Josh's pov
I heard my phone going off and groaned but picked up the phone anyway and opened my eyes to see it was Gavin calling me.

Josh: hey bro
Gavin: sup are we still on for today?
Josh: hell yeah I literally just woke up but if you want to come by my house in about an hour two
Gavin: alright I'll pick up Wyatt and we'll head over there
Josh: okay see you bro

(Jaden wakes up and sees josh putting his phone down)
Jaden: morning babe
Josh: did I wake you up by talking on the phone?
Jaden: no I was already starting to wake up anyway
Josh: oh okay well how do you feel about going to the hockey rink today?
Jaden: I am down is the rest of your family coming?
Josh: if they want or we can take Lexie or she can stay with them whatever she's comfortable with
Jaden: okay sounds good
(Jaden looks down at Lexie who's sleeping and still sucking on the pacifier)
Jaden: she looks so cute like that (smiles)
Josh: yeah she does when did she come in last night though?
Jaden: I don't know how late it was but she came in because she couldn't sleep in Liv's room and then hinted at wanting to use the pacifier without saying it
Josh: hey that's progress
Jaden: yeah but we are gonna have to give her the bottle eventually
Josh: want to do it now? I can see if anyone's awake and you can warm it up and I'll stay with her
Jaden: do I want to? No but we can't keep procrastinating it and I think it would be a good idea since we don't know if she's gonna get triggered today
Josh: good point alright let me get up and see if anyone's awake
Jaden: okay
Josh's pov
I left the bedroom and walked to the living room and saw that it was empty along with the kitchen and didn't hear anyone awake in the rooms so I walked back to my room to tell Jaden we were in the clear. I got back in the bed and Jaden slowly got off not wanting to wake Lexie up just yet and walked over to his bag and pulled out a purple bottle with flowers on it and walked out of the room and I could only hope that Lexie's reaction wouldn't be half as bad as I think it will be.

Jaden's pov
I walked over to the kitchen and put a pot of water on the stove and put it at the lowest setting and then just google searched how to make a bottle. Now I could have just put milk in the bottle and be done with it but I did the research and the reason parents warm up the bottle is because the warm milk is supposed to be soothing which is what reduces the stress levels so I let the bottle sit in the water for three minutes and took it out and went to the fridge and poured the milk inside and then tested it on my wrist to make sure it wasn't too hot which it wasn't and walked back to the room where josh was just scrolling on his phone.

Josh: ready?
Jaden: nope but gotta do it some point
Josh: true (looks at Lexie and lightly shakes her)
Lexie: hmm (groans)
Josh: time to wake up lex
Lexie: I don't want too (whines)
Jaden: please lex I just want you to wake up for something you don't have to get ready just yet but I do need you up
Lexie: whyyyy
Jaden: because I want you to try something
Lexie's pov
My eyes were closed but I could hear the hesitant tone of voice Jaden had which caused me to open my eyes and in his hand I saw a purple baby bottle in his hand with milk inside it and then I realized I still had the pacifier in my mouth! Oh my god I can't believe I let a day of weakness get to me stooping so low as to suck on it. I quickly took it out of my mouth and threw it on the floor as if it was some type of explosive and wanted it as far away from me as possible.

Josh: did you have to throw it? (Gets off the bed and walks over to it to rinse it in the sink and put in the case)
Lexie: Jaden come near me with that thing and I promise i am going to throw it against the wall so hard it breaks I don't care if I get milk all over the floor
Jaden: Lexie you did pretty good with the pacifier you might actually like the bottle too if you gave it a chance
Lexie: just because I asked for it last night doesn't mean I like the damn thing it means I was... not in the right state of mind
Jaden: fine whatever the reason is you still used it so try giving this a chance
Lexie: read my lips no do you want to hear it in Spanish??
(Jaden walks over to Lexie and sits on the bed)
Jaden: look I'll even let you hold the bottle so I don't have to feed it to you
Lexie's pov
I looked over at Jaden and then at the bottle and then at Jaden again and then at the wall in front of me then back at Jaden and the bottle. Okay Jaden you want to play this whole age therapy thing and want me to act younger then I am then be careful what you wish for. I took the bottle out of his hand and looked at it for two seconds to make them think I was going to try it and then I threw it towards the wall and it landed on the floor.

Josh: really Lexie! (Whisper shouts)
(Lexie just shrugs her shoulders and Jaden walks over to see it still perfectly intact with not even a drop of milk spilled and walks back over to her)
Jaden: last chance to drink it by yourself or I feed it to you
Lexie: Jaden this isn't fair, I know that I can be childish sometimes or I depend on you guys but this whole thing is stupid!! I don't want to fucking do it
Josh: I know you don't Lexie and trust me if the doctor didn't want you doing it we never would have even thought of this but the doctor wants you to do it so we are doing it
Lexie: can't you just tell the doctor we are doing it but in reality we don't have to actually do it
Jaden: oh yeah and the next doctors appointment your stress levels are through the roof or even before then you end up in the hospital, did you forget that you woke up last yesterday morning WITH a fever
Lexie: yeah because I had a nightmare and was sweating in that stupid onesie
Josh: and because you had two panic attacks which happens when your triggered which causes stress oh look we went full circle and we don't know if your going to get triggered today so it's better safe than sorry
Lexie: I am not gonna get triggered today
Josh: oh really your not?
Lexie: no
Jaden: okay then I'll tell you what Lexie we won't give you the milk right now but if you so much as bounce your leg from anxiety or need to use the stress ball today when we get home tonight your drinking the bottle understand? And that doesn't mean we aren't going to do it at all it just means you got away with it for today
Lexie: okay deal
Jaden: alright if you want start getting ready to go to the ice rink with us today unless you want to stay here with Casey and Derek
Lexie: no I want to go with you guys but I'll see if Liv wants to come
Jaden: okay
(Lexie leaves the bedroom and Jaden walks to the kitchen and pours the milk down the sink and rinses the bottle before putting it back in the bag)
Josh: do you think she's going to be able to go the whole day without getting triggered?
Jaden: I want to say yes for her sake because it would mean she's making somewhat progress but I don't know the only time I can remember her not being triggered by something is when she's under the influence of something else

Lexie's pov
I walked over to Olivia's room who had her light on and she was just watching tv so I walked over to her.

Lexie: hey Olivia the boys are gonna go to the skating rink do you want to come with us?
Olivia: I wish I could but my school's doing something for juniors and seniors only
Lexie: no don't worry about it have fun
Olivia: okay thanks and when I get back we can chill in my room
Lexie: sounds like a plan
(Lexie walks back to the boys room)
Josh: what did she say?
Lexie: she has some junior and senior thing to go to
Josh: oh okay so then it'll probably be just us then and my dad
Jaden: okay lex start getting ready
Lexie: okay
Lexie's pov
I opened my suitcase and I pulled out two gray long sleeves to be used as layers and then a long sleeve and a red plaid long sleeve shirt for the actual top and my white coat and a pair of black snow boots and went to the bathroom to get dressed. I decided to leave my hair down and ask josh for a beanie since I know he has hundreds.

Josh: yeah sure (tosses her a white one)
Lexie: thanks (puts it on)
Jaden: you look cute we should definitely take pics in the snow
Lexie: okay
Casey: KIDS BREAKFAST IS READY!
(Jaden, josh, Lexi, will and Olivia all walk to the kitchen and see Casey grabbing plates and Derek drinking coffee)
Derek: morning guys

Josh: Dad you want to come to the hockey rink with us?
Derek: yeah but I'll catch up with you guys because I am picking up some of the kids on the hockey team for practice
Josh: okay cool
Knock knock
Josh: it's open!!
(The door opens and Josh's two best friends Wyatt and Gavin walk into the house)
Wyatt: yo is josh Richards finally hope after ditching us for LA (jokes)
Josh: oh shut up (bro hugs him)
Gavin: sup J (dabs him up)
Josh: I want you to meet my boyfriend Jaden and his sister Lexie we just haven't told the public yet so don't go saying anything
Wyatt: got it (daps Jaden up) nice to meet you
Jaden: you too
Gavin: ever played hockey before?
Jaden: yeah but I am not very good (jokes)
Casey: (looks at Wyatt and Gavin) do you guys want some breakfast?
Wyatt: yes mam
Lexie's pov
We all sat down at the table and Casey served me a little bit of scrambled eggs with a few slices of bacon which I was thankful for because I didn't want to have a lot of food on my plate and not be able to finish it. The boys were all having their own conversations and Olivia was sitting next to me and we were talking and getting to know each other while Will was rambling about some new level he had just passed in Mario kart. A good hour later we were all getting into the van because Casey insisted we take it since there's a lot of us. Josh got in the drivers seat, Jaden was in the passenger and I was in the back with Wyatt and Gavin who were trying to get to know me more and It's not that I don't think Wyatt and Gavin would do anything since they are Josh's friends but I would have preferred Jaden at least being in the back with me. Josh turned the radio on and started blasting the music which calmed my nerves a little bit because we all vibed until we got to the ice rink. I wasn't actually play hockey with the boys but I figured I could at least try and ice skate and josh said that the skating rink is somewhat divided so it works out. We got out of the car and payed for an hour and if we were going to stay longer they could have increased it and then asked for our skate sizes and put our other sneakers in these cubbies. We got onto the ice and at first I was a little off balance since I haven't been on skates since going with my friends in Tennessee so Jaden held my hand to help me stay balanced.

Lexie: okay Jae you can let go now
Jaden: you sure?
Lexie: yeah I have got my balance go play hockey with the boys
Jaden: okay I am literally right across the rink if you need anything
Lexie: yeah yeah now go (starts skating on her own)
Jaden: okay (skates off with the rest of the boys)
Lexie's pov
Once I saw Jaden was across the rink I walked over to the balance bar that was there real quick to take out my phone and plug in my headphones and I clicked on one of my favorite songs I used to skate to which was reaching for heaven from one of my favorite Disney movies ice princess, and I just skated with the music playing in the background and just me by myself no anxious thoughts, no worries, the boys weren't hovering over me like they usually are and it felt like I could breathe. I found myself doing tricks that I thought I forgot since I haven't been on the ice in so long but eventually I found myself landing my axle and doing twists and turns and I was happy until I felt someone push me and I lost my balance and fell on the ice, I looked up to see these four girl probably my age of maybe even a bit younger but they were taller then me so it didn't matter.

Lexie: can't I just go one day without having to kick someone's ass or someone kicking mine
(Lexie grabs onto the balance bar but then she gets pushed onto the ice again)
Lexie: okay quit it I don't know any of you so please tell me what the fuck did i do
Girl 1: your living with the sway boys
Lexie: are you fucking serious you literally pushed me onto the ice because I live with the sway boys!?
Girl 2: that you think your all that
Girl 3: yeah who do you think you are coming into OUR skating rink and showing off like that your just an attention whore
Girl 4: I bet you leaked and made up that assault video all for attention didn't you
Lexie: I can assure you that's not what I did at all and your so lucky we are on ice because if we weren't I would have kicked your asses a long time ago (regains her balance finally)
Girl 1: really because it looks like we have the upper hand (pushes Lexie again)
Wyatt's pov
The I was just about to get the puck into the net when I looked up and across from the rink to see these group of girls in a circle and I couldn't see Lexie anywhere.

Wyatt: hey Jaden where's your sister?
Jaden: what do you mean she's (looks across the rink) she was right there
Josh: come on let's go near those girls and see if they've seen her
Jaden: okay
(The boys start skating over there and then they see Lexie getting back up from being on the ice only to get pushed again)
Josh: HEY!! What do you girls think your doing!?
(The girls stop pushing Lexie long enough for her to regain her balance and hold onto bar and the boys approach them)
Lexie: I am fine
Jaden: I don't care (looks at the girls) did you guys just push her?
Girls: no
Josh: really because we just saw you push her and I don't know who you guys are or who you think you but you have absolutely no right to push someone on the ice not to mention the fact that it's dangerous
Jaden: what are your names and why did you think it would be okay to do that?
Girl 1: we never said it was okay but we saw her and thought she was an easy target plus it's obvious she's stealing you from your fans
Jaden: no no don't you DARE call yourself a fan because any loyal fans of ours would know how much we care and protect Lexie and they wouldn't do anything to hurt her come on lex let's go
Lexie: no I want to keep skating please Jaden I am fine honestly
(Jaden looks over at josh who looks at him then back at the girls)
Josh: you have two choices one you leave the rink right now or two I call security and have them escort you out
Girl 2: we can't do that we have practice in like ten minutes
(The door to the hockey rink opens and Derek along with a few other teens enter the rink)

Derek: (turns around) Lydia what did I tell you in the car
Lydia: sorry coach
Girl 1: (mumbles) shit
Josh: wait a minute (turns to the girls) is my dad your coach?
Girl 2: good going Abby you might have forgot about that one little detail (looks at girl 1)
Josh: hey dad can you come here for a second
Derek: yeah (skates over to them) what's up?
Josh: these girls were pushing Lexie onto the ice for no other reason but to fuck with her
Lexie: josh stop please it's okay I don't care
Derek: is that true? (Looks at the girls)
Abby: technically yes but you heard the bitch she doesn't care
Derek: alright that's it you four are benched for this practice go sit down (looks at Lexie) are you okay?
Lexie: I am fine
(Lexie skates towards the door and opens it and walks off the ice and sits on one of the chairs and starts taking off her skates while the boys start walking over to her)
Gavin: I thought you wanted to skate more?
Lexie: no I just want to go home now
Jaden: lex if it's because we said something about it and stood up for you..
Lexie: I don't need you to fight my battles for me Jaden or you josh, I had it handled! I think you keep forgetting that while you were in LA I had no choice but to fight my own battles!!! And I can't keep doing that if you keep getting in the way, and now I bet you anything she's going to message TikTok room and tell them all about how Lexie Hossler just got her benched because she was too weak to stick up for herself!! (Finishes putting her sneakers on and storms outside to the parking lot)
Josh: (looks at Wyatt and Gavin) I am sorry you guys had to see that but can you give us like five minutes with her and then we'll go
Gavin: yeah take your time bro
Lexie's pov
Why! I had probably an hour to myself where I finally felt happy but of course the universe can't let that happen no I always need to get pushed around or assaulted in some kind of way it's not fair! I let out a scream in the parking lot and of course I just had to feel arms wrap around me.

Lexie: Jaden let me go!! Don't touch me just leave me alone!!
Jaden: (holds onto her tighter and brings her to his chest) I am sorry lex I am so sorry you have to deal with this constantly and don't worry we'll figure out how to handle it
Lexie: that's the problem! You guys want to handle it and you can't because every time something happens you step in and it makes me look even weaker and I am not weak! I know I am a lot of things with a lot of issues and I know I am a burden but I am not weak!! I had to take care of myself all on my own! I had to deal with the bullies at school and Jake and all the other shit that's happened on my own!!
Josh: and look at what's done to you Lexie, you carry so much weight on shoulders because you refuse to talk about it or let it go and you can't keep doing that anymore it's not healthy mentally and physically so if the boys and I need to step in now because that's what being in a family is then that's what we are going to fucking do and that does NOT make you weak do you hear me? You are probably the strongest fifteen year old I know
Lexie: do you really mean that? (Looks up at him)
Josh: yeah I do (takes her out of Jaden's arms and hugs her)
Lexie: I am sorry for losing my shit in front of your friends
Josh: it's okay they understand but what do you say we go to a cafe and get some hot chocolate
Lexie: okay (smiles)
Jaden: there's that smile come on let's go (takes her hand and holds it and they walk to the car where Gavin and Wyatt were waiting)
Lexie: I am sorry you had to see that..
Wyatt: it's okay we don't understand what it's like to be in your shoes but it's probably not easy
Lexie: it's not

We all got back in the van and josh started driving to the cafe, I pulled out my phone and texted the boys.

Jaden: Canada itself has been good but guys we need to do something about the hate Lexie's been getting
Bryce: who's ass do I need to beat now because I will personally get a ticket and fly there

Quinton: well now you got them all riled up
Jaden: unfortunately Bryce can't hit girls but we went to the skating rink and these girls came up to lex while we were playing hockey and repeatedly pushed her onto the ice
Griffin: what the fuck is she okay?
Jaden: physically yeah but she just lost it on josh and I in the parking lot for stepping in but we had to it's not like we could just let that shit slide
Noah: no of course not and yeah since she doesn't have any socials right now we could all tweet something but I think you and josh should go live and actually make a video because that's just too far
Ant: where's josh?
Jaden: driving we are gonna get hot chocolate and then go back to the house and chill and probably go live when lex is in the shower so she doesn't know
Bryce: okay and we'll all say something too

Lexie's pov
Josh pulled into the parking lot of the cafe and we all got out of the car and we all ordered our drinks and then sat down at the table and the boys started talking and I tried to pay attention to what they were saying but my senses were on high alert. I kept looking over my shoulder and thinking when the next person is gonna come up and insult me or some shit and I didn't realize how into my thoughts I was until I felt a hand on my knee and I felt someone hold my hand which brought me back to reality and I looked up to see Jaden with a worried look in his eyes but that also meant I must have been bouncing my knee. Was I that zoned out and in my head that I didn't notice me bouncing my own leg? Oh great that means tonight I am gonna have to drink from that dreadful bottle good going lex you can't even go one day without having some type of anxiety just add that to the list of everything else wrong with you.

Lexie: I am fine (drinks from the hot chocolate)
Thirty minutes later
Josh: come on let's head back to the house you boys want to chill there?
Gavin: sure
Josh: alright let's go
Lexie's pov
We got up from the table and Jaden paid after convincing josh he wanted to treat all of us and after a five minute debate josh finally let him and we were in the car driving back to the house and once we pulled into the drive way we said hi to Casey and Will and then I asked josh to give me a towel because I wanted to take a shower so he handed me one and I walked into the bathroom and stripped from my clothes and put the water at a really hot temperature and once I was in I finally let the tears fall. God I hate this, I hate that ever since I have been here the boys have managed to break down my walls, I hate that I can't drink my problems away and I have to confront them, I hate that since being with the boys all of my issues that I tried to keep hidden, all my secrets everything just exposed out in the open. For once I feel vulnerable and I hate it.

Josh: Jaden you want to go live?
Jaden: yeah here or in the room?
Josh: here if we do it in my room lex might hear us

Josh: give us like ten minutes, try and find something on Netflix (hands Wyatt the remote and walks to the table)
Jaden: we'll go live on my account
Josh: okay
(Jaden takes out his phone and clicks the Instagram live and a few minutes later thousands of viewers tune in including the boys)
Josh: hey Bryce, Quinton, griffin miss you guys
Jaden: yeah we'll see you guys for New Years but now that we have a good amount of people In here I wanted to come on here with josh because I want to have a serious talk with you guys
Comments: are you okay? We love you! Hope everything's good! Have a good Christmas! Where's Lexie?
Josh: Lexie's somewhere in the house right now but that's what we wanted to talk to you guys about because online bullying is one thing and just because it's easy to say it behind a screen doesn't make it okay the boys and I have been quiet about it for a while now because we wanted to see if the hate would die down and it hasn't and it's gotten to a point where we need to step in and say it's not okay
Jaden: some girl thought that it would be a good idea to push my sister on the ice today multiple times and that pisses me off because now it's becoming physical and for no legitimate reason, Lexie has not done anything to justify the ways that our so called fans have been treating her and I say so called because if any of you guys were real fans you wouldn't be giving her hate in the first place so from now on if I or any of the boys see hate we are blocking and unfollowing and I can assure you that my sister will not be on any social media platforms until I think she can mentally handle it
Josh: we love you guys so much and it hurts to see when you guys give someone we love so much hate so Jaden and I are asking you to please stop it and I think that's it for this live anything you want to say Jae
Jaden: yeah we love our true fans thank you for all the support and we truly appreciate, spread peace, love and positivity and remember love equals change that's it bye guys
(Jaden ends the live and Lexie comes out wearing yellow fuzzy sweatpants and a black long sleeve shirt and walks over to Jaden and curls up against him)
Jaden's pov
I looked down at Lexie and noticed her eyes were red and her face was puffy and looked like she had been crying.

(Lexie just nods her head)
Jaden: (sighs) come here (picks her up and lays her against his chest) I love you
Lexie: I love you too what movie did you guys pick?
Gavin: neighbors
Lexie: (laughs) of course but I am not complaining because you know Dave Franco is hot
Josh: what did you just say?
Lexie: I said Dave Franco is HOT
Josh: no no you can't think anyone's hot
Lexie: oh well (shrugs her shoulders)
Lexie's pov
We watched neighbors and later on Derek came home with Olivia and we all just ended up playing monopoly so Liv and I didn't go to get room but it was still fun. Around eleven thirty Wyatt and Gavin left the house and another thirty minutes of playing monopoly Casey and Derek called it a night with Will and Olivia went to the room and asked if I wanted to go with but I didn't really feel like it tonight so I just declined and went to the room with the boys. I saw josh open the bag and pull out the stupid case with the pacifier and hand the bottle to Jaden damn it I forgot about that maybe I should go to Olivia's room is it too late to change my mind?

Lexie: on second thought I am gonna go hang out with Liv
Josh: nice try but you remember the deal you made with Jaden this morning
Lexie: but Jaden (whines)
Jaden: don't even try it lex you were on edge all day after what happened at the rink and it showed at the cafe you need to relax now
Lexie: but we were relaxing watching the movie and playing monopoly I wasn't even tense at all
Jaden: no I gave you a pass this morning and your not getting out of it this time, josh hold her while I make the bottle
Lexie: Jaden nooo
Jaden: not another word
Lexie: but
(Josh pops the pacifier into her mouth while Jaden walks out of the room)
Lexie: (looks at josh and glares at him) you know you can't just put this thing in my mouth every time you want me to stop talking (takes it out and throws it at him)
Josh: what's wrong with it now? You were fine with it last night and the night before
Lexie: the night before you forced me to have it and yesterday doesn't count like I said I wasn't in the right state of mind I was tired
Josh: hmm now come here
(Josh sits on the bed and pulls her to him and holds her and ten minutes later Jaden comes back in with the bottle)
Jaden: alright lex I am gonna give you a chance to do it by yourself but if you don't then I will give it to you and I am not even kidding
(Jaden hands her the bottle and Lexie holds it and then throws it like she did in the morning but this time she starts laughing because Jaden gives her an annoyed look and goes to pick it up)
Josh: your really going to take advantage of this whole thing aren't you
Lexie: maybeeee
(Josh shakes his head and turns his LED lights to a light blue and Jaden gets on the bed and puts the bottle to her mouth but she refuses to open it)
Jaden: Lexie Marie open your mouth
Lexie: hmm (shakes her head)
Jaden: don't make me have to force it in your mouth
Lexie's pov
I looked at Jaden in the eyes daring him to put that bottle in my mouth and when he saw it wasn't going In he looked at josh and gave him this look and he nods his head. I swear those two can communicate telepathically and understand each other because next thing I know josh started tickling me and I gasped and Jaden put the bottle in my mouth but that's fine he can just hold It till his arm gets tired because the only way that milk is gonna disappear is by me sucking on it and that's just not going to happen.

Jaden: josh turn the lights down a little
Josh: okay
(Josh turns down the brightness of the blue but is still holding Lexie and Jaden's holding the bottle and starts singing)
Lexie's pov
No no no ugh I hate you Jaden, I hate you and I hate you why do you have to use your stupid soothing voice as a weapon. I felt him start stroking my hair and kept singing while josh held me in a protective grip and I looked up at him and let myself get distracted by his chain necklace and the rings on his fingers and started playing with them until I found myself swallowing some of the milk that was in the bottle and by that point I knew I started sucking on it but I didn't care I just wanted to sleep and the last thing I remember was closing my eyes.

(Jaden pulls the bottle out of her mouth and sees she drank a quarter of the 7 ounce bottle)
Josh: I am calling it progress
Jaden: yeah i guess I would say the same she was stubborn but I think she's always going to be stubborn until she just accepts it
Josh: that's if she ever accepts it
Jaden: she will she just won't want to admit it, where's the pacifier?
Josh: I put it on the nightstand because she threw it at me when you went to warm up the bottle (laughs)
Jaden: (laughs) of course she did, what's the plan for tomorrow?
Josh: my parents want all of us to get a Christmas tree
Jaden: sounds good then let's get some sleep
Josh: okay, I love you I haven't said that today (pecks his lips)
Jaden: me either it's okay though I love you too (gives him a kiss and josh turns the lights off for them to sleep)
