Beep beep beep
(Noah groans and gets off the bed and walks over to Blake's room across the hall and knocks on the door and a few minutes later he opens the door)
Blake: what time is it?
Noah: six and we have to be at the airport in an hour and still pick up the girls so start getting ready
Blake: (rubs his eyes) okay fine (closes the door)
Noah's pov
I walked into josh and Jaden's room next and saw lex sleeping in the middle of them but she had her arm wrapped around Jaden's arm and her head on his chest. I knew I would have to wake up lex but I didn't want to wake up the boys just yet since they barely sleep in as it is, so I lightly shook her shoulder.

Lexie's pov
I felt someone shaking my shoulder but I was half asleep so I just buried myself deep into Jaden's chest if that was possible and ignored the person shaking me but they kept doing it and I started to get scared thinking Jake found his way back in the house and decided to take me sooner then what he said and I let out a whimper and clutched onto Jaden tighter.

Noah: lex it's time to get up we have to go  (whispers)
Lexie: no (mumbles)
Noah: come on lex please don't be difficult, I don't want to wake up the boys and we can't miss our flight
Lexie: I want to stay with bubba and Joshy
Noah: they'll meet us tomorrow, come on get up lex
Lexie: no
Jaden's pov
I opened my eyes after hearing Noah's voice and was going to go back to sleep but after feeling lex grab onto my arm and her say no I knew that falling back asleep wasn't an option yet.

Lexie: no I don't want to leave you guys
Jaden: your going to see us tomorrow night
Lexie: no (still holding onto his arm)
Josh: (opens his eyes now) what's going on (says with a raspy morning voice)
Lexie: I want to stay with you guys, I don't want to go to New York
Josh: you were so excited yesterday, what happened?
Lexie: (shrugs her shoulders) I changed my mind
Jaden: (turns on the lamp on the night table and looks at noah) can you give us a minute with her?
Noah: yeah, meet me downstairs when your done okay lex?
(Lexie shakes her head no and keeps holding onto Jaden but Noah decides to leave and let them have a moment)
Jaden: what's going on lex? Did you have a nightmare last night?
Lexie: no...
Josh: then? Yesterday you were all about wanting to go today to take workshops and network with teachers
Lexie: well I change my mind, I don't want to talk to anyone other then you or the boys, I don't want to be in a room where I don't know anybody besides Clare who's probably going to take different classes
Jaden: baby they are all dancers just like you, I know your worried about meeting new people but you'll make friends
Lexie: I don't care I want to stay with you and josh
Josh: Remember we have to work so you'll be better off in New York anyway
Lexie: I'll go to rehearsal with Jaden and I promise I'll be on my best behavior and I'll sit on the couch while you rehearse and play on my phone or something you won't even know I am there
Jaden's pov
I looked at lex and could pretty much hear the desperation in her voice over how much she wanted to stay but I also noticed a certain fear in her eyes. When she gets scared her eyes widen and she rambled kind of like what she's doing now. So I picked her up from the bed and sat her in my lap and started running my fingers through her hair trying to calm her down.

Jaden: baby is this about you worried for competition? Because if it is I promise your going to do great and the boys and I will be there by Saturday to watch you kill it
Lexie: it's not about that (plays with her fingers)
Jaden: then what is it about?
Lexie: I can't tell you (keeps playing with her fingers)
Josh: (grips her chin and makes her look up) Lexie we can't help you if you don't tell us what's bothering you
Lexie's pov
I looked into Josh's eyes and saw he was worried once he noticed how scared I was and I wanted to tell them what happened but I don't think I could. What if he's watching me right now, what if he somehow hacked into the security cameras and can hear what we are saying, what if... my breathing started to increase again, I felt my heart beat faster, my palms started to sweat, I can't do this I am tired of living in constant fear of him and I I don't know what to do. I felt so overwhelmed that I burst out into tears sobbing and clutching onto Jaden, I don't want to go to New York, I don't want to leave them, what if Jake's crazy ass tries to do something to them and I am in another state. The guilt would kill me. I was finally pushed out of my thoughts when I felt Jaden wrap his arms tightly around me and rocked me back and forth bringing me back to reality.

Jaden: baby I need you to tell us what's going on
Lexie: (whispers in his ear) close the windows and shut the security cameras
Jaden's pov
I looked at lex confused as to why she wanted me to do that but the fear in her eyes told me to just do it so I nudged josh and mouthed at him to close the blinds and turn the cameras off while I kept comforting lex long enough for her to tell us what was going on.

Josh: okay it's done and I put it in the closet just in case for whatever reason it'll be harder to hear anything
Lexie: if I tell you please don't get mad at me I tried, I tried to (starts breathing heavy)
Jaden: breathe lex just breathe and tell us we won't get mad (holds her hands)
Lexie: j Jake s snuck into my room while I was packing my clothes... I tried to run downstairs and yell for help but he grabbed me and pinned me against the door and and and
Josh: and what? (Asks sternly)
Lexie: he had a k knife with him h he threatened to stab all of you and kidnap me
Jaden: oh my baby (hold her tighter and kisses her head)
Lexie: I am sorry (cries)
Josh: Lexie Marie Hossler this is not your fault do you understand me? You did the best that you could in the situation you were in, it would have been worse if you did come downstairs not for us but for you he could have hurt you and that's the last thing we ever want to happen
Lexie: what are we going to do he said that he's going to take me when we come back from New York, I I don't want to leave you guys (cries)
Jaden: hey hey listen to me he is not about to take you anywhere understand? We'll hire security, and we'll get the bastard out behind bars but in order for that to work we have to pretend like everything's okay, if he's stalking you which we can assume then we don't want him to know that we know
Josh: it'll make him unpredictable if he finds out and that can get dangerous
Lexie: so what are we going to do? (Calms down)
(Jaden looks at josh and like they are having a silent conversation and then Jaden looks back at Lexie)
Jaden: baby your not going to like my answer but as of right now I don't want you to be alone not even in the house, you stay by us at all times, but your still going to New York
Lexie: what!? No!
Josh: yes baby because we don't want him suspecting anything, you are going to stay by Blake and Noah or Clare and your friends, your going to also use Blake or Noah's phone even with the new number he could still figure out how to track it down
Jaden: wait no don't do that if you take her phone it's going to make it look suspicious so for right now you keep your phone, if he tries to reach you make him think we know nothing okay lex (looks at him)
Lexie: o okay
Josh: when the boys wake up we are going to tell them and then go down to a police station and get this figured out okay?
Lexie: o o okay
Jaden: I love you lex you know that right? (Wipes her cheeks) and I am going to do my best to protect you I promise (voice cracks)
Lexie: I love you too bubba, and Joshy (hugs them)
Josh: come on let's go downstairs yeah?
Lexie: yeah
(The three of them walk downstairs and then tell Blake and Noah what's happening)
Jaden: I am trusting her with you guys, josh and I will be there tonight but please please don't take your eye off her
Noah: don't worry she's safe with us
Blake: yeah
Josh: (sighs) okay we'll see you tomorrow lex (hugs her)
Lexie's pov
I was terrified at the thought of leaving them but Jaden was right if I didn't want Jake to know I told them I would have to act like everything was normal, I was scared to see if he would find out either way but then again it's only seven in the morning he can't be that crazy to be waking up at that time to stalk me right? The thought sent shivers down my spine and I walked closer to Noah who wrapped his arm around my shoulder and led me to the car. The drive to pick up Dixie and Amelie was quiet and I was thankful for that because one I didn't really feel like talking and two I don't think the boys would know what to say to comfort me because nothing would if I am being honest. I feel like I am being prayed upon by an animal and nothing can say anything that's going to make that feeling go away. Twenty minutes later we go to Dixie's house and she pecked Noah on the lips before joining me in the backseat.

Lexie's pov
How am I? That's a stupid question it's not like my life has turned into a criminal minds episode, what am I supposed to say? Oh I am great just my crazy ex that I dated for six months is stalking but other then that I am great? Nah I am just going to settle for something better.

Lexie: no it's okay I am just going to put my headphones on (grabs her phones and plugs them in her phone and starts listening to tell me about tomorrow)
(Five minutes later they pick up Amelie and thirty minutes later they finally get to the airport)
Amelie: babe what time is it?
Blake: Seven we have thirty minutes to get through to security
Noah: alright let's hurry then
Lexie's pov
We made it passed the security and then the girls and I went to Starbucks and got a croissant with a white chocolate frappe and then I felt my phone vibrate and saw Clare had texted in the group chat.

Lexie: I am at the airport already

Clare: the boys wanted to avoid being mobbed my fans and paparazzi

Lexie: what time are your flights?
Clare: Justin just called the people who are in charge of getting the jet ready so we'll probably be there in about two hours
Amy: wait are you saying Justin Bieber is going to be at our dance competition!!?!
Clare: keep the fan girling to a minimum please but yeah he's going since my mom had to stay with faith and dad is on his remember this tour with Nick and Kevin
Dani: I love Justin but I genuinely can't wait to meet griffin 😍
Lexie: okay ew, I know you haven't met them yet but like Clare said fan girl on the down low

Clare: what workshop are we taking first?
Dani: I wanted to do hip hop
Amy: I am taking musical theater
Lexie: omg same
Amy: okay what about you Clare?
Clare: I was going to take jazz but musical theater sounds more fun
Lexie: yay okay so we are all in the same workshop
Amy: thank god because I was actually really nervous to be in a workshop by myself

Lexie: okay let me just tell the girls (looks back at her phone)
Lexie: I have to go we are about to board
Clare: okay I'll text you when we land hopefully our room are close together :)

We boarded the plane and I sat in the window seat next to blake and Amelie who were holding hands, we went through the whole security protocol and finally we were up in the air so I plugged in my headphones and went back to listening to Jaden's album.

(The boys had already woken up and josh and Jaden told them what happened between Jake and Lexie)
Bryce: I have a better idea fuck the police Taylor and I will kill the bastard right now and throw him in the lake farthest from LA
Griffin: no we don't need you getting arrested again
Bryce: well then what the fuck are we supposed to go griffin because every minute that we are sitting here he's still out there and wants to hurt lex

Amelie: lex wake up (lightly shakes her shoulder)
Lexie: what now (mumbles)
Blake: we are here, you can sleep when we get to the hotel
Lexie: ugh fine (sits up and grabs her duffel bags)
Lexie's pov
Once we had all our bags, Noah went to see if he could get a rental car for the rest of the week and they ended up giving us a silver mini van and then we were on our way to the hotel and I decided to text the girls to let them know.

Clare: okay we just got on the jet and are about to take off so I'll text you when we land

Lexie's pov
We got to the hotel and Noah checked us into the suite which basically had three suites one for him and Dixie and the other for Blake and Amelie and another room for myself and then Jaden and josh for tomorrow while the rest of the boys have a separate room. After settling in a little bit I decided to take a shower and change into what I would wear for the workshops, after my shower I simply put my hair in a high pony, threw on a simple black crop top with some pink leggings and walked out to see them looking at the room service menu.

Lexie: uh chicken Cesar salad
Noah: lex...
Lexie: no I am literally going to be dancing the rest of the day I can't have anything heavy in my stomach

While we waited for the food I was just catching up with Dixie and Amelie. Dixie was saying that her and Charlie were about to start filming a reality show with Hulu and I told her good luck with all the cameras around. Sway had finished up a few weeks back but they were waiting to hear if another "season" was going to happen. While Amelie was just focusing on whether or not she was going to go back to school for the next semester. After catching up we decided to watch the new gossip girl to see if it was any good, halfway through room service showed up and just as I was taking my last bite, my phone vibrated and my heart stopped for a second but then relaxed when I noticed it was just Clare.

Justin: (laughs) I do tend to have that effect on people, where are the rest of the guys (looks at Blake and Noah)
Noah: they'll be here tomorrow
Justin: cool I got to talk to Jaden and see when we can in the studio together since both of us haven't had a chance

Justin: adorable she's going on five months now

While the adults were talking, I took Clare to the guest room and we started talking and I decided that I trusted her enough to tell her about Jake. At first she was pissed but who could blame her then she just gave me a hug and reassure me. Then she told me the latest on her and Ricky, they broke up again because he's the definition of a fuck boy but they are still dance parters so she's tolerating him. After talking for an hour Amy and Dani texted saying they were here but James asp texted saying we should practice..

We took the elevators down to the ballrooms where everyone was checking we saw Mrs.Cassidy handing out the wristbands so we each took one and then I found James talking to moose and Camille which gave me an idea.

Lexie: hey (smiles) James and I are going to practice and we could use an extra pair of eyes plus you two are familiar with partner work
Camille: dedication I like it, of course we'll watch you guys
Jame: thanks guys there's already an empty ballroom we can use

Lexie's pov
We walked into the ballroom and I took my position on the opposite side of the room while James connected the Bluetooth speaker and once the music started we ran through our routine.

Lexie: yeah of course
Camilla: in the beginning when your swaying make it look like you literally have no control but obviously you do right so when you swing your neck side to side make it look like you are truly unstable
Moose: and James when you hold her waist and lay her in your lap don't be afraid to actually hold her, you want to make it look your protecting her because what's happening is your holding her but your also giving her room, you are the lead and you have to make it clear
James: okay
Camille: start again
(James plays the music and they run it again)
Camille: that was good as far as technique goes but I am still not feeling it, she's supposed to be unstable, one minute she's in your arms turning the next she's pushing you away from her, but your not letting her really take us to there
Moose: yeah your technique is perfect so the judges are mainly going to judge you off of the dancing meaning they want to see if you can capture your audience and tell the story, let's do it a few more times
Lexie's pov
We ran it two more times and I knew the only reason we aren't able to tell the story is because I have my emotional guard up right now and if I let go... well let's just say I am going to breakdown and I can't do that.

Moose: yeah we'll get you guys some new water bottles

James: your holding back I can see it in your eyes

James: so then stop
Lexie: I can't, I don't want to let my guard down
James: it's just me lex we've been working together for months you think I can't see right through you, you think I don't know when your going through some shit and your hiding it, listen I'll listen and respect if you don't want to tell me but I need you to channel all those feelings into the dance you've done it before and you can do it again
Lexie: (looks at him) fine
(Moose and Camille walk in)
Camille: you guys ready?
Lexie: yeah (grabs the bottle and takes a sip)
(James starts the music)
Lexie's pov
We ran through the routine and by the end my legs gave out on me and I collapsed to the floor bringing my knees to my chest and ducked my head under and sobbed. The fear, the stress of not knowing what Jake was going to do next had taken over and I couldn't hold back anymore. I felt arms wrap around me and just clutched onto whoever it was. I don't know how long I was on the floor for but whoever was holding me just sat with me and let my cry until I was done and I looked up and saw moose was the one holding onto me.

Lexie: not really (wipes her tears)
Moose: okay then let's just get you back to your room yeah? You should rest after that
Lexie: o okay, w where did James go?
Moose: I sent him to tell the girls you weren't going to meet up with them at least not today, whatever's going on right now with you needs to take priority, understand? No more holding back and bottling shit up
Lexie's pov
I didn't want to speak so instead I just nodded my head and moose helped me stand up, it felt like all the energy I had was drained in one quick moment, I had none anymore, I was tired and mentally exhausted, I wanted to be little and even though I hate being little when josh and Jaden aren't here, I don't want to deal with big problems right now. We made it to the hotel room and moose knocked on the door and Justin opened it so I guess he was still hanging out with everyone.

Moose: yeah it's just lex had a little bit of a breakdown so it's probably best if she relaxes the rest of the day
Justin: yeah that sounds like a good idea, thanks for bringing her

Justin: they decided to do a double date so I stayed back in case you or Clare needed to come up for whatever reason

I looked at lex who's eyes were red, her cheek were also red and her face was swollen you could tell she had been through it and I want to help her feel better so I decided to call Jaden.

Justin: what do you usually do after Lexie has a breakdown? Blake and Noah went on a double date and I stayed back at the hotel, lex was rehearsing and broke down at the end
Jaden: we usually put her in little space but I don't know if she's going to be comfortable around you to get in the headspace
Justin: I should at least try, trust me Jaden i think she needs it
Jaden: (sighs) make her a warm bottle and sing that usually does the trick, can I talk to her?
Justin: she's in the shower but I'll tell her to call you when she gets out

Jaden: yeah just lex has some stuff going on right now and she's in New York right now for a competition, I am supposed to fly out tomorrow though since we had tour rehearsals today and tomorrow

I thanked Travis one last time before walking out of the studio and to the car and called josh in the meantime to let him know.

Lexie's pov
I got out of the bath and felt a little bit better but I still felt like I wasn't all there like you know how your body is physically there but your mind isn't, that' kind of how I feel right now. I walked out into the living room to see Justin holding a pink bottle of milk in his hand and I knew he probably had called Jaden. Normally I would have down right refused to be little in front of Justin considering he's like my idol and it's embarrassing but I don't have the energy to fight so I just walked over to the couch and laid down to watch Sofia until Justin walked over to me.

Justin: so I have never really done this well I have but with faith so.. do you want to drink it yourself or do you want me to give it to you?

Five minutes later there's a knock on the door so Justin goes to open the door and sees Clare)

Clare: moose said that you were in here so I just wanted to check on lex and see how she is
Justin: she's in little space right now and is on the verge of falling asleep
Clare: oh okay...
Justin: did she tell you what's going on?
Clare: yeah... her abusive Ex is basically stalking her and coming after her
Justin; damn well I am sure the boys are handling it and I have got her so don't worry go do what you need to to do okay?
Clare: okay are we staying here tonight?
Justin: nah I am just going to wait till the boys come back from their double date
Clare: okay I'll text you, they have shows at night so I'll be in the room after

Justin's pov
I walked back to the couch to see that lex had fallen asleep so I left her there and just started watching tv. It was around seven when she woke up and we ordered room service, I got fettuccine and she had chicken tenders and then she fell back asleep again and an hour later there was a knock on the door. I knew the boys had a key so I got up to see if it was Clare again but when I opened the door I saw it was Jaden.

Justin: hey the boys said you weren't coming till tomorrow (bro hugs him)
Jaden: yeah well after you told me about lex, Travis said it was okay for me to be with her, where is she?
Justin: she's sleeping and the boys are still out

Justin and I spent the majority of the night catching up and talking about when we can get into the studio until Clare came came back because the shows finished and around ten the boys came back with Dixie and Amelie who were surprised to see me here, which they would have known if they checked their phones. I am going to be honest it kind of bothered me that I left lex with them and then just gave the responsibility to Justin and I know he didn't mind but it still bothered me. Lex has only been around Justin a few times and is way more comfortable around the boys but it's whatever. I said goodnight to them and picked lex up and walked to the other room and fell asleep with her still sleeping on my chest.
