Jaden's pov
I heard the alarm from my phone go off and I groaned but still grabbed my phone and turned it off to see I got a text from Travis.

Travis: hey J are you planning on coming to the studio today to do some finishing touches on the album
Jaden: I can't today, I am going to find a therapist here in LA and see if I can book an appointment for lex
Travis: oh okay no problem don't worry then j take care of your sister
Jaden: thanks bro I'll go tomorrow though
Travis: alright sounds good

(Jaden puts his phone down and closes his eyes again but minutes later Josh's phone starts going off)
Josh: ugh I don't want to get up
Lexie: shut it off (mumbles and snuggles close to Jaden)
Josh: sorry lex (grabs his phone and turns it off) I gotta get up
Jaden: what are your plans for today?
Josh: Bryce and I have a meeting about Ani Energy but after that I am free how about you?
Jaden: I am gonna try and book lex for therapy
Josh: do you want me to go with you?
Jaden: you don't have too
Josh: I know that but do you want me to?
Jaden: I'd appreciate it, but if your busy then I could ask griffin or one of the other guys
Josh: no it's fine just make the appointment for the afternoon I'll be back by twelve
Jaden: okay sounds good
Lexie: no therapy (says half asleep)
Jaden: (sighs) yeah lex the guys and I talked and we agreed that therapy is gone be the best thing right now
Lexie: no I don't want to go
Josh: sorry bud but you don't have a choice (kisses her forehead and gets off the bed and walks to the bathroom)
Lexie: Jaden please don't make me (whines)
Jaden: sorry baby girl but your going end of discussion
Lexie's pov
I opened my eyes fully and glares at Jaden because I really didn't want to go to therapy, he tried to hug me but I pulled away and got off the bed and walked out of the room without saying a word and I could hear Jaden sigh but I don't care because I don't want to go to therapy. I walked into my room and grabbed my bag and grabbed my vape pen and walked over to my balcony and sat down on the chair and took a few hits. I let the strawberry watermelon sit in my mouth for a bit so I could taste the flavor and then I breathed it out and felt a little more relaxed then before. Now I know that vaping when I first wake up probably isn't the smartest thing to do but I stopped caring a while ago, I took a few more hits and with each one I felt a little bit better and put the pen in my bag in a hidden zipper where no one would think to look. After hitting the vape I walked downstairs and saw Blake and Kio sitting in the kitchen drinking protein shakes because now that we are back in LA it's back to business as usual, thankfully I don't have class till tomorrow so I am just going to chill.

Kio: what do you want to eat lex? You want to try the protein shake?
Lexie: ew no thanks
Blake: okay well you do have to eat something
Lexie: I am not hungry yet though I just woke up
Blake: fine in an hour your eating something though
Lexie: (rolls her eyes) yes sir
(Griffin, josh and Bryce walk into the kitchen)
Griffin: what's with the attitude this early in the morning?
Josh: she doesn't want to go to therapy later today
Bryce: it might actually help Lexie
Lexie: guess what? I don't give a fuck
Griffin: alright that's enough don't take your frustration out on everyone else unless you want to talk about it
Lexie: no I don't want to talk about it not to you guys and certainly not to a fucking therapist
(Lexie walks out of the kitchen and to the backyard just as Quinton, Noah and Jaden walk down)
Quinton: what did I miss?
Blake: Lexie and her attitude nothing new
Quinton: I'll go try and talk to her
Noah: good luck with that
(Quinton walks out to the backyard to see Lexie throwing pebbles over the fence)
Quinton: hey sis
Lexie: Quinton if your here to talk to me about you know what then just go back inside
Quinton: what if I just want to hangout here with you for a bit?
Lexie: why... you and I hardly ever hang out with each other
Quinton: exactly
Lexie: sure you want throw pebbles with me
Quinton: (laughs) okay
Lexie: (picks up a pebble and throws it) how are things with Cynthia?
Quinton: fine I guess
Lexie: you guess?
Quinton: I don't know I mean I love her but we argue too
Lexie: doesn't every couple argue though?
Quinton: yeah but there should be a balance you know too much fighting isn't healthy but not fighting isn't healthy either so I guess I am trying to find the balance between that
Lexie: that makes sense... I didn't have that with Jake
Quinton: what else happened in that relationship Lexie?
Lexie: (throws a pebble) I don't want to talk about it
Quinton: oh come on I opened up to you now it's your turn
Lexie: fine my favorite color is purple, my favorite animal is a cat but I love dogs too, my favorite movie is After and my favorite show is secret life of an American teenager
Quinton: isn't that like an old show?
Lexie: yeah but let's be honest early 2000s had the best tv shows
Quinton: true
Lexie: your turn
Quinton: what?
Lexie: favorite food?
Quinton: southern obviously you?
Lexie: Italian, pasta all the way
Scene change
Bryce: yo josh you ready to go?
Josh: yeah later guys
Boys: later
(Jaden pulls out his laptop and starts researching therapists in LA)
Griffin: what about that one she has a lot of reviews and has five stars (points at the screen)
Jaden: Callie and Jude's therapy center for the youth, wouldn't hurt to call
Noah: I think you should the sooner she gets in the better and don't forget she needs to be tested for ADHD
Jaden: do you think they would test her here?
Blake: call and find out (finishes his protein shake) Noah, Griffin are you working out this morning?
Noah: yeah let's go
Griffin: I am gonna stay with Jae and help him look
Noah: okay
Kio: (looks at his phone) Indiana's here so i am out
Jaden: you filming today?
Kio: yeah
Jaden: alright have fun
Kio: thanks, later guys
Guys: later
(Kio leaves the house and the boys go outside)
Scene change
Noah: Lexie you want to workout with us today?
Quinton: I am in
Lexie's pov
I thought about it and I figured I have to lose the weight somehow so I decided why not. I told them yes and walked up to my room and threw on a sports bra and a pair of shorts and walked back downstairs to see Jaden and griffin at the counter on the computer.

Jaden: did you eat something lex?
Lexie: yeah and now I am gonna work out with the guys can I have my phone to listen to music?
Jaden: yeah it's in my room in the drawer of the nightstand
Lexie: okay
(She goes upstairs, grabs the phone and walks back downstairs and walks outside)
Noah: stretch first so you don't pull anything
Lexie: okay
Lexie's pov
I plugged in my headphones and started doing neck rolls and then rolled my shoulders and started stretching and once I felt stretched enough I started alternating between jumping jacks and squats. I did five sets of fifteen and by the end of it I was sweating, then I did a few laps around the backyard and when I felt like my body was warm enough I walked back to the boys and Blake spotted me while I tried to lift some of the weight. My arms started shaking, my muscles were burning and my heart was racing but I knew I couldn't stop so I kept going and an hour later the boys were done but I was doing ten sets of twenty sit ups. I was in my own bubble just breathing and focusing on losing my weight that I didn't stop until I felt someone pull my headphones out of my ear.

Lexie: hey what was that for?
Noah: you've been going at it for two hours and haven't stopped let alone drank water that's enough for today
Lexie: no way I still need to do push ups
Noah: that's enough lex it's too much for your body to handle all at once now let's go inside
Lexie: please let me just do ten push ups and I'll stop
Noah: (sighs) okay
Lexie: thanks
Scene change
(Jaden is in the kitchen calling the therapy center)
Phone convo
Callie: hi this is Callie foster speaking from Callie and Jude's therapy center for the youth how may I help you?
Jaden: hi my name is Jaden Hossler and I am calling because I came across your website and reviews and I have a younger sister that needs a therapist
Callie: okay what's her name and how old is she?
Jaden: Lexie Hossler and she's fifteen
Callie: okay I have an opening for two o clock does that work for you?
Jaden: yeah that's fine and I have a question do you guys test kids for ADHD?
Callie: yeah we actually have a phycologist here at the center but I am going to have to transfer you to him is that alright?
Jaden: yeah that's fine
(Callie transfers him to another room)
?: hi this is Jesus Foster I work in the psychology department for the center how may I help you?
Jaden: yeah first random question are you guys a family business?
Jesus: (laughs) yeah Callie is my sister
Jaden: that's really cool and second I was wondering if we could test my sister for ADD or ADHD, her homeschool teacher is recommending it
Jesus: yeah that won't be a problem what time are you coming it?
Jaden: two
Jesus: okay so usually Callie's appointments are at least an hour so does three o clock work for you?
Jaden: yeah we are already gonna be there so might as well do it then
Jesus: okay I'll write you down and what did you say your name was again?
Jaden: Jaden hossler and my sister is Lexie Hossler
Jesus: okay your all set I'll see you both at three
Jaden: thank you so much
Jesus: no problem bye
Jaden: bye

(Jaden puts his phone down just as Lexie is walking inside the house, her face all red and sweaty)
Griffin: damn how hard did you work out?
Lexie: let's just say if this body is gonna be in shape I am gonna have to start working out more
Jaden: wait a minute your not doing this for any other reason then to stay healthy right?
Lexie: yeah
Blake: then you need to know not to push yourself like you did today, one hour would have been fine and five sets of ten for whatever exercise you were doing would have been more then enough
(Lexie shrugs her shoulders and drinks water)
Lexie: I am gonna go shower
Jaden: okay and I made your appointment for two so we have to be out of here by one thirty
Lexie: ugh fuck off with that stupid therapy already I am not going
Jaden: yes you are even if I have to drag you
Lexie: then looks like your going to have to drag me (walks upstairs to her room)
Griffin: this isn't going to be easy is it?
Jaden: it's Lexie when is something ever easy with her (sighs)
Noah: good point
Lexie's pov
I took off my sports bra and shorts and turned the water knob to a cool setting since my body still felt hot from being outside. I stepped inside and let the water soothe my aching muscles and washed my hair and eventually my body, wrapped a towel around me and then blow dried my hair and walked to the closet. Now what outfit is going to piss ofc Jaden? I browsed my closet and eventually found a black bungee lace up tube top with blue high waisted shorts and sneakers and filmed some r rated tik toks to say the least and walked downstairs just as the door was opening and Bryce and Josh walked inside.

Bryce: what the fuck are you wearing?!?!
Lexie: language Bryce isn't that what you would have told me?
Bryce: I don't care what in god's name do you think you are wearing!?!?
Lexie: clothes...
josh: that's way to revealing go upstairs and change right now
Lexie: hmm let me think no (walks into the kitchen where the rest of the boys are and Jaden's scrolling through his phone)
Noah: absolutely not young lady no way in hell are you wearing that top
Griffin: yeah and when you take it off throw it out while your at it because no way in hell are you wearing that ever again
Lexie: it's my body and my style I can wear what I want
Blake: alright Lexie enough is enough I know your doing all this because you don't want to go to therapy but all it's doing is pissing us off and getting you into trouble
(Jaden finally looks up from his phone and looks at Lexie and his eyes widen)
Jaden: no way in hell are you stepping out of this house dressed in that
Lexie: (smirks) yeah that was kind of the point duh
Josh: what time did you make the appointment for Jaden?
Jaden: two but we have to leave by one thirty and it's one now so Lexie you have thirty minutes to go change into something decent
Lexie: let me think (gasps) no
Noah: Lexie now!
Lexie: ooo scary (shakes her head)
Noah: Lexie I am going to give you to the count of three to listen to Jaden and go change or you won't like the outcome
Lexie: how about I start the countdown then because I am not changing and there's no way in hell I am going to therapy (crosses her arms)
Griffin: Lexie Marie this is your final warning go change now and when you get back your attitude better be gone
Lexie: how about this I'll go change if you cancel the therapy appointment
Jaden: no you are not in a position to be making any sort of demands we are the adults and we are telling you do something now do it
Lexie: nope
Noah: your so stubborn you know that (walks over to her and carries her upstairs to her room and pulls her over his lap)
Lexie: Noah, put me down!! This isn't fair!!
Noah: I think it's more then fair we gave you multiple chances to change your outfit and attitude and you still wouldn't listen
Lexie: it's because I don't want to go to fucking therapy

Noah: that was for the language and I understand that you don't want to go but it's going to be better for you in the long run and it doesn't give you the right to lash out at everyone either and give us an attitude that was uncalled for we are just trying to do what's best for you
Lexie: ugh but
Noah: no buts now I am going to start and then I want you to change and come downstairs so you can leave with josh and Jaden understand?
Lexie: fine

Noah: are you gonna listen from now on? Because I hate punishing you
Lexie: yeah
Noah: and I don't want to hear you have the therapist a hard time
Lexie: okay
Noah: good (kisses her forehead) come downstairs when your done okay?
Lexie: okay
Lexie's pov
Noah left my room and I walked over to my closet and pulled out a pair of navy patterned sweatpants with a pink lace crop top instead, grabbed my vape pen and walked to my balcony to take a few hits.

A few minutes later
Jaden: LEXIE GET DOWN HERE IT'S TIME TO GO!!!
(Lexie groans but puts the vape pen back in her bag, grabs her phone and headphones and walks downstairs to see josh and Jaden standing by the front door)
Bryce: good luck princess (hugs her)
Lexie: I don't want to go (mumbles)
Bryce: I know but sometimes the things we don't want can actually help us
Lexie: I guess
Josh: come on let's go bud
Lexie's pov
Noah said not to give them attitude so maybe I'll just stay quiet and just not say anything which isn't really giving attitude it's just staying quiet since I don't want to talk to them since they are forcing me into this thing. So instead I just shrugged my shoulders and walked out the door with the boys following behind me, we got in Jaden's car who sat in the drivers seat with josh in the passenger and me in the back. I just plugged my headphones in because I wanted to be in my own personal bubble right now, after driving for a little while we pulled up to this white building that had colorful patters on it and said "Callie And Jude's Therapy Center for the youth" I rolled my eyes and glared at the building until I heard Jaden call me so I could start walking. When we got inside josh and I went to sit in the chairs while Jaden had to fill out some paperwork.

Josh: you know it's okay to be nervous right?
(Lexie stays quiet)
Josh: come on lex don't be like that it's me you can talk to me
(Lexie still stays quiet and crosses her arms so josh takes her headphones out but she just keeps looking at her phone)
Josh: damn not even one reaction so are you just going to be giving us the silent treatment then?
(Lexie shrugs her shoulders just as Jaden is walking back)
Jaden: we should be called in a few minutes the lady at the desk said Callie will talk to lex alone first and then call us in
Josh: okay but buddy's not talking
Jaden: (sighs) Lexie I know you don't want to be here but I need you to at least try can you do that for me please?
(Lexie shrugs her shoulders)
Jaden: so this is what you decided? Your going to give us the silent treatment for taking you to therapy
(Lexie shrugs her shoulders and Jaden is about to say something but her name gets called)
?: Lexie Hossler
Josh: just try for us okay?
(Lexie stands up and walks away)
?: hi Lexie my name is Mariana and I am just gonna take you to Callie's room she's the therapist okay?
Lexie: fine whatever
(Mariana walks with Lexie to a room and knocks on the door)
Mariana: Lexie hossler is here Callie
Callie: great thanks Mariana you can close the door (smiles)
Mariana: okay good luck Lexie (smiles and closes the door)
Callie: (smiles) hi Lexie I am Callie it's nice to meet you
Lexie: hi I wish I could say the same but honestly I am only here because my brother and his friend are forcing me to
Callie: and why do you think they are forcing you?
Lexie: because they think I need to talk to someone about my problems but I don't really I am fine and this is gonna just be a waste of time for the both of us
Callie: well how about you start by telling me what your brother thinks the problems are?
Lexie: no because I don't want to talk about them like I said I am fine really
Callie: you know a lot of people like to say they are fine because they don't want to admit how they really feel
Lexie: well I am not doing that
Callie: hmm okay well then how about you just tell me a little bit about yourself so we can get to know each other
Lexie: no thanks
Callie: how about I start by telling you about myself and then you can jump in whenever you want
Lexie: you can but you would be wasting your breath
Callie: that's okay maybe you'll feel more comfortable when you know a bit more about me because I know how scary it is to open up to a stranger
Lexie: do you really?
Callie: yeah I grew up in the foster system and was in it for multiple years a lot of people betrayed my trust and I shut people out or I would run away from my problems until one day I got fostered by these two woman that changed my life and I decided to open up this place with my brothers and sister to help others who feel like they just need someone by their side
Lexie: that's touching it really is and I am glad that you were able to find the greater purpose or whatever but I am not about to talk about my problems
Callie: would you feel more comfortable if I i brought your bother and his friend in the room
Lexie: so what you want I am still not gonna talk
Callie: okay I'll have them come in
(Callie tells Mariana to let Jaden and josh in the room and a few minutes later they are all sitting on the couch)
Callie: so Lexie hasn't really wanted to share what's been going on which is understandable it's her first time but I want to hear from you guys a little bit about what you've noticed about her behavior
Jaden: well for starters she has these nightmares from one of her previous relationships that was abusive, she has an eating disorder but from what I have been told she's been good but that's because the boys and I are on top of her for it, she's pretty clingy for her age and doesn't do well when one of us are gone for long periods of time, she has anxiety attacks every once in a while but only when she's triggered and there's just been a lot of change in her life these past couple of weeks and I think it would be good for her to talk about it
Lexie: (scoffs) yeah right
Callie: okay well I don't know to what extent these nightmares are or the relationship she was in but it does seem like PTSD to a certain extent and definitely a form of separation anxiety is involved I would love to help her overcome it and the more she becomes open the more I can do that so I think therapy at least three times a week would be good for her and maybe get her a dog for her anxiety or talk to Jesus about what meds she can be put on
Josh: would you say meds Is required only because we wanted to try and take a more natural approach with it
Callie: yeah of course I'll be giving her techniques to cope but until then I think a low dosage for her ptsd would help with the separation anxiety
Jaden: okay sounds good thank you so much Callie and I am sorry if Lexie gave you a hard time
Callie: don't worry about I understand being In her position and I look forward to getting to know her more
Lexie: can't say the same
(Josh gently smacks the back of her head)
Lexie: ow (glares at him)
Josh: don't be rude
Lexie: fine I am sorry
Callie: (smiles) it's okay I know this isn't easy
Lexie's pov
Jaden said bye to Callie one more time before walk ikr back to the waiting room to be called to see this Jesus guy. I really didn't want to be here anymore I just want to go home and curl under the covers and sleep but no of course that doesn't happen and I am stuck here. A few minutes of sitting in the chair later we got called once again but this time the boys came with me.

Jesus: hi my names Jesus you must be Lexie right?
Lexie: hmm
Jesus: well it's nice to meet you now I hear that you want to get tested for ADD or ADHD as I right?
Lexie: my stupid brother and stupid teacher want me tested
Jaden: (sighs and whispers in her ear) keep it up Lexie and you will be in trouble again when we get home
Jesus: don't worry Lexie you have nothing to worry about okay? I am just going to ask you a couple questions
Lexie: okay...
Jesus: do you find yourself spacing out a lot whether it's during school or in general
Lexie: hmm
Josh: these are yes or no answers give him a clear one Lexie
Lexie: fine yeah
Jesus: okay do you have a hard time sitting still or forgetting to do things when people ask you?
Lexie: forgetting or choosing not to?
Jesus: forgetting and choosing are different forgetting is when you don't do it on purpose
Lexie: oh then no I just choose not to do it sometimes
Jesus: do you have a hard time sitting still like bouncing your leg or fidgeting with your fingers?
(Lexie shrugs her shoulders)
Jaden: she plays with her fingers a lot
Jesus: okay so I am gonna say it's a mild case of ADHD she'll most likely grow out of it as she gets older but it wouldn't hurt to prescribe her something for school hours
Jaden: okay I think that's a good idea
Jesus: okay and Callie informed me that she has ptsd and separation anxiety do you want me to give you something for that too?
Lexie: oh yeah just give a fifteen year old a bunch or pills because that's what you do for a living right?
Josh: enough is enough Lexie!
Lexie: what? Just stating facts
Jesus: we can start her on a very low dosage of course same with the ADHD meds
Jaden: yeah let's do that because I don't want her on a high dosages yet
Jesus: okay so here are the prescriptions (writes them down) if you catch her having any of the side effects take her off them and give me a call
Josh: okay thank you so much
Jesus: of course bye Lexie
Lexie: bye
Jaden: let's go now
Lexie's pov
We walked out of the center and I could tell the boys were mad because they didn't speak to me the entire car ride until we pulled up to the house. I quickly got out of the car and walked inside with Jaden and josh following.

Jaden: get upstairs now and wait for me
(Lexie doesn't say a thing and walks upstairs)
Kio: I am guessing the appointment didn't go so well
Josh: oh yeah If you count Lexie not talking at all and giving attitude every chance she got good then it went great (says sarcastically)
Griffin: damn when's her next appointment?
Jaden: Thursday after class with Rafy
Blake: that's going to be fun
Jaden: hmm not looking forward to it anyway I am gonna go upstairs and deal with our little troublemaker
(He walks upstairs to see Lexie sitting outside to see Lexie sitting on her chair in the balcony and she hears him so she quickly turns around)
Lexie: what do you want?
Jaden: my adorable little sister who doesn't have an attitude
Lexie: too bad shouldn't have taken me to therapy after I said I didn't want to go
Jaden: (sighs) why can't you see I am doing this for you? I am trying to help you lex and I would like for you to meet me halfway so this can actually work it's not gonna be fun for either one of us if I have to drag you to therapy every time only to punish you because you couldn't stop giving an attitude (crosses his arms)
(Lexie doesn't say anything so Jaden walks over to her, picks her up and sits on her bed pulling her over his lap)
Lexie: fine Jaden I'll behave next time we go to therapy okay just don't punish me
Jaden: oh so now is when your ready to let go of the attitude, I am sorry Lexie but I gave you more then enough chances today to stop and you still didn't listen and Thursday I expect you to apologize for Callie for your behavior understand?
Lexie: yeah I guess
Jaden: okay I am gonna start now

Lexie: I am sorry Jaden
Jaden: it's okay but I want you to go downstairs and apologize to the rest of the boys and I don't want to have to keep doing this every time you have therapy
Lexie: how about this, I try but I make no promises
Jaden: Lexie Marie
Lexie: fine I won't do it again
Jaden: thank you now let's go downstairs
Lexie: carry me
Jaden: (playfully rolls his eyes) you act like an annoying teenager one minute and a child the next (picks her up and carries her downstairs to where the guys are downstairs playing ping pong)
Lexie: I am sorry for my attitude today guys
Josh: it's okay bud I know you didn't mean to you were just upset but that doesn't make it okay got it?
Lexie: yeah
Bryce: good
Lexie's pov
The rest of the day we just chilled at the house, I played a few rounds of ping pong with the boys. For lunch griffin made pasta and dinner was postmates and around eleven we called it a night and I went to bed with Jaden and josh in their room.
