Knock knock knock
Josh: ugh Jaden get it (mumbles)
Jaden: no you I have Lexie on top of me (mumbles back)
Josh: fine only because I don't want to wake Lexie up
(Josh stands up from the bed and walks over to the bedroom door and opens it to see Rafy standing there)
Josh: hey Rafy what's up (rubs his eyes)
Rafy: morning josh, I was just reminding Jaden that the doctors appointment he scheduled for lex is in an hour
Josh: oh okay I'll tell him and we'll be down in a minute
Rafy: okay (walks downstairs)
Josh: Jaden did you schedule a doctors appointment for lex?
Jaden: (opens his eyes) shit I forgot about that and yeah I had Rafy do one because I realized she hasn't been to the doctor once she's been here and I can't remember the last time she had a check up so I wanted to do It before we leave for Canada tomorrow
Josh: oh okay do you want me to come with you?
Jaden: sure if your not busy
Josh: no I am officially on break till after New Years
Jaden: okay great then maybe after the doctors we could go do something
Josh: sure I'll start getting ready and you get lex up
Jaden: okay
(Josh walks into the bathroom while Jaden lightly shakes Lexie)
Lexie: no (whines)
Jaden: lex you have a doctors appointment come on get up
Lexie: nooo I don't want to go to the doctors
Jaden: don't tell me you still hate them
Lexie: hmm (nods her head)
Jaden: too bad come on get up
(Jaden sits her up and she opens her eyes)
Lexie: Jaden let me sleep
Jaden: I can't do that come you need to get ready and have breakfast so we can go, actually you shouldn't eat anything in case they decide to do a blood test
Lexie: no you know how much I hate needles and anything that has to do with doctors please please don't make me go
Jaden: sorry babe but I don't even know when you had a last check up
Lexie: I was twelve
Jaden: your kidding, mom never had the nannies take you?
Lexie: other then the time I ended up fainting and getting diagnosed with anorexia nope
Jaden: (shakes his head) well then your definitely having a full check up go get ready
Lexie: noooo (latches onto Jaden)
Jaden's pov
I looked down at Lexie who had her arms wrapped around me and knew she wasn't going to get up so I got off the bed with her still clinging to me and carrying her to her room and set her in front of her closet and left the room to get ready myself.

Damnit damnit damnit I can handle a therapist, I can handle having a tutor but one thing I won't stand for is going to the fucking doctors I hate them. I hate the smell of a doctors office or hospitals, I hate them poking around and looking for something that could be wrong and don't get me started on the needles.. ugh I don't want to go but I knew Jaden was going to come back in here and check on me and I am not in the mood to get myself into trouble to be honest so I put on a purple long sleeve crop top with some matching sweats and sneakers. I left my hair down and walked downstairs to see the rest of the boys drinking their shakes.

Blake: where are you off to?
Lexie: Jaden scheduled a stupid doctor's appointment (crosses her arms)
Noah: aww don't pout don't you know Santa's coming in a few days (laughs)
Lexie: I am not the one who you should be talking to when Dixie just made a really... interesting Christmas song
(Noah blushes and takes a sip of his shake but doesn't say anything)
Bryce: it won't be that bad lex
Lexie: you don't know that (looks at griffin) hey griffin....
griffin: (puts his shake down) yeah?
Lexie: you went to nursing school can't you just give me the checkup
Griffin: sorry lex you know I didn't finish nursing school and even if I did i still wouldn't be qualified to be a doctor
Lexie: can you leave Sway and go back to medical school and become a doctor
Griffin: (laughs) not a chance, it won't be bad trust me
Lexie: of course you say that your one of them
(Lexie rolls her eyes as josh and Jaden come downstairs dressed)
Josh: ready to go bud?
Ant: your going with them?
Josh: yeah and them we'll probably do something after
Quinton: have fun you three and lex have fun at the doctors (laughs)
Lexie: shut it Griggs
Jaden: come on lex let's go
Lexie: don't make me (whines and gives him puppy dog eyes)
Jaden: those eyes don't work on me
Lexie: josh (looks at him with puppy dog eyes)
Josh: aww you look adorable but no get in the car
Lexie: ugh you guys suck
(Lexie leaves the house and gets in the car with josh and Jaden following)
Jaden: wait I didn't get my morning kiss from you (pouts)
Josh: aww babe (pecks his lips) better
Jaden: yeah (smiles) am I driving?
Josh: don't you always
Jaden: yeah you know you could drive for once too
Josh: I'll drive on the way back
Jaden: okay
Lexie's pov
Josh and Jaden stood outside of the car talking about who was going to drive and I was hoping they would just keep talking long enough for us to miss the doctors appointment, but of course that was wishful thinking because two minutes later Jaden got in the drivers seat and josh in the passenger and we started driving to the stupid doctors. I pulled out my phone and plugged in my headphones and went to YouTube and put on I think I am okay by MGK, yung blood and Travis barker and blasted it in my ears and just lost myself in the music and looking outside of the window at LA. A month or two ago I would have looked at it and hated it and I am not saying I love it now but it's growing on me... sure I miss the trees back home and the lakes but LA had the sun beating down on your skin, and the wind blowing as the palm trees sway back and forth and clear blue skies which was the prettiest part. I don't know how long we drove for but after a while we pulled into the parking lot that said LOS ANGELES CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. I groaned as Jaden started parking and both boys got out but I stayed in the backseat stalling until josh walked over to the door and opened it and I reluctantly got out and started walking with them inside.

Lexie: it's not too late to go back to the house you know all we have to do is take a few steps to the car, get in and drive until we magically arrive back at the house
Josh: what are you so afraid of lex?
Lexie: everything they are doctors duh
Jaden: come on kiddo your gonna be fine and we'll be there if you want us to be
Lexie: funny you thought you were leaving me side fuck no
Jaden: ay language
Lexie: fine fluff no
Josh: (laughs) better
Lexie's pov
We walked into the hospital and instantly got goosebumps from the cold air and the smell of the hospital made me feel sick to my stomach. I really just wanted to go back to the car but I know that's not going to happen so I suck it up and walk with the boys to this room and Jaden opened the door and he walked to the front desk to get the paper work while josh and I sat in one of chairs and as I sat down I couldn't help but bounce my knee up and down letting the nerves take over.

Josh: Lexie do you have your stress ball with you?
Lexie: yeah it's in my purse
Josh: use it
Lexie: fine
(She takes her stress ball out of her purse and starts squeezing it and Jaden comes back with the paperwork and starts filling it out)
Jaden: lex you said the last time you went to the hospital was when you fairer do you remember how long ago that was?
Lexie: uh almost two years ago I think, I was thirteen going to turn fourteen
Josh: damn
Lexie: yeah it's been a while
Jaden: okay and did you get any allergies at that time because last I remember you didn't have any
Lexie: yeah that's still the same
Jaden: okay... I don't want to ask this question but I have to since I put a check on the box that said anorexia when was the last time you purged?
Lexie: a year ago
Jaden: (sighs in relief) okay good I am gonna go back and give this to the desk
Lexie: okay (squeezes the ball and keeps bouncing her leg)
Josh: it's okay stop worrying (puts his hand on her knee)
Lexie: okay
Fifteen minutes later
?: Lexie Hossler
Jaden: come on kiddo (takes her hand)
Lexie: Jaden please let's just go back to the car we can still make a run for it
Josh: you and I both know that's not going to happen
?: hi Lexie my names Janet and I am just gonna take your weight and height okay?
Lexie: okay
Janet: great now I am just going to need you to stand straight against the wall with your feet touching the wall so it's accurate
Lexie: okay (does it)
Janet: okay (records the measurements) how old did you say you were Lexie?
Lexie: fifteen
Janet: okay now just step on the scale for me
Lexie: okay
(Janet looks at the scale and records the weight on a piece of paper)
Janet: okay so even though I am not a doctor I will say that she's definitely smaller then most girls her age, most girls at this age are at least reaching five feet minimum and she's only 4'7

Jaden: what about her weight?
Janet: minimum 68 and maximum 83, Lexie is is ten pounds underweight so 58
Lexie's pov
I saw the boys look at each other and I knew they were worried after hearing that. SEE this is exactly why I hate going to the doctors they always have something to fucking say and it just pisses me off. Like thank you for once again reminding me that I am not a normal fifteen year old as if I wasn't already aware of it by the many other fucking issues I have. Janet sent us into this tiny room with a bed and a plastic sheet covering it but I didn't want to sit there so I sat down in one of the other chairs.

Jaden: Lexie your gonna hate me for saying this
Lexie: what?
Jaden: I don't want you working out anymore your not gaining any muscle from it and just losing weight it's not healthy
Lexie: but Jaden I can't just not workout what am I supposed to do?!?

Lexie: (scoffs) josh tell him he's being ridiculous
Josh: sorry lex but I don't think he is, if we knew you were ten pounds underweight we would have stopped you from working out a while ago
Lexie: whatever
(Lexie rolls her eyes just as the doctor walks into the room)
?: hi Lexie my name is doctor shepherd but if you want you can call me Meridith
Lexie: no thanks
Meridith: okay well can you sit up on the bed for me so I can look at you
Lexie: no
Jaden: Lexie don't start and sit on the bed
Lexie: ugh fine (climbs onto the bed)
Lexie's pov
Once I was laying down Meridith started checking over me and then listened to my heart, checked my temperature, looked in my ears and throat then my blood pressure.

Meridith: okay so everything else looks okay except your blood pressure is a little high for your age so I'll be right back because I want to take a test to determine your stress levels and then I am gonna come back and give you the flu shot along with one other since you haven't had a check up in a few years okay?
Lexie: okay...
(Meridith leaves the room and Lexie looks at the boys)
Lexie: can we go home now?
Jaden: soon baby they are almost done
Lexie: ugh I am hungry
Josh: we'll get something to eat after what do you want?
Lexie: IHOP
Josh: I shouldn't have even asked
Jaden: do you have everything ready for Canada tomorrow?
Lexie: I need a suitcase but as for clothes yeah I am good because I got everything with Addison
Jaden: okay we'll go and buy a suitcase
Lexie: are we staying in Canada till New Years?
Josh: no I think just Christmas and then we are gonna meet up with the boys somewhere for New Years we just don't know where yet
Lexie: oh okay
Lexie's pov
The boys talked for a little more to distract me when Meridith came back with this machine thing and some sticky pads and she had me lay down as she put the pads on a few places on my body and asked for me to lay still, but I was to nervous so Jaden grabbed my hand and held it for a few minutes until the machine thing beeped and she looked at it and the results and wrote them down.

Meridith: Lexie can I ask you a question?
Lexie: yeah
Meridith: have you gone through anything stressful in the last couple of weeks?
Lexie: uh let's see moving from Tennessee to LA to live with my brother after my parents decided to give him custody, getting exposed multiple times on the internet, getting diagnosed with a learning disability and struggling with anorexia so yeah I would say pretty stressful
Meridith: that's a lot to juggle with I am sure, can I ask what your childhood was like?
Lexie: bullied in school with parents who were never around so my brother and nannies took care of me
Meridith: hmm (looks at Jaden and josh for a minute) can I talk to you guys outside for a minute
Boys: sure
Jaden: (looks at Lexie) don't think about escaping
Lexie: where I am gonna go? Climb out the damn child proof window
Jaden: good point
(Jaden, josh and Meridith walk out to the hallway)
Josh: is everything okay doctor gray?
Meredith: besides being underweight and height for her age yes but mentally her body is under a lot of stress and that could eventually cause physical health problems, is she in therapy?
Jaden: yeah we just put her in it why?
Meredith: it would probably be a good idea for her to be in it but I also want to recommend something else it can be seen as controversial in today's society or unorthodox but with Lexie's stress levels and she didn't have a proper child hood I think this could help her
Jaden: what is it?
Meredith: are you familiar with age play? It's a form of therapy that can be practiced at home it's recommend for people who have high stress levels
Josh: I have heard of it but we don't know much about it
Meridith: well I have a lot of papers on it and you can do your own research of course but it's when you get the child to act an age that's younger then their real age, it allows their mind to rest and not think so much it's a type of headspace and they are able to regress into a child again so you treat them like you would a child to reduce stress levels at first the teenager is gonna fight it so you might have to force it a couple times because obviously they aren't going to act like a kid but eventually they get used to it
Jaden: it's not that I am against the idea but I know Lexie will be she's stubborn as it is and she's not gonna like the idea of being treated more like a kid then she already is but if you think it's going to be what's better for her in the long run then that's what we'll do... look to be honest with you me taking care of my sister is all new for me because I have been living up here and my parents seriously neglected her so now I am just trying to do everything that I can to fix the pieces my shitty parents caused
Meridith: well in that case I think this form of therapy will be very helpful it'll be able to give her the childhood she didn't have and it'll reduce her stress the levels because the last thing we want is for her to have a seizure triggered by stress
Josh: that can happen?
Meridith: it's possible
Jaden: obviously we want to avoid that at all costs so age play therapy it is can you give us papers on it?
Meridith: yeah of course let me give Lexie her shots and then when you go to check out I'll give you the papers and I'd like to see her again in four months does that work for you?
Jaden: yeah sounds good thank you do to gray
Meridith: no problem
Lexie's pov
I don't know how long they were out there talking but it just made me more and more anxious until I saw the door open and the boys had unreadable expressions in their face but meridith looked calm and collected. Well of course she's calm and collected she's not the one about to get two needles punctured into her skin.

Meridith: okay so Lexie I am gonna give you your two shots and then your free to go
Lexie: fine
(Meridith gets the needles ready and then she does the first shot in Lexie's arm and the last one on her thigh and when she was done Lexie had tears in her eyes so Jaden hugged her)
Jaden: I am proud of you baby, you didn't give that much attitude and you listened
Lexie: hmm I am hungry can we go now
Josh: (smiles) yeah let's get you some food
Lexie's pov
We checked out and Meredith handed Jaden some papers but I didn't really think anything of it. We finally left that dreaded building and got in the car and started driving to IHOP and got there thirty minutes later and Josh parked the car and we got out and the waitress escorted us to the table and I looked at the menu while the boys took their phones out.

Josh: that's what we need to talk about but not at home yet because Lexie might hear us
Blake: uh oh I take it the appointment didn't go to well
Josh: if you count her being underweight and under height along with stress levels so high we are gonna have to do age play therapy with her then yeah it went well
Bryce: shit age play therapy, seriously?
Jaden: yup griffin do you know anything about this?
Griffin: yeah I know a bit and I also know she's gonna hate it and she's going to make it hell for us

Quinton: how the hell are we supposed to explain this to her?
Jaden: I don't even fucking know but listen we are at IHOP right now, we are gonna take her to the mall and get a suitcase, drop her off at the house and go to target so we can get stuff for this
Josh: griffin on a scale of one to ten how bad is this going to be?
Griffin: twelve

Lexie's pov
The boys got off their phone and we just talked for a while until the food came. The boys got me my usual order and then they decided to split their chocolate chip pancakes and then we all just ate the mozzarellas sticks. After breakfast we got in the car and started going to the mall and went to this luggage store and since I already had a purple suitcase I decided to get a pink one as well as a duffle bag and left the mall and started driving back to the house.

Jaden: don't worry about it for now okay we'll talk to you about it later
Lexie: why can't you guys just tell me now?
Josh: because we are gonna have a family meeting later but first we are taking you home because Jae and I have to run some errands

Lexie: you guys are acting weird but whatever (gets out of the car)

Lexie: (rolls her eyes) love you too (opens the front door) I am home!
Quinton: hey lex how was the doctors?
Lexie: fine I guess I don't know the boys have been acting weird since we left
Bryce: yeah I wouldn't worry about it
Lexie: yeah I guess anyway I am gonna go up to my room and watch some Netflix
Boys: okay
Scene change
Josh: so what do the papers say to get?
Jaden: little kid toys, Lexie used to have a bunch of stuffed animals when she was little along with baby dolls, barbies and small blankets she could hold in her hand
Josh: okay (picks a few out in puts them in the cart) what else?
Jaden: (looks at the papers and groans) she's really going to hate us
Josh: what is it?
Jaden: bottles, sippy cups and pacifiers it helps reduce the stress levels and she has something to suck on besides her thumb which she never does anyway but yeah that's what It says
Josh: (puts them in the cart) so should I start planning our funeral then?
Jaden: yeah I think that would be a good idea
Josh: at least we'll die together (laughs)
Jaden: true (pecks him on his lips) I don't know what I would do if I had to go through all this by myself
Josh: it's a good thing you don't have to then (holds his hand) anything else on the list?
Jaden: what about those big onesie pajamas?
Josh: good idea (walks to that aisle) what colors?
Jaden: the rose gold one and the purple one (puts it in the cart)
Josh: cute I think that's it for now right?
Jaden: yeah we could get more stuff along the way
Josh: okay
(Jaden and josh pay for the stuff and leave target without getting noticed and start driving back to the house)
Lexie's pov
Since all the boys were downstairs and my brother and josh were out and no one was outside In the backyard I figured I could light a blunt since it's been a minute since I have smoked weed. I double checked the backyard to make sure no one was outside and when it was clear I turned on my radio so the boys thought I was just chilling in my room and opened up the balcony and left it open so my room wouldn't smell like weed later. I walked over to my bag that had a secret zipper and pulled out the last bit of weed which reminds me I am gonna need to find a dealer maybe Dylan might know someone at least I hope he does, I took out the weed and sat down on the chair looking at the pool in the backyard and lit the blunt and started smoking it and I took a breath of relief. I didn't realize how triggered my anxiety was at the doctors but it was pretty high and now I can just close my eyes and relax and get lost in the music so that's what I did.

Jaden: we are home!!!
Lexie: (mumbles) shit shit
(Lexie finishes the blunt quickly and when she's done she threw it out and walked into to her room, brushed her teeth, put eye drops in and sprayed herself with perfume)
Griffin: Lexie come down here please!!
Lexie's pov
I heard griffin call me from downstairs and I looked at my reflection in the mirror and couldn't help but laugh even though there was nothing funny but I couldn't help it I just started laughing shit Lexie get your shit together you know how to compose yourself when your high. Yeah but you literally just smoked a whole blunt in under an hour and you haven't been high in a minute, oh would you shut up brain! I heard griffin call me a second time so I walked downstairs and saw the boys back from target with multiple bags in their hands but I couldn't help but notice it was all baby stuff.

Lexie: (shrugs her shoulders) it's fun and it's been a while
Griffin: where did you get it?
Lexie: shh that's a secret i won't tell
Kio: well she's too stoned to talk now we are gonna have to wait for her to sober up
Jaden: yeah no shit, I'll be right back I am going to her room (stars walking upstairs)
Lexie: wait no you can't go up there (stops him)
Jaden: (sighs) why?
Lexie: there's a monster up there it's free with tentacles and It'll eat you
Bryce: damn she's really tripping right now how much weed did you smoke lex?
Lexie: I don't know (laughs)
Josh: alright you go sit on the couch now and watch tv or something
Lexie: ooo family guy! (Walks over to the couch and turns on Hulu)
Jaden's pov
I am so pissed off but I am trying to keep it under control for Lexie's sake and walked up to her room and started searching her room but didn't find it in the closet, bathroom, drawers, nightstand, and then I saw a black bag by the corner of her bed and walked over to it and opened it and started looking through the pockets and felt and opened it and I saw two vape pens and a bag that had barely any weed left. Okay now I am even more pissed but she's so stoned that I am gonna have to wait for her to sober up before doing anything. I heard footsteps come up the stairs and then enter Lexie's room and turned around to see josh.

Jaden: she had two vape pens and weed in here was this the bag it was in last time?
Josh: no it was a different bag but now that we are up here we should check that one to (grabs the second bag and starts searching through it) she's clear on this one
Jaden: okay let's go downstairs and bring the bag then wait for Lexie to sober up

Two hours later
Lexie's pov
I laughed at family guy for a few episodes and ate a sandwich and a bag of chips and then decided to take a shower so I got off the couch and took a shower which sobered me up a bit and I walked downstairs to see the boys in the dining room with my black bag on it... well shit.

Bryce: really nothing at all? Like why this bag had two vapes and a bag of weed
Lexie: it's not my bag

Noah: so your telling us that Casper smokes watermelon strawberry flavored vape and it floats in thin air since he can't actually pick it up

Bryce's pov
I had it with playing Lexie's game and I could tell so were the boys but I think I was the most pissed because I know what it's like to be hooked on it. I have done some really stupid shit while being high and I don't want to see her repeat my mistakes so I walked over to her and picked her up.

Fuck I think I just figured out who spanks the hardest and the longest because I think that's the longest one I got so far. Bryce pulled me up from his lap and sat me down which brought a whole new set of tears and he wiped them and pulled me in for a hug and I was to drained to fight him back.

I was too stunned at the fact that Bryce just spanked my sister In front of the boys but I wasn't mad about it just stunned because I didn't think he would have it in him to punish her but he just proved me wrong anyway I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard Bryce say my name and I knew I was going to have to tell her the one thing I have been dreading this whole day.

Jaden: yeah it's when you act an age get treated younger then you actually are...
Lexie: hell no I don't care what the doctor said we aren't doing it
Jaden: yes we are lex I am sorry but I'd rather you hate doing it or me for it than for you to end up in a hospital because god forbid you have a seizure or something that ends with you being in the hospital
Lexie: what the hell Jaden!!! You can't just make all the decisions I know that I live with you or whatever but that's not fair I should have a say in it too!!!
Josh: not when it comes to your health lex we are sorry and look we don't want to do it either
Lexie: so then don't do it!! I don't want to do it and neither do I do just fuck what the doctor says
Griffin: you know we can't do that... look sometimes parents have to do things they don't want to do because it's better for the kid
Lexie: in case you forgot griffin my "parents don't give a fuck" and Jaden and josh can pretend all they want but they aren't mine either, you guys are my brothers and I am not doing this stupid age play thing!!!
(Lexie Gets off of Bryce's lap and storms upstairs to her room and slams the door)
Jaden: she hates us
Josh: yup
Griffin: no she doesn't she's just mad she'll get over it just give her some time to process it

A few hours later
Knock knock knock
Lexie: go away!!!
Kio: lex you need to eat dinner come out
Lexie: no fuck off!!!
Kio: Lexie Marie don't use that tone of voice with me now come downstairs and eat dinner
Lexie: no leave me the fuck alone!!
Kio: now Lexie or I am gonna go get Jaden
Lexie: I don't care!!
(Kio keeps knocking on the door until Lexie groans from annoyance and opens the door)
Lexie: leave me alone
Kio: nope I understand your mad but your not skipping dinner (picks her up and carries her downstairs)
Lexie: put me down!!
(Kio sits her at the table and griffin hands her a plate with chicken and pasta)
Lexie: do you know how many carbs is in this?
Noah: that's a good thing start eating
(Lexie glares at them but doesn't say anything and starts eating)
Jaden: Lexie please don't be mad
(Lexie ignores him and keeps eating)
Josh: (sighs) okay well when your done eating I need you to pack because we have to be at the airport early in the morning okay?
(Lexie stays quiet and takes another bite and fifteen minutes later she finishes eating and walks upstairs to her room)
Lexie's pov
I got to my room and started blasting MGK through my radio and pulled out the suitcase we bought today and started packing everything Addison and I bought in that one. Then in the purple one I put all my coats and jackets in that one and in the duffel bag was my hair and makeup stuff. By the time I was finished packing It was midnight and I was exhausted. I looked at my bed and then down the hall then back at my bed and ughhhh no matter how mad I am at the stupid boys I hate sleeping alone at night more so I swallowed my pride and walked across the hall to josh and Jaden's room who were cuddling and watching a movie. I walked over to them and crawled in between them, pulled the covers up and closed my eyes without saying anything.

Josh: see I told you she couldn't hate us that much I mean if she did she wouldn't have came in the room
Jaden: yeah but she didn't even talk to us either
Josh: just wait for tomorrow it's gonna be the three of us she's going to have to talk to us but question are we going to start the therapy when in Canada or when we get back?
Jaden: I was thinking about that and I am pretty sure lex isn't going to want to act like a baby in front of your family but maybe at night when it's just us three we can slowly start her getting used to it nothing big just bring the blanket and the pacifier and bottle
Josh: yeah okay like before bed?
Jaden: yeah
Josh: okay sounds good
Jaden: alright let's get some sleep because we are gonna have to be up wary tomorrow
Josh: good idea (pecks him on the lips and then kisses lex on the forehead and turns the lights off and they go to sleep)
