(Jaden groans, opens his eyes and turns over to grab his phone to see josh is FaceTiming him so gets off the bed and walks out to the balcony)
Jaden: good morning babe
Josh: morning (smiles) did you just wake up?
Jaden: hmm how about you?
Josh: I have been up we left Miami around 7 so I am in the car with griffin on my way to sway
Jaden: okay we are going to check out early, then I am going to drop ness off and head over there, do I need to stop at the house or does lex still have stuff over there?
Josh: pretty sure she left a majority of clothes here at the house but I'll double check and let you know, how was the pier yesterday?
Jaden: oh you know as expected started off okay with lex giving minimum attitude until we got to the pier and three hours later she almost got physical with ness and I had to take her to the family restroom and punish her
Josh: that seems to be a daily thing now isn't it
Jaden: yeah apparently (sighs)
Josh: anyways change of subject when you come drop off lex you think we could sneak up to my room for a bit
Jaden: if the boys keep her distracted yeah
Josh: okay sounds good, I can't wait to see you
Jaden: me either so let me wake up the two demons so I can get over there fast
Josh: (laughs) okay see you soon love you
Jaden: love you too
(Hangs up the phone and puts it in his pocket and walks into the room and walks over to ness and lightly shake her)
Ness: hmm (eyes closed)
Jaden: we gotta check out and then I have to take lex to sway
Nessa: okay but can you take me home before dropping lex off? I have a photo shoot today and I need time to get ready
Jaden: I was going to do that anyway
Nessa: alright I'll get up (opens her eyes and stretches)
(Jaden walks over to Lexie and lightly shakes her)
Lexie: fuck off (mumbles)
Jaden: no time to get up we have stuff to do today and then I gotta take you to sway
Lexie: (opens her eyes) Joshy's back!
Jaden: yeah so come on get ready
Lexie: okay (gets off the bed)
Jaden: if only it were that easy every time (shakes his head and walks to his duffel bag)
Lexie's pov
I walked over to my duffel bag and picked out a coral colored tube top that had a flower in the middle that I got from Hollister with these ripped shorts with sneakers, then put my hair in a high ponytail and looked around the hotel room and picked up anything that was mine and put it in my duffel bag and I was ready to go and a few minutes later so was Jaden and emo Barbie. We checked the room one last time before going down to the lobby and checking out and a few minutes later we were in the car for the next hour which was fine because I just grabbed my phone and headphones and started catching up on the newest episode of All American. When the episode finished we were back in LA and twenty minutes later we were pulling up to Nessa's house.

Lexie: bye bitch
Jaden: Lexie Marie! (Smacks her thigh) apologize properly and stop being disrespectful
Lexie: (rolls her eyes) bye emo barbie
Jaden: (smacks her in the thigh again) try again
Lexie: bye ness and I am sorry
Nessa: (smiles) it's okay lex hopefully next week we'll be better and we can along
Lexie: (mumbles) don't count on it
Jaden: I am going to walk her to the door and if you want you can sit in the front (gets out of the car)
Lexie's pov
I debated on it for a second and then decided to move to the front of the car and put my seatbelt on and a minute later Jaden was back in the car and we were driving to sway.

Jaden: (sighs and looks at nessa since he's at a stop light) i don't like punishing you so much lex, not even when you first came down to LA did I have to punish you as much as I am now it makes me feel like a shitty brother but I don't know what else to do to get you to listen
Lexie: (looks down and plays with her fingers) I am sorry bubba... I don't mean to be so difficult it's just
Jaden: just what baby?
Lexie: why did you have to catch feelings for her of all people (looks at him) I thought you loved Joshy and I thought I finally had the family I never had and you took it away...
Jaden: aww lex we are still a family no matter what your always going to have josh and the boys, I wouldn't take you from them ever no matter what happens in the future, whatever arguments might happen or anything like that I am never going to involve you in our problems, and I still do love josh but I am not in love with him anymore like I used to be
Lexie: what changed? (Looks at him)
Jaden: (stays quiet for a minute) you haven't been a relationship with anyone yet or at least a healthy one so you don't know but one day your totally in love with the person and the next it's different you don't know why but you can feel the change
Lexie: oh
Jaden's pov
The rest of the car ride stayed quiet after that which left me alone with my thoughts, I felt like such a hypocrite saying those words because I didn't believe it for a second. I still in love with josh as much as I was when we first dated and we are going on seven months now, I love him so much and I want a future with him and it breaks my heart to see Lexie thinking otherwise but I have to remember I am doing this for our future, so that I can still have a label to make another album in the future and not have to worry about anything and josh is doing the same thing so we just have to deal with it. Thirty minutes later we pulled into the driveway of the sway house and got out of the car, Lex grabbed her duffel bag and we walked inside and the first thing we noticed was the cameras were rolling and I mentally cursed because I really want to be able to sneak away with josh but they were filming Bryce who looked annoyed for some odd reason and then Noah, griff and Rafy sitting on the couch.

Bryce: what are you guys sitting around here for get me my necklace
Griffin: not going to lie it's at the bottom of the pool
Bryce: (mocks) it's at the bottom of the pool, Noah i am doing another stripper prank on you dude
Noah: dude Bryce you just don't learn
Lexie: what did I just walk into (laughs)
Bryce: (turns around) Lexie!! (Runs up to her and picks her up)
Lexie: missed you to Bruce now put me down and tell me what's going on
Bryce: Noah and Blake thought it would be hilarious if they grabbed my PAU cabin and prank me by putting it in an Easter egg and in the pool
Lexie: so what's the big deal?
Bryce: follow me
(Bryce and Lexie go out to the pool while griffin walks over to Jaden)
Griffin: he's in his room unpacking
Jaden: thanks I'll be back (walks upstairs and knocks on the door)
Josh: come in
(Jaden walks in and wraps his arms around josh who quickly turns around)
Josh: (smiles) why didn't you tell me you were on the way already
Jaden: figured I could at least try and surprise you (pecks him on the lips)
Josh: I haven't seen you the whole week and you give me a peck on the lips, come on you can do better
Josh's pov
Jaden presses his lips up against mine again and this time it last long enough for me to start kissing him back, I wrap my arms around his neck and slight pull on his hair resulting in a groan from him and then we eventually pull away and look each other in the eyes with our foreheads touching.

Jaden: god I have missed you
Josh: me too where's lex?
Jaden: Bryce took her to the backyard something about his PAU chain in an Easter egg
Josh: (laughs) oh yeah we came home and he was pissed (pulls him down on the bed) how are you doing?
Jaden: (sighs) honestly this is hard, Lexie and I were talking in the car and I had to make up some BS about how people fall out of love and I didn't believe one word that came out of my mouth
Josh: you know you really should just get into acting
Jaden: eventually but right now I just want to get this album out so we can get back to our lives
Josh: hopefully is it almost done?
Jaden: I haven't been able to be in the studio because our managers are pushing ness and i to spend time together but I'll be back at the studio this week
Josh: you have kimmel this week to right?
Jaden: yeah are you going to watch? (Looks at him)
Josh: of course I will, I am proud of you I know this isn't exactly how we pictured you getting to be where you want but at least your getting there
Jaden: yeah what about you? How was Miami?
Josh: good we filmed BFF's twice and don't worry I made sure Dave and griff didn't bash you to much oh and Briana
Jaden: thanks I already have the rest of the internet coming for me
Josh: are you doing okay with the hate?
Jaden: yeah because I know in reality you and I are fine and that's all I care about (lays his head on his shoulder)
Josh: good that's all that should matter
Jaden: we should probably get back down before people start to get suspicious
Josh: (sighs) yeah good idea plus I want to see my baby
Jaden: hey she's my baby
Josh: our baby (pecks him on the lips)
Jaden: (playfully rolls his eyes) fine our baby
Lexie's pov
I was in the backyard with the boys and Bryce was looking at the many Easter eggs that were in the pool and I was just trying not to laugh because I knew if I did he would get even more pissed.

Bryce: like fuck you guys
Kio: hey! We have Lexie here now
Lexie: oh please like I haven't heard you guys curse
Bryce: it's definitely not in any of these and then I am going to dive into the pool and as soon as I am in the pool you guys are going to laugh and say it's right here and hold it up (says in a mocking voice)
Noah: we are tired of the pranks
Bryce: no no this isn't even a prank this is like A there's money there whereas I could potentially ruin a relationship
Noah: a relationship is priceless alright and you almost messed that up
Lexie: aww Noah's being a simp, I have missed that
Noah: (looks at her) you want to go in the pool next?
Lexie: no (laughs and shakes her head)
Bryce: I am not going in the pool right now the heater's broken and it's like ice, this has been going on way too long and now it's just awkward
(Josh and Jaden walk outside and Lexie sees josh)
Lexie: JOSHY!!! (Runs up to him)
Josh: (catches her with his arms open) hey bud
Lexie: I have missed you so much (fists his hoodie)
Josh: I missed you too baby but we are going to be together the whole week okay?
Lexie: okay (lays her head in the crook of his neck)
Jaden: alright I am going to get going (kisses the top of Lexie's head) later boys

Lexie's pov
A few minutes later Bryce walked inside the house more pissed because he wasn't going to jump in the pool so josh and I just followed him inside to the kitchen area and a few minutes later Noah walks inside and pulls a gold Easter egg from the inside of his pants.

Lexie: okay now that's just gross
Bryce: I don't even want to touch that (reaches for the Easter egg and opens it) thanks guys (rolls his eyes)
Twenty minutes later
Josh: oh lex before I forget come up to the room with me
Lexie: why...
Josh: just come on I got you something while I was in Miami
Lexie: oh okay (gets off the couch)
Blake: is that what it takes to get her off the couch now (jokes)
Lexie: shut it gray (follows josh)
Josh: so i know your not a sports fan but I am determined to turn you into the mini version of me so
Lexie: let me guess you got me a Miami jersey
Josh: yup (tosses her it) try it on
Lexie's pov
I went to the bathroom and put looked at the size which said extra small but jersey's run big so we'll see. I took off my tube top and put on the purple and blue Nike Miami jersey which literally went down to my knees and walked out of the bathroom.

Josh: (laughs) it's huge on you but I like it
Lexie: you think no but seriously I like it thank you
Josh: your welcome want to make a TikTok we haven't done one together in a while
Lexie: is that the only reason you wanted to get matching jersey's (jokes)
Josh: (scoffs) no
Lexie: (playfully rolls her eyes) suree but yeah let's go ahead and do one, oh let's do the throwback one where I jump and you catch me and then swing me side to side
Josh: okay
Josh's pov
I set up the phone and presses record and then waited for the sound of the kiss and lex jumped into my arms and I caught her and swung her side to side till the audio ended and I captioned it " with my mini me this week 😁" and then posted it and put my phone down and then playfully threw lex on the bed.

Lexie: hey!
Josh: what?
Lexie: don't throw me on the bed (crosses her arms)
Josh: want me to do it again?
Lexie: no
Josh: come here
Lexie's pov
I bolted off Josh's bed and ran out of this room and down the stairs with josh and heard Josh's footsteps right behind me, I ran to the living room and got behind Kio.

Kio: what did you do?
Lexie: nothing Josh's chasing me
Kio: oh okay
Josh: hand her over Kio (catches up to him)
Kio: hand who over?
Josh: you know who
Kio: hmm no I don't
(Lexie takes advantage and gets out from behind kio's back and keeps running until she run's into buddy and trips)
Lexie: shit
Griffin: are you okay? (Walks up to her since she's the closest)
Lexie: yeah I am good
Josh: (catches up to them) what happened?
Griffin: lex was running and tripped over buddy, why were you running anyway (looks at her)
Josh: I was chasing her
Griffin: (shakes his head) you both are children, also I was going to get everyone because I was thinking we can go to Q's Billard club for lunch
Josh: okay call everybody
Griffin: EVERYONE WHO LIVES HERE GET IN THE TRILLER VAN!!
Lexie's pov
Not even a few minutes later we were in the triller van driving to this new restaurant I was sitting next to Bryce and josh and was looking out the Window when I felt my phone vibrate and I rolled my eyes because James texted me once again about the choreo, we were supposed to have half of it done already and show Cassidy this week and we haven't done a full minute of the song yet. And before you say anything yes I am aware it's my fault.. I am not motivated anymore like I was and it sucks but it's true, but I also know that it's not just up to me if I fail then James fails too... so I answered his text.

Lexie's pov
We walked into the restaurant which has an air hockey table and a pool table so we got seated at the table and again I sat between josh and Bryce. I know I am being clingy right now but I don't care I haven't been away from josh since I moved in so a week felt like a long time. Then looked at the menu and saw they had grilled cheese sandwiches so I decided to just get that with a small coke and fries. While we waited for the food Blake and Noah went to play air hockey while the rest of us went to play pool well I was just watching them play pool until my eyes spotted a vending machine. I looked up at josh who was talking to Bryce and pulled on his hoodie to get his attention.

Josh: (looks down at her) what's up?
Lexie: can we go to the vending machine please please please
Josh: (laughs) okay come on
(They walk over to the vending machine)
Josh: which one do you want?
Lexie: the mini hello kitty (points at it)
Josh: alright well they don't call me never lose josh for nothing right (looks at it and puts a dollar in)
(Josh puts his hand on the lever and then moves it to where the hello kitty is and then presses the button for the hook to pick it up but misses)
Lexie: one more time Joshy please
Josh: okay (puts the dollar in and tries again this time grabbing it by the ear and moving it halfway)
Lexie: you were so close one more time!
Josh: okay I'll make you deal, I get the hello kitty and you eat all your food okay?
Lexie: deal just try and get it please
Josh: okay
Lexie's pov
I watched josh pick up the hello kitty again and this time he got it and dropped into the hole so I bent down and grabbed it, hugged it and let out a little squeal it was so cute!

(Lexie and josh walk back over to the group and sit down where the food is and Blake sees Lexie with the hello kitty)

Blake: you spoil her
Josh: she's my princess (kisses the top of her head) take a bite of your sandwich
Lexie: I will (picks it up and bites it)
Griffin: so what? We have to bribe you now to eat
Lexie: yes! (Laughs)
Noah: (looks at Lexie) hey so I was thinking one of these days we'll hang out with Dixie and Charlie sound good?
Lexie: yeah (takes another bite and sips her coke)
Kio: I have a question for Bryce
Bryce: that was random but okay
Kio: why were you so mad with Noah's prank earlier?
Bryce: you guys could tell I was mad?
Griffin: yeah
Blake: Kio has a point why were you so pissed though, usually you wouldn't have gotten that upset
Noah: what was happening?
Bryce: dude it was the paparazzi earlier today I was at saddle ranch and I was like "dude can you just not film me" and I had to ask him three times and I get it that's there job but they are legit making a living off of our drama
Josh: I get it dude, that's like another reason why I stayed in Miami last week because I knew if I didn't I would have had paparazzi all over me last week
Bryce: exactly and they were already hounding me over the cheating allegations so I took my anger out on you guys and I am sorry for that
Noah: nah man I get it that prank just happened to be bad timing
Lexie: you think (takes another bite of her sandwich)
Bryce: anyway taking the attention off of me how was your week with Jaden? (Looks at Lexie)
Lexie: you mean Jaden and the bitch (rolls her eyes)
Griffin: hey, we are in public don't curse
Lexie: sorry (mumbles) but it was okay I guess
Kio: we saw the prank you pulled, have to admit it was funny
Lexie: yeah I guess (laughs) I didn't make it easy for them let's just say that
Blake: do you think that you'll be able to give ness a chance at least?
Lexie: Jaden asked me the same thing earlier and I said no I don't like her and I never will
Noah: what if you just pretend to like her then so you don't get in so much trouble
Josh: yeah lex make your life easier and just listen to them it's not that hard
Lexie: I shouldn't have to listen to her, maybe Jaden but I don't owe her any type of respect (picks up a fry)
Bryce: no one is saying she does but we are saying make your life easier, it's not about what ness deserves or doesn't it's just about you minimizing the trouble you get into
Lexie: I guess (takes a sip of her coke)
Josh's pov
We finished eating and lex ate both halves of the sandwich and half her fries which is more then what she usually does so I was proud of her, we also ended up getting a lava cake and split it which lex only had a few bites but it's better then nothing after we got the check and paid and headed to the car and drove home. When we got home we noticed Ant's car parked in the driveway and walked into the house and as soon as lex saw Avani she ran up to her and hugged her.

Lexie: Vani I have missed you
Avani: me too, I am sorry I haven't been around much I have been busy but how are you after everything?
Lexie: I am okay but can we stop talking about it? I don't want to think about it anymore
Anthony: yeah sure we'll stop bringing it up but you have to give me a hug first
Lexie: okay (gets off Avani and hugs him)
Griffin: well since we are all here how about a movie night
Lexie: yes! Can we build the fort too?
Bryce: go get the blankets
Lexie: okay!
Lexie's pov
I went upstairs and grabbed all the blankets we hand and brought them down where the boys started setting up the teens and vani and I made popcorn. Eventually everything was set up and I was curled under the sheets with Joshy who had his arm around my shoulder while I lay my head on his chest with my arms wrapped around him. Griffin was looking for the movie and we finally settled on Yes Day since it was new on Netflix and it was "age appropriate" I shook my head but agreed anyway because it turned out to be a really funny movie but in the middle of it my mind started to drift and think about our old movie nights. My mind didn't mean to drift it just did and it got me sad, I missed Jaden being with us.. even if I am mad at him I wish things were the way it used to be it's not fair and I only realized tears were streaming down my cheeks because josh wiped one away and looked down at me.

Lexie: I m m miss j Jaden (cries)
Josh: aww we can call him if you want
Lexie: no I mean I miss him being with us and watching movies and how it used to be (cries even harder)
(The boys look at her sadly and josh pulls her in for a hug)
Josh: shh shh it's okay lex, I know things are different now but we have to make it work (runs his fingers through her hair)
Lexie: I don't want to make it work, I just want to turn back time (sobs)
Josh: I know you do trust me I know but we can't, calm down shh
Josh's pov
Damnit usually when she gets like this Jaden sings to her until she calms down but Jaden's not here so the only thing I could do was just hold her while she cried and kept telling her it was going to be okay until she fell asleep.

Josh: I am going to take her up to bed
Bryce: okay get one of us you need too
Josh: okay
(Josh picks her up in his arms and walks to his room as he lays her down in the bed and then pulls out his phone to call Jaden)

Josh: hey babe, how was your day after dropping off lex?
Jaden: it was alright I was able to go to the studio for a bit and then just chilled at the house with Q and coop how about you? How was she?
Josh: she was good, we went out to eat and she pretty much ate everything only because I got her hello kitty from the vending machine
Jaden: (laughs) bribery I should try it, did she behave?
Josh: yeah
Jaden: great so it's me she has a vendetta against again
Josh: she'll move on from it but listen.. she broke down during movie night tonight
Jaden: why?
Josh: we did a fort and we were just watching and next thing I know she was crying saying she was missing you but she missed us together and how things used to be
Jaden: at least she's opening up to one of us... is she okay now?
Josh: yeah but she pretty much cried herself to sleep because she didn't have you to sing to her
Jaden: stop your going to break my heart more then it already is
Josh: I am sorry babe I don't mean to it's just she's obviously bottling up stuff with you then she is over here
Jaden: yeah because she's more angry with me, that makes sense.. maybe since she's with you this week you can try and get her into little space more, she was in it for one day last week only
Josh: yeah but remember Callie said she slips into little space when she's comfortable or feeling safe and I am not saying she doesn't feel safe with you but she's probably not comfortable in the new house yet, or with coop and Sab and I am not even going to mention ness

Josh: I know but all I am saying is wait for her to be more comfortable and yes I'll get her to slip more this week so she can relax
Jaden: thanks I am going to get some sleep because I have to meet Travis early tomorrow
