Bryce's pov
I woke up hearing my phone going off, I groaned and rolled over to grab it otherwise it wasn't going to stop ringing and then I saw it was Taylor calling me so I answered.

Bryce: is there a reason you are calling me at ten in the morning Taylor?
Taylor: yeah I just wanted to know if you had everything ready to go to Texas for the triller sway, compound hype event
Bryce: the what?
Taylor: you know the event triller is hosting with all three houses this weekend
Bryce: your speaking Chinese Taylor I had no idea triller was doing an event
Taylor: did josh not tell you?
Bryce: it must have slipped his mind let me get up and get ready I'll talk to you later
Taylor: alright text me when your on your way to the jet
Bryce: yeah later bro

Bryce's pov
I put my phone down and laid my head on the pillow for a second thinking about my schedule I had the podcast with pump yesterday, josh and I had a meeting with Ani on Wednesday so where the fuck was this triller event on my schedule? And Taylor said it was the sway house as in all of us are supposed to go to Texas? Ugh I got out of bed and walked downstairs grabbing the air horn because that was going to be the quickest way to get everyone down here.

Bryce: FAMILY MEETING IN THE LIVING ROOM!!!
(One by one each of the boys start walking downstairs the last being josh and Jaden who is carrying a half asleep Lexie still)
Griffin: dude you better have a legit reason for waking up the whole damn house
Jaden: seriously Lexie had two nightmares again last night I wanted her to get some sleep
Bryce: yeah well if your boyfriend told us that triller was going to have an event with sway, compound and hype earlier then I wouldn't have had to call a meeting so early
Josh: what did you just say?
Blake: yeah your going to have to repeat that I am still half asleep bro
Bryce: Texas event, triller with all three houses today and tomorrow apparently
Griffin: josh did you know about this?
Josh: no I had no idea
Quinton: how is that possible your CEO of the company
Noah: are we going to be able to bring Lexie this time?
Jaden: we better because I am not leaving her again I don't care what triller has to say about it
Josh: I am going to give them a call I'll be right back (walks out of the living room and goes to the office)
Josh's pov
I looked at the calendar where we have all our events and business calls scheduled to double check that there was nothing that said Texas event with triller and there was none so that's when I pulled out my phone and decided to call triller.

?: hi this is Charlotte from triller company speaking how may I help you?
Josh: hey Charlotte it's josh Richards can I speak to Corey
Charlotte: he's in a meeting right now can I take a message?
Josh: not really it's kind of important
Charlotte: okay give me a few minutes he should be out of his meeting in five
Josh: okay
Ten minutes later
?: josh I was just about to call you
Josh: hey Corey was it to tell me that sway is expected to go to Texas this afternoon for an event?
Corey: yeah how did you know?
Josh: I heard from one of my other friends why wasn't I informed of this sooner?
Corey: because it happened an hour ago I was checking my emails and saw that this boxing match wanted to sponsor us in Texas along with the compound house and hype and I heard through the grapevine you and hype are good now so it's a good power move to have all three houses there
Josh: okay but that still doesn't tell me why I wasn't told about it first and we talked about this if we were going to go to events we were going to have meetings about them so it wasn't last minute like last time
Corey: I know but this is a huge opportunity we can't pass it up
Josh: alright well I would appreciate it if next time a last minute event happens you call me first before informing anyone else because I am still on the board of directors Corey I should have known before any of the other creators
Corey: I know but we wanted to make sure the other houses were in first because you and sway have a contract so regardless you would need to be there
Josh: okay and just so there isn't any problems like last time Lexie can come with us right?
Corey: (sighs) josh you know how we feel about her being associated with the company, she's only fifteen
Josh: and Quinton's seventeen what's your point?
Corey: he's a sway member
Josh: so your saying that in order for Lexie to come to events with us she has to be considered a legitimate sway member? even though she lives with us
Corey: yeah but even if you did make her a legitimate sway member she would need to create content on social media she wouldn't be able to come this time
Josh: listen Corey we have a daughter she should be allowed to come with us where ever we go and If she's not going to be allowed then you need to stop agreeing to these last minute events because we need to find someone to stay with her now not only that but do you know how bad it looks when the boys come to me about something I have no idea about even though I have a higher status than them on the company!!
Corey: I am sorry for the inconvenience josh and i'll make sure that next time you'll be the first person I call but my decision still stands and remember all of the boys have a contract so I expect them all to be there now I have another meeting to get to but I'll talk to you when you guys land in Texas
(Corey hangs up the phone and josh takes a deep breath and calls Micheal)

Micheal: hey josh what's up?
Josh: is there anyway I can get out of the triller company
Michael: why? Did something happen?
Josh: Corey decided to once again schedule a last minute event and then had the audacity to say we can't bring Lexie! Not only that but I was the last to know about it!! Compound and hype found out before I did, I am CEO of the company I should have some type of say in what events we do and don't go too and I should have a say about bringing Lexie with us!
Micheal: I understand your frustration josh but you did sign a three year contract and Corey is the owner I don't know if there's anything we can do I can try and talk to him about you being informed so that it doesn't happen last minute but other than that our hands are tied
Josh: this is bull shit because guess what now I am going to have to tell my boyfriend who has barely let her out of his sight since the accident that once again we can't bring Lexie who is also having nightmares twice a night now which is the opposite of progress and has been extremely clingy these past couple of days
Michael: (takes a deep breath) I know that it sucks josh and I understand that Lexie is your priority especially with everything she has going on which sucks but you guys do have jobs too and if you want to provide for Lexie you have to do what needs to get done too
Josh: ugh I know it's just frustrating and I don't see Corey's perspective about Lexie at all but whatever he's the owner so I guess I have to deal with it until my contract is up but when is Jaden's contract with them over?
Micheal: I think he only signed for a year because we assumed he was going to tour once the album came out right
Josh: yeah I just want to make sure he doesn't re sign because if Corey doesn't change his mind at some point he can stay with her
Micheal: yeah
Josh: anyways I better go tell the boys are you and Rafy coming to Texas?
Michael: yeah I'll start packing and call the private plane people
Josh: alright bye Michael
Michael: bye

(Josh puts his phone down and sits down on the chair and puts his head in his hands when the door opens and he feels arms massaging his shoulders and he turned around to see Jaden)
Josh: hey babe
Jaden: hey given your state I am guessing the calls didn't go so well
Josh: I let the Miami thing slide because we had a meeting literally right after about not doing anymore last minute events unless it was here in LA what part of that did Corey not understand, where's lex?
Jaden: clinging onto Bryce
Josh: you mean sitting next to?
Jaden: no I mean clinging she wouldn't let go of me until Bryce pried her off me so I could talk to you
Josh: I really don't feel comfortable leaving her.. who is she even going to stay with everyone's coming with us
Jaden: I could ask Kells if she can stay with him, Meg and Cassie
Josh: why don't you sound worried?
Jaden: because your the one worried so someone has to stay level headed and I guess that's me right now
Josh: how do you think she's going to feel staying with Kells?
Jaden: she's not going to like it but we don't really have a choice right now
Josh: I am sorry babe
Jaden: why are you apologizing you have nothing to say sorry for
Josh: I should have at least known about it so we could prepare everyone earlier
Jaden: that's not your fault okay? Don't blame yourself (pecks him on the lips) now come on let's go tell lex
Josh: I am not looking forward to that
(The boys walk out of the office and go back down to the living room to see Lexie currently fisting Bryce's shirt but looks up and sees Jaden)
Lexie: Bryce put me down I want Jaden
Bryce: okay I see how it is (jokes)
(Bryce let's go of Lexie and she walks over to Jaden who picks her up and sits her on the couch with him)
Griffin: so what's the final decision
Josh: we have to go to Texas and Lexie is probably going to stay with Kells
Lexie: what!? No I don't want to stay with him
Jaden: (sighs and runs his fingers through her hair) I know princess but we really don't have a choice and it's only for two days you'll be okay I promise
Lexie: b but I d d don't k know h h him t that w well... w what I If h h he hurts me (looks down at the floor)
Jaden: hey look at me (tilts her chin up) you know Kells and you've been spending more time with him these past couple of days you know he would never hurt you
Lexie: y y yeah b but your t there w with me
Jaden: you know I would never leave you with someone I don't trust right?
Lexie: yeah
Jaden: and I trust Kells with everything in me he's like my older brother and he loves you already so just trust me okay?
Lexie: I still don't want you to leave (wraps her arms around him and lays her head on his chest)
Jaden: I am sorry princess I know i haven't been around as much but once the album's officially out maybe we can all got for a vacation somewhere
Lexie: I don't want to go on a vacation I just want to be with you guys
Jaden's pov
My heart broke after Lexie said that because I know how scared she's been and I hate having to leave her. I don't know why but ever since the accident she's been way more clingy, her little space age has regressed more, she's been having more nightmares it's like instead of progressing and moving forward we are going backwards and it's worse this time around. I just rubbed her back in circles because I didn't really know what else to do to try and calm her down. We sat on the couches talking when I realized I needed to call Kells.

Jaden: hey lex why don't you go get something to eat we pretty much skipped breakfast
Lexie: not hungry
Jaden: can you eat just a little something
Noah: Come on lex why don't you come with me and we look in the pantry
Jaden: thanks Noah
(Noah walks over to Lexie who holds tighter onto Jaden)
Lexie: n n no I don't want to eat I want to stay with Jaden
Jaden: I need to call Kells and then I'll go meet you in the kitchen okay?
Lexie: no
Noah: come on Lexie let's go you need to eat (pries her off of Jaden and takes her to the kitchen)
Jaden: I'll be right back I am going to call Kells
Josh: okay I am going to start packing
Jaden: okay
(Jaden walks out of the living room and calls Kells)

Kells: hey bro what's up?
Jaden: hey I have a favor to ask you
Kells: sure tell me
Jaden: I have to go to this social media influencer event today and tomorrow so do you mind looking after Lexie?
Kells: yeah no problem and I am sure Megan and Cassie would be okay with it too
Jaden: thanks I didn't know who else to call because all our friends are expected to be at this event and I wasn't about to leave lex with a nanny or stranger for two days
Kells: yeah I understand I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving Cassie with anyone but Megan, Travis, Rocco or you, how is Lexie's leg doing?
Jaden: better she can walk without it hurting but she's been falling into little space more recently I don't know if she will with you guys though
Kells: why not?
Jaden: she'll only slip into little space if she's comfortable enough no offense or anything but this is the first time I am leaving lex with you
Kells: no offense taken what do I do if she goes into little space?
Jaden: if she's five to six then Cassie can play with her I am sure if she's one, two or three she's fussy and irritable so you can FaceTime me or give her a bottle and pacifier until she calms down
Kells: has she regressed to one?
Jaden: yeah she did last night after a nightmare we weren't sure exactly how old she was but she couldn't really form words and she played with my rings until she fell asleep so we are assuming it was one
Kells: okay thanks for the heads up when are you bringing her?
Jaden: in like an hour?
Kells: okay sounds good I'll tell Megan
Jaden: alright thanks bro
Kells: no problem

(Jaden puts his phone in his pocket and sees Lexie on the counter eating cereal with Noah scrolling on his phone)
Noah: what did Kells say?
Jaden: he said she can stay with him
Noah: alright I am going to go pack
Them: okay
Lexie's pov
Noah went upstairs and I just kind of played with my spoon not wanting to eat the cereal. I wasn't hungry... I was too scared to be hungry my nightmare just kept playing over and over again I was in the car with Bryce and the boys when this car came speeding to us and crashed into us, the boys past out from the impact and I was dizzy but saw someone walk up to me and I saw Jake he grabbed me and that's when I screamed and each night it felt more and more realistic. I haven't told the boys about the dream because they already worry about me enough. I played around with my cereal and was bouncing my leg up and down until I felt Jaden put a hand on my knee and I looked up.

Jaden: lex when was the last time you took your anxiety pill?
Lexie: I don't know it's been a couple of days
Jaden: baby you know what happens when you skip them
(He gets off the chair and walks over to the cupboard and pulls out the bottle of pills and hands her one)
Lexie: I don't want to take one
Jaden: please lex if we were going to be at home today I would just get you to be little but I know you aren't going to want to be little with Kells so can you take it
Lexie: fine (takes the pill and swallows it)
Jaden: thank you (kisses the top of her head) now go pack so we can leave
Lexie's pov
I walked upstairs to my room and looked through my drawers to see if I had a vape pen anywhere and I was out of luck then I looked through every single one of my bags hoping I had one in a pocket somewhere but then again no luck. Wait a minute josh and Bryce have vape pens I don't know where they keep them considering they don't vape in front of me saying "they don't want to be hypocrites saying don't vape but then do it in front of you" so they do it whenever I am not around. I knew that if I was going to stay people I didn't really know that I was going to be on edge and no way am I taking another anxiety pill when I could have something else in my system that could get me at least buzzed. I pulled out my pink duffel bag and quickly packed a few outfits just for two days and then opened Bryce's door and looked over my shoulder then looked into the room to make sure the coast was clear.

Lexie: (jumps and turns around) Q you scared me! (Hits his shoulder)
Quinton: you do realize you don't hit hard right
Lexie: oh hush
Quinton: anyways back to my question what are you up to?
Lexie: nothing
Quinton: really? And that's why your peering over your shoulder suspiciously
Lexie: fine I am pranking Bryce because I figured why not I am bored and it's funny
Quinton: okay just don't get killed I am going to go pack (walks into his room)
Lexie's pov
Thank god he bought that I walked into Bryce's room and saw it was empty and I started looking through his drawers. The first drawer was part animal Merch typical, second drawer were just a bunch of clothes, the third one.. let's just say I quickly shut the third one after seeing a pair of pink fluffy handcuffs and threw up in my mouth a little bit. I looked in the last drawer and I found three different vape pens I grabbed the pink lemonade one and quickly put it in my pocket when I heard foot steps coming into the room. Shit shit shit I quickly got under his bed and hoped I wasn't going to get caught.

(Bryce walks into the room on a FaceTime call with Addy)
Bryce: how's Florida baby?
Addy: it's good but I wish you could have came with me
Bryce: I know next time I promise
Addy: hey babe
Bryce: yeah?
Addy: who's under your bed?
Bryce: what are you talking about?
Addy: turn around I think you have a spy in your room (laughs)
(Bryce turns around and sees Lexie's pink cast sticking out from under the bed)
Bryce: hmm I wonder who that could be (gently pulls her out from under the bed and starts tickling her sides)
Lexie: okay okay I surrender I surrender (laughs) addy you blew my cover (whines)
Addy: sorry girly but if you want to hide from Bryce pick the closet he never goes in there
Bryce: nor true and what were you doing in my room lex?
Lexie: nothinggg
Bryce: hmm why don't I believe you?
Lexie: okay fine you caught me I was trying to prank you but it failed okay bye (quickly leaves the room)
Addy: is it just me or is she fifty percent teenager, fifty percent child (laughs)
Bryce: definitely accurate
Addy: alright baby I'll let you pack I love you
Bryce: I love you too

Lexie's pov
That was a close one as soon as I was back in my room I opened my duffle bag and put the pen underneath my clothes and grabbed my bag, phone and headphones and walked downstairs to see a majority of the boys already down there.

Anthony: you ready to go lex?
Lexie: I guess
Kio: you'll be just fine and you can always call us
Lexie: I know I am just going to miss you guys that's all
(Noah walks downstairs and pulls her in for a hug)
Noah: it's two days princess you can be a big girl for us right?
(Lexie shrugs her shoulders just as josh and Jaden walk down the stairs)
Griffin: alright is everyone ready to go?
Boys: yeah
Lexie's pov
We got in the triller van and I sat in between Jaden and josh and I was laying my head on Jaden's shoulder and holding onto his arm. I was looking out of the window and saw all the cars driving past us and then I thought about my dream and Instinctively gripped Jaden's arm tighter.

Jaden: baby you okay?
Lexie: hmm yeah
Josh: you sure you got a right grip there bud
Lexie: s s sorry (let's go of Jaden's arm)
Jaden: (sighs) are you sure your going to be okay Lexie? I won't go if you really don't want me too
(Lexie stays quiet for a minute and then talks)
Lexie: no you have too I don't want you to get in trouble or anything because of your contract... I'll be okay
Jaden's pov
I knew Lexie was lying to me when she said she was going to be okay and I knew josh knew she was lying too because he looked at me and we both knew she was just telling us what we wanted to hear because she didn't want to bother us not that she ever could be a bother but she feels like she is.

Josh: maybe I can talk to Corey and see if Jaden can come home earlier okay bud?
Lexie: n no you g guys have to work it's okay I'll be f fine I promise
Josh: (sighs) okay
Lexie's pov
We pulled up to Kells house and we all got out of the car and started walking up to the door and Jaden knocked on the door.

(Kells opens it with Cassie next to him)
Kells: hey guys (smiles) come on in
Jaden: hey bro (they do a hand shake and he looks down at Cassie) hey girly how are you?
Cassie: I am good (smiles)
Jaden: have you met my sister Lexie yet?
Cassie: no (looks at Lexie and smiles) hi
Lexie: (smiles) hi
Kells: come on in Megan's just cooking are you guys going to stay for lunch?
Jaden: we would but we gotta get to the airport thanks again Kells I appreciate it
Kells: yeah of course and don't worry we already have some fun stuff planned (looks at Cassie) you want to show lex the guest room?
Cassie: yeah come on (grabs Lexie's hand and they walk away)
Jaden: okay so before we leave there's just some stuff I want to give you (hands him the bottle of anxiety pills) only give these to her if you see her spacing out or bouncing her leg she already had one today so if you see she's triggered she should have her stress ball with her we don't want her taking more then one pill a day
Kells: okay and what if she goes into little space?
Josh: in the case that she does here's her carry on (hands him a bag) there's a bottle, pacifier and her stuffed animals in there I don't know if she's going to be little though to be honest
Griffin: yeah she'll only get little when she feels really comfortable
Kells: okay got it and don't worry she's going to be just fine I promise
Jaden: heard that before (looks at Bryce)
Bryce: hey I wasn't the one that promised shit
Jaden: hmm
Kells: don't worry Jaden I promise to look after her just like I would with Cassie
Jaden: I know
Blake: Lexie come say bye we are leaving!
(Lexie comes out with Cassie and gives each of the boys a hug but holds onto Jaden a little longer)
Lexie: I don't want you to go (mumbles)
Jaden: I know (whispers) but I promise I'll be back okay?
Lexie: p promise?
Jaden: yeah I love you
Lexie: I love you too
Josh: where's my hug (whines)
Lexie: come here pretzel (walks over to him and hugs him)
Josh: not funny but I love you
Lexie: I love you too
Lexie's pov
I didn't want to let go of Jaden or josh but I knew I had to so I took a deep breath and pulled away from them and they said bye to Kells and Megan one more time and started walking out the front door. I felt the tears threatening to come out of my eyes but I held them back, I didn't want to cry in front of them so I had to suck it up and just deal with it. Megan made fish for lunch and I had two pieces with a little bit of rice and then we walked out to the living room. Cassie wanted to play just dance and wanted me to jump in so I did because I couldn't find it in me to say no to her. We did a few rounds of just dance while Kells and Megan were just cuddling on the couch watching us dance. I lost count of how long we played but eventually it was dinner time and we just decided to order pizza. After dinner Kells took out the guitar and we had a jam session he even convinced me to sing forget me too and congratulated me for hitting the notes. Eventually it was the time I have been dreading... bed time and right as we were getting off the couch my phone started ringing and I saw Jaden was calling me.

Lexie: hey bubba
Jaden: hey baby how are you?
Lexie: I am good
Boys: hey Lexie!
Lexie: hi (laughs) are you in Texas yet?
Kio: yeah and it's absolute chaos
Taylor: hey Lexie!! (Grabs the phone)
Jaden: would you give me my phone (smack him upside the head and takes it) sorry princess
Lexie: it's okay where's Joshy?
Jaden: shot gunning with Bryce
Lexie: typical
Jaden: I just wanted to call and say goodnight... are you going to be okay?
Lexie: I don't know...
Jaden: just try and sleep and if you can't maybe get Megan to stay with you okay?
Megan: yeah I'd be happy to mama
Lexie: (gives a small smile) thanks Meg
Jaden: alright well I'll let you go but call me for anything okay?
Lexie: okay
(Lexie, Kells, Megan and Cassie all walk upstairs)
Kells: hey lex your brother told me about your nightmares so if you need anything don't hesitate to come to our room okay?
Lexie: okay thanks Kells
Kells: no problem
Megan: good night honey
Cassie: night lex
Lexie: goodnight guys
Lexie's pov
Kells shut the bedroom door so it was just me but thankfully there was a tv in the room and I had my phone with me. I looked outside to make sure no one was outside and the windows were locked then I closed the curtains, I didn't want to turn off the lights so I kept them on. I changed into my pajamas and crawled under the sheets and turned the tv on because I decided that i was just going to pull an all nighter. I can't have a nightmare If I don't sleep right? I was curled into a ball under the covers scrolling through Netflix and finally decided on Icarly since they finally added it. It was light, no drama and nothing scary but that didn't stop my thoughts from consuming my mind. God I haven't been in my head like I was today in so long it's these stupid nightmares I keep having and this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that jake's going to find me it's just a matter of time. Then I heard sometime outside hit my window and my breath hitched until I realized that it was just a tree hitting the window from the wind outside. But what if... no Lexie there are no what if's your safe your protected he's not going to fine me. But wait I am not protected because I don't have the boys with me... I tried to stop thinking but I couldn't stop I decided to close my eyes but every time I closed them I saw flashbacks of my nightmares. I am scared and can't sleep. I pulled out my phone and saw that it was now three in the morning wow have I really just been thinking the whole night I hate this I just want Jaden and the boys. I can't do this I need something to help me sleep and not have nightmares... I need alcohol that was the only thing that would knock me out that and weed. After tossing for a few minutes I gave up on sleep, I was on edge and I couldn't do this anymore. I got up from the bed and walked downstairs and opened the fridge to look for something to drink when I heard foot steps coming down shit!

Kells: lex is everything okay?
Lexie: uh y yeah I j just wanted to grab a w water b bottle
Kell's pov
I turned the kitchen light on to get a better look at lex who had red eyes and bags under her eyes. She looked like she was on edge and her body was on the verge of shaking from how scared she was. I knew I was going to have to approach her delicately.

Kells: hey hey it's okay you can have water if you want or do you want milk?
Lexie: w w what?
Kells: I can tell you haven't slept tonight do you want a bottle of milk it might calm you down
(Lexie looks like she's about to protect but eventually she gives in)
Lexie; okay (whispers)
Kell's pov
I walked over to the bag Jaden gave me and pulled out the pink bottle that was inside and then turned the stove on to warm it up because I knew that was what going to get her tired. After two minutes the bottle was warm enough and I poured the milk in and shook it, I was going to go over and pick up lex to carry her downstairs but she backed away from me so instead I gently grabbed her hand and walked her back upstairs to the guest room and saw the lights were still on along with the tv. She laid down on the bed with the bottle in her hand and I went to turn the lights off when I heard her whisper something so I turned around.

Lexie: c can y you s stay j just u until I f fall a asleep?
Kells: yeah (walks back over to the bed)
Lexie's pov
I felt a little bit better with Kells being with me but not as safe as I do with Jaden.. I drank the milk and I could slowly start to feel my eyes getting drowsy and eventually I closed them.
