie: no thanks I am good really
Amy: are you sure?
Lexie: yeah
Clare: what happened today lex?
Lexie: the boys have pretty much banned me from working out because of how skinny I am so my body stopped getting used to it and I pushed myself too much I guess
Clare's pov
I listened to what Lexie was saying but I don't know if I believe it or not honestly. I know she gets hate because I see it on her feed and Odalie definitely doesn't help the situation plus I have an eating disorder myself and know the lies because I have told them but I also know how much it hurts when someone asks if they relapsed and they haven't... it's almost like a trigger for them and I don't want to trigger her. You know what I'll just keep an eye on her for a little while and if I see more signs I'll say something.

Lexie's pov
I could feel Clare looking at me as I was talking to Amy and Dani but I tried to ignore it I didn't want to make it obvious that wasn't what happened at all but what she doesn't know won't hurt her. The lunch bell rang and it was time for the last class which was contemporary and it went by quickly because three o clock rolled around and the dismissal bell rang. Clare and I said bye to the girls and went to her car and she started driving when her phone started ringing on the blue tooth so she answered it.

Clare: hey dad what's up?
Justin: hey Clare are you with Lexie?
Clare: yeah I am on my way to drop her off why?
Justin: don't worry just come here because the boys are on their way to the house we are going to have dinner together and they wanted to meet the little one
Clare: oh okay well then we'll be there in about fifteen minutes
Justin: okay see you soon, drive safe
Clare: thanks J

Lexie; yay I finally get to meet Amelia
Clare: she's so cute I can't wait for you to see her
Lexie's pov
The rest of the drive we talked about how she enjoys being a big sister and I couldn't help but wonder what my life would have been like if I was the older sibling... Actually no because I wouldn't want any other kid to grow up neglected by my parents. We finally pulled into Justin's driveway and I saw the triller van along with Jaden's car which means he's here already. I got out of the car and followed Clare to the front door and she opened it, I put my bags in her room and she gave me a shirt to borrow so that I could hold Amelia and not get the school germs on her and she changed too and we walked into the living room to see Justin, Selena and the boys in the living room and Kio was holding Amelia. I walked over to Justin and Selena first to congratulate them and Selena gave me a hug and then I walked over to the boys and when Jaden saw me he pulled me down to his lap and hugged me.

Jaden: how was dance?
Lexie: it was okay
Josh: hey bud I am sorry I got us lost this morning, jay told me you got kicked out of your first class
Lexie: it's okay I was upset but not anymore (looks over at kio) can I hold her?
Kio: yeah here just make sure to hold her neck up
Lexie: okay
(Kio hands Lexie Amelia and she's holding her and looking at her)
Lexie: she's so cute and tiny
Jaden: kind of like how you were maybe even a little tinier
Lexie: really? (Looks at him)
Jaden: yeah the doctors said you were one inch away from being a preemie
Josh: aww
Selena: doctors said the same thing about Clare too (laughs)
Clare: hey I have gotten taller
Lexie: lucky I wish I could be taller
Griffin: no because then we couldn't call you the sway baby
Justin: aww that's a cute nickname
Lexie: stop teasing me about my height (pouts and looks down at Amelia again) Jaden do you want to hold her?
Jaden: sure
(Lexie passes her to him and gets off his lap and goes over to Quinton and pulls her on his lap)
Lexie: seriously
Quinton: your tiny and weigh nothing so yes
Lexie: I give up
Jaden's pov
After Lexie handed me Amelia I got flashbacks from when Lexie was first born. I was six and my dad brought me into the hospital room and my mom was laying on the bed exhausted but she was holding something in her arms I just couldn't see it until I climbed on the bed with her and that's when I saw Lexie. She was practically swallowed by the blanket, my mom handed me to her and the minute she was in my arms she opened her eyes but she didn't cry instead she just looked at me with her beautiful blue eyes and from then on I swore I was going to protect her... I clearly didn't do a good job though. I handed Amelia back to justin and walked to the kitchen to grab a drink of water and when I turned around I saw Lexie standing there.

Lexie: you okay?
Jaden: yeah I was just remembering something
Lexie: what?
Jaden: the day you were born I make a promise to myself that I was going to protect you... I am sorry Lexie I am so sorry
Lexie: aww bubba (wraps her arms around him) you didn't know and to be fair even if you did answer I probably wouldn't have told you anyway... and you've made up for it already you do protect me even if you go overboard a bit (jokes) I love you
Jaden: I love you so much you know I don't care what mom or dad say you were practically my little girl anyway
Lexie: I know now carry me back over there I am tired
Jaden: (laughs) okay
(They walk back over to the living room and josh looks at him)
Josh: you okay?
Jaden: yeah (pecks him on the lips) you?
Josh: yeah I can't wait to have our own little one though one day
Lexie: you have me hellooo
Josh: (laughs) true (kisses the top of her head)
Lexie: bubba
Jaden: hmm
Lexie: I tired
Jaden: you want to start going home?
Lexie: hmm (nods her head)
Jaden: okay (looks at Justin, Selena and Clare) it's already almost seven I think we are going to head out but thanks for having us over and congrats on your new little one
Justin: yeah anytime actually now that your here I wanted to ask you because I know how open you and josh are with your faith do you guys want to come with us to Hillsong church tomorrow?
Jaden: yeah we'd love too just text me what time
Justin: okay I'll see you guys tomorrow
Clare: bye Lexie (hugs her)
Lexie: bye (smiles)
Anthony: come on let's get her home or she's going to fall asleep on your shoulder
Quinton: we can stop and get dinner on the way too
Lexie: but I want to go home (whines)
Jaden: we have two cars I'll take her and you guys all stop at McDonald's
Quinton: okay
Josh: I'll go with you jay
Blake: what should we get lex? Cheeseburger and fries?
Jaden: yeah
Lexie's pov
We got in the car and started driving home and I was closing my eyes because I felt physically and mentally drained. I had no more energy left in me I closed my eyes and only woke them up again when josh was lightly shaking me saying that we were home. I got out of the car still half asleep and I stumbled out of the car and almost tripped but josh held onto me.

Josh: woah lex are you okay?
Lexie: hmm just half asleep
Josh: I don't know you look pale are you feeling alright?
Lexie: hmm
Jaden: (looks at her) she needs to eat come on let's go inside and you can shower while the boys are getting McDonald's
Josh: she can barely stand right now I don't think a shower is a good idea right now
Jaden: true just put her on the couch until the boys come and maybe when she's done eating she'll have a little more energy
Josh: okay
(Josh puts Lexie on the couch and she lays her head on the pillow while Jaden grabs lex a bottle of water)
Jaden: drink it slowly
Lexie: okay (takes a few sips)
Josh: what did you have for lunch today?
Lexie: I didn't like anything there today and we didn't leave the campus because the other girls brought food and I didn't want half of their sandwich either...
Jaden: and you skipped breakfast right?
Lexie: yeah (looks on the floor)
Jaden: (sighs) I am going to let this slide once and one time only you know how important it is for you to eat, next time you skip a whole day of eating your getting punished understand?
Lexie: yeah...
Jaden: good
Lexie's pov
Shit that was a close one but at least I made the lie believable but if he's upset about me missing one day imagine how he'll feel if he knew I was purging the last few days... I tried not to think about it and heard the door open and groaned because the boys were here which meant the food was here. Josh helped me sit up since I could barely do that either and he handed me my cheeseburger, I didn't bother arguing with them this time and I didn't have the energy to argue with them regardless so I just took bite after bite until I ate it all and half the fries. Then griffin handed me the coke to get my sugar levels up and I was slowly starting to feel better.

Lexie: okay I am going to go take a shower
Griffin: are you sure your feeling better now?
Lexie: yeah I'll take a bath it makes you feel better
Jaden: yeah I don't need you falling again and do it in our bathroom that way when your done you can have a bottle and we can go to bed after
Lexie: a bottle really jaden
Jaden: yes don't argue with me you need nutrition right now
Lexie: I won't classify milk as "nutrition" but okay I am going to shower goodnight guys
Boys: night Lexie
Lexie's pov
I walked to my room and grabbed a onesie pajama because as much as I hated them in the beginning I have come to the conclusion they are comfortable as fuck. Then I walked to their bathroom and turned the hot water on and just let my body soak in it for a minute because I knew tomorrow after the work out with Luke I am going to be so sore tomorrow. After a few minutes I washed myself, got out and wrapped the towel around me and dried off and put on the onesie and walked out of the bathroom to see Jaden holding the bottle already and josh was looking through paramount plus.

Lexie: ooo drake and josh please please please
Josh: you don't even need to beg (puts it on)
Lexie: yay!
(Lexie Walks over to the bed and gets in the middle of them and Jaden hands her the bottle)
Lexie: bubba I don't want it (whines)
Jaden: I am not arguing with you about this Lexie Marie take the bottle
Lexie: fine (whines and takes it and looks at it) I don't want to do it
Jaden: do you want me or josh to give it to you?
Lexie: Joshy
Josh: okay
Josh's pov
I grabbed the bottle from Lexie's hands and picked her up so she was laying on my lap at an angle where I could hold her up she wouldn't choke and put the bottle to her lips and a few seconds later she was sucking on it and watching drake and josh. Halfway through the bottle she was closing her eyes but then she would suck on the milk and open her eyes again until she was finished with the bottle almost fully asleep by now. I put the pacifier in her mouth and put her in the middle of the bed and pulled the sheets over her and she started to mumble.

(Closes her eyes and falls asleep)
Josh: (shocked) you heard that too right?
Jaden: yeah I heard (smiles) but don't tell her she said that or she'll kill you in the morning
Josh: (laughs) your probably right about but you have to admit it was cute
Jaden: it was adorable (pecks him on the lips) just like you now it's late let's get some sleep
Josh: okay (turns off his led lights and closes his eyes)
