Friday
Knock knock knock
(Jaden groans and walks over to the door to see ness standing in the hall)
Nessa: morning
Jaden: what time is it?
Nessa: six thirty and we have to be at seven thirty so we have an hour to pack
Jaden: fuck I didn't even tell Lexie we were going last night
Nessa: maybe that's a good thing
Jaden: what do you mean?
Nessa: just pack her stuff while she's sleeping and wake her up when we get to the airport that way she doesn't give you a hard time
Jaden: (stays quiet for a minute) you have a point but when we get to the airport it's going to be hell
Nessa: at least we'll be there
Jaden: (sighs) fine I'll pack her stuff and then wake her up
Nessa: okay I am going to go get ready (leaves the room)
Jaden's pov
I looked over at Lexie who was curled in a ball and fisting the covers with her little hands and quietly got off the bed so I wouldn't wake her up. I grabbed my duffel bag from the closet and started packing clothes for three days and a suit for the wedding along with my hairbrush, toothbrush and gel and zipped it up. Then I walked over to Lexie's room and grabbed her pink duffel bag she took to Josh's and packed her some outfits during the day, a few outfits In case she went into little space, pajamas along with some sneakers and sandals and a pink dress for the wedding and a few other things she might need and figured she could just use Nessa's hair stuff so that we wouldn't be overpacking, I got her phone, charger and headphones and put it in her carry on. After packing everything I put all three bags in the trunk of the car and went upstairs to get ness and Lexie.

Jaden: ness I already put your bags in the car are you ready?
Nessa: thanks you didn't have to and yeah I was just telling coop we were leaving
Jaden: oh okay I am going to get Lexie and you get in the car
Nessa: okay
(Jaden walks into the room to lex still in the same position so he quietly walks over and picks her up and she lets out a few whines)
Jaden: shh shh it's okay (cradles her like a baby and stands up)
Lexie: (mumbles) bubba
Jaden: shh it's okay go back to sleep
Lexie: (mumbles) where are we going?
Jaden: don't worry just sleep and ask questions later
Lexie: hmm okay (lays her head on Jaden's chest)
Jaden's pov
I waited till she was fully asleep before putting her in the back of the car and got in the driver's seat and started driving to the airport. Thirty minutes later we arrived and I got out the bags and here comes the part I was dreading waking up Lexie, now if I could just carry her through security I would but I can't so after I parked the car I went around to the back and lightly shook her shoulder.

Jaden: lex I need you to wake up
Lexie: why (whines and opens her eyes) where are we?
Jaden: the airport...
Lexie: why...
Jaden: we are going to New Jersey to see ness's family and go to a wedding
Lexie: what!?!? Why the fuck wouldn't you tell me that Jaden!!
Jaden: in my defense I was asked yesterday and then things kind of got out of hand and I didn't have a chance to tell you I am sorry
Lexie: I don't want to go meet her family though (crosses her arms and stays in the car)
Jaden: well you weren't going to stay here and josh is in Miami for the fight so you have no choice come on get out of the car
Lexie: no
Jaden: Lexie Marie now
Lexie: no (stays sitting)
Jaden: (sighs) don't think just because it's early I won't punish you for testing my patience I am asking you one more time get out of the car Lexie Marie hossler
Lexie: NO
Nessa: Lexie we need to go through security
Lexie: cool you go to jersey and stay there but I am not going, Jaden take me back home
Jaden: no now let's go (unbuckles her seatbelt and picks her up)
Lexie: I am not kidding Jaden let me go!! (Starts hitting his back and he spanks her once)
Jaden: that's enough Lexie we are walking into the airport and you are not going to throw a scene understand
Lexie: fuck you for not telling me and fuck you for making me go this isn't fair Jaden!!
Jaden: life's not fair lex it is what it is (starts walking into the airport with ness)
Lexie's pov
Jaden didn't put me down not once not while we were checking in the bags, not while he was buying the ticket and he only put me down now that we are going through security but I looked around and this probably wasn't the smartest idea but I took it as my chance to run to the front of the airport.

Jaden: Lexie Marie hossler get back here!!! (Chasing her)
(Lexie keeps running but gets stopped by a security guard)
Lexie: let me go sir!
Security: why are you running through an airport miss?
Lexie: to escape my idiot brother and his bitchy girlfriend
Jaden: (catches up to her) Lexie Marie hossler!! I am so sorry sir
Security: I am guessing your the idiot brother (jokes)
Jaden: yes and again I am so sorry I don't know what has gotten into her (gently grabs her arm and pulls her away from the security guard)
Security: no problem just make sure it doesn't happen again
Jaden: don't worry she won't leave my sight (glares at her) let's go
Lexie's pov
Jaden pulled me away from the security guard and and towards the security checkpoint where ness was putting her shoes on and I stood in front of the X ray thing.

Security: man I am going to need you to step through
Lexie: I am not going through there because you see there's been a mistake I am not flying to jersey
Jaden: don't listen to her she's my younger sister and she's just trying to be difficult and if you need to verify it you can look at both our ID's (passes it to the man)
Security: (looks at the ID's and then at Lexie) mam you need to step through or I'll have one of the other guard's pat you down which we try and avoid with minors
Lexie: I am not going through because I am not going to jersey
(The people in the line start to complain from waiting so Jaden walks over to her and whispers in her ear)
Jaden: Lexie Marie hossler I promise you that if you don't walk through the X-ray right now I am taking your phone the rest of the weekend and as soon as we are on the plane I will drag you to the family restroom and spank you so that the rest of the flight your uncomfortable
Lexie's pov
I glared at him after he said but I could tell he wasn't kidding and I would rather not be uncomfortable on the plane so I reluctantly took my shoes off and put my phone and carry on in the bin and walked through the X-Ray and after put my sneakers back on and stood next to ness while Jaden went through and since we took so long going through the checkpoint mainly my fault but I was stalling so that we didn't need to board however luck wasn't on my side because we had ten minutes to spare. Jaden picked me up so that I wouldn't run through the airport again and eventually we boarded the plane, I got sat by the window, Jaden sat in the middle and ness was in the aisle. I looked out the window just as the sun was starting come out and I got pissed all over again, I can't believe Jaden had the audacity to not tell me about New Jersey but trick me when I was asleep and drag me to the airport he's such an ass. He kept trying to talk to me since he knew I was pissed but I wasn't having it and plugged my headphones in, put them in my ears and fell a sleep leaning my head against the window.

Nessa: well that could have gone a lot worse
Jaden: you think my sister running through the airport wasn't bad enough??
Nessa: it was but she could have made us miss our flight
Jaden: (rolls his eyes) well of course you say that because you weren't the one chasing her
Nessa: your grumpy this morning
Jaden: yeah nessa I am because I knew Lexie wasn't going to make this easy and you know what I was right and like I said before your not the one who chased her in public
Nessa: at least no one thought you were kidnapping her (jokes)
Jaden: (looks at her baffled) I am going fo sleep wake me up when we land (closes his eyes)
Nessa's pov
Eventually both Jaden and Lexie were asleep and I stayed up for another thirty minutes before closing my eyes and going to sleep too.

Lexie's pov
I woke up and let out a groan realizing that It wasn't a dream and that I am on my way to meet the bitch's family. I am not excited in the slightest, I don't like nessa so I don't care to meet her family, I'd rather be in Miami with the boys. Another three hours we finally landed and it was now one in the afternoon, we went to grab our bags and started walking out of the airport but of course fans spotted us and wanted pictures with "Naden" which is apparently their ship name, personally I think it's stupid bud whatever it's the fans who named them that. I even got a few fans come up to me and want pictures and told me they liked my YouTube videos which I appreciated because I am not used to fans being nice to me but it's nice for a change. Eventually we got made it to the front of the airport and as soon as nessa saw a lady who was maybe a few inches taller then ness she ran up to her and hugged her, I am going to take a wild guess and say this is her mom.

Nessa: hey mom (smiles and hugs her)
?: hey baby I have missed you so much (hugs her back and then looks at Jaden and Lexie) and you must be Jaden
Jaden: yes hi Mrs. Barrett it's nice to meet you
?: please call me Gina and you must be Lexie (looks at her and smiles)
(Lexie looks up at her and then down at her phone)
Jaden: don't be rude and say hi (takes the phone from Lexie and puts it in his pocket)
Lexie: (glares at him but looks at Gina) I am sure your very nice and everything but it doesn't really matter because I don't want to be here
Gina: uh well okay then how about we get going, are you guys hungry it was a long flight
Nessa: starving (laughs)
Gina: great we'll tell dad and Julian to meet us at Cocina Candela
Nessa: oh my gosh yes they don't have that in LA, (looks at Jaden) it's got the best Latin food in jersey your going to love it
Jaden: (smiles at her) can't wait to try it babe (kisses her cheek)
Lexie: I don't eat Latin food
Jaden: (glares at her) your going to try and while your at it lose the attitude I am not kidding
Lexie: let me think... no
(They continue walking to the car and Jaden puts the bags in the trunk)
Jaden: you guys can get in the car I am going to have a moment with Lexie
Gina: okay
(gets in the driver's seat and ness gets in the passenger seat)
Jaden: I am going to say this one time Lexie Marie I am not kidding I know your not happy about being here but you will NOT be disrespectful in front of her mother or the rest of her family, that is not the way josh and I are raising you and I will not hesitate to punish you anymore this is your last warning get in the car and apologize am I a hundred percent clear?
Lexie: crystal (rolls her eyes)
Jaden: get in (opens the car door)
Lexie's pov
I sat in the car and just looked out the window, I felt Jaden glaring at me from the other side of the car waiting for me to apologize to ness's mom for my behavior but I wasn't going to. Listen I know I am acting like a bitch but i don't want to be here and I don't want to be nice to these people so I am just going to stay quiet for the rest of the car ride but of course the universe has other plans.

Gina: so Lex, nessa tells me your fifteen right?
Lexie: almost sixteen
Gina: so are you in school or have any hobbies that you like to do?
Lexie: nope
Nessa: she's a dancer and she's getting into the social media world too
Lexie: I have my own voice nessa if I wanted to answer I would have
Jaden's pov
Lord give me patience to not pull her over my lap right now in the car, lord give me patience to not pull her over my lap right now no not working I still want to punish her for her behavior. What did I just tell her before getting in the car!? But of course she goes and does the complete opposite I am over it, I have had enough. The rest of the car ride Gina was asking me questions and trying to get to know me a bit more so of course I answered her politely and tried to be as respectful as I could because even though ness and I aren't a real couple I really didn't want to leave a bad impression either. We finally pulled up to the restaurant and I told ness to go inside with Lexie while I stayed back to talk to Gina.

Jaden: I just wanted to apologize on behalf of Lexie she's been in a mood since this morning before we get on the plane, not that that excuses her behavior
Gina: it's okay jaden she's a teenager I understand but I appreciate you saying something about it
Jaden: no problem and I'll make sure she stays in check
Gina: I don't know how much you can keep a teenager in check but I understand why you want to now come on let's go eat I am sure your hungry
Jaden: yeah sounds good
(They get out of the car and walk into the restaurant to see ness sitting with Lexie and explaining the menu to her)
Lexie: I don't want anything
Nessa: I don't think Jaden's going to like that very much lex you should eat something
Lexie: I don't like anything on this menu
Nessa: you've never even tried any of it so how do you know that?
Lexie: I just do
Nessa: (shakes her head) your so stubborn Lexie
Lexie: tell me something I don't know
(Nessa looks up and sees jaden and her mother walking over to them)
Nessa: oh great you can deal with her
Jaden: what now?
Lexie: I don't want to eat anything here
Jaden: too bad (looks at the menu with her) look they have churrassco you eat that at boa all the time
Lexie: yeah and do you know how fattening that is
Jaden: you need to gain weight lex you heard the doctor gray she said you were ten pounds underweight
Lexie: boo hoo I don't care I am not eating it
Jaden: I know what your doing and it's not working
Lexie: what am I doing?
(Jaden is about to respond when a little boy runs up to nessa)

Drew: how's my princess doing? (Walks over to nessa)
Nessa: hi dad (smiles and hugs her)

Drew: that's good and you must be Jaden (looks at him)
Jaden: yes sir it's nice to meet you Mr. Barrett
Drew: just call me drew, mr. Barrett sounds old
Jaden: (laughs) okay
Drew: and who are you? (Looks at Lexie)
Lexie: Jaden's sister
Jaden: her name is Lexie

Lexie: wish I could say the same
Jaden: alright that's enough your coming with me (pulls her up from the chair) I am sorry she's been out of sorts all morning, I'll be right back
Lexie: let go of me, your dragging me across the floor, seriously Jaden let go of my arm!
Jaden: one I am not even pulling you that hard so stop complaining I wouldn't have to drag you in the first place if you just listened to me (opens the family bathroom and pulls her over his lap)
Lexie: are you serious right now we are in public!
Jaden: (shrugs his shoulders) should have thought about that before being disrespectful to her family after I told you not to, plus the stunt you pulled at the airport your getting twenty and if you continue with this behavior I won't hesitate to punish you when we get to her house (starts)

(Jaden pulls her up and sits her on his lap and wipes a few tears that fell)

Lexie: yeah (rolls her eyes)
Jaden: (smacks her thigh) do I need to give you another set of fifteen to get rid of the attitude or are you done?
Lexie: (mumbles) I am done
Jaden: speak up
Lexie: I am done
Jaden: good now let's go
Lexie's pov
Jaden let me rinse my face so it wouldn't look like I had cried a little before walking back to the table and ordering me the churrasco that I specifically said I didn't want but of course he doesn't listen and does it anyway. Why is that he gets to not listen to what I want but when I don't listen to him I get in trouble for it? It's not fair. While we waited for the food Gina and drew both tried to talk to me but I just gave short answers with as little possible attitude so Jaden couldn't lecture me, and her little brother Julian was nothing like Will. I actually like Will but Julian is just an annoying kid who keeps trying to get everyone's Attention by trying to do something cute or talk to Jaden about music. Eventually the food came and I just played around with my fork without taking a bite.

Drew: did you not like the food Lexie?
Lexie: no
Jaden: she's just trying to be difficult (picks up her fork and places it front of her mouth) open now
Lexie: (rolls her eyes) fine (opens it and takes a bite)
Jaden: eat normally or I'll feed you
Lexie: (mumbles) fine
Jaden's pov
I sighed because I can tell the difference when Lexie doesn't want to eat because she's feeling triggered or when she doesn't want to eat just to be difficult and right now she just wanted to be difficult because if she was triggered she would be holding onto me and asking me not to eat or her anxiety would be triggered and In that case I am super patient because I know it's not her fault she's triggered, but right now I have every right to be mad because I literally told her in the bathroom to knock it off. I took a bite of my own food and looked over at lex to finally see she was eating.

An hour later we were all done and got back in the car and started driving to her house which was a nice two story with several guest rooms. Gina was going to give me the room next to ness's but Jaden explained to her that I get anxiety sleeping by myself especially in a new place so thank you Jaden for exposing me. I had just put my phone to charge when ness's brother came into the room.

Julian: ness and I are going to play board games do you and Jaden want to play? (Looks at Lexie)
Lexie: no I don't do board games
Jaden: I'll be right there buddy, ignore her she'll come down in a little
Julian: okay (walks downstairs)
Jaden: (looks at Lexie) are you really going to stay up here?
Lexie: yes
Jaden: fine suit yourself but if your going to come down that attitude better be gone (walks downstairs to see Nessa and Julian setting up the game and sits down)
Jaden: what are we playing?
Julian: shoots and ladders
Nessa: where's lex?
Jaden: she'll come down later
Nessa: oh okay

Jaden: Lexie is making it impossible to at least enjoy it in the slightest
Josh: that explains it, well how's ness's family treating you? I have only met them a couple times but they seemed nice
Jaden: yeah they are actually really welcoming but if I am being honest I prefer your family 🥺
Josh: aww that's cute well if it helps they prefer you too
Jaden: hey, I never asked you but do they know that mine and ness's relationship is fake because your sister unfollowed me
Josh: now they know but at first they didn't and they kept insulting you especially Liv and I couldn't take the way they were talking about you so I told them the truth, they aren't even on social media anyway
Jaden: yeah I know it's okay, I was just worried they'll hate me when we get back together

Josh: fine I have been filming BFF's like all day because Dave wants to take advantage of having all the creators in one place, we just finished up with Taylor's

I was sulking in the bedroom and listening to music when I got a FaceTime call from Joshy so I set my phone against the wall so it was balanced and answered the FaceTime.

After josh hung up, I sighed because I was bored in the room and decided to stop being petty for now at least and go downstairs to see what Jaden was up to. I walked downstairs and saw they were playing shoots and ladders... not going to lie that was my favorite game as a kid but it's whatever I simply walked over to the couch and sat down.

(They pick up shoots and ladders and then Julian turns to look at Lexie)
Julian: want to make the popcorn with me?
Lexie: (sighs and stands up from the cough) I guess
Julian: come on let's go (grabs her hand and pulls her to the kitchen)
Nessa: I think Julian has a crush on Lexie (jokes)
Jaden: (laughs) he's seven ness
Nessa: exactly it's cute
Lexie's pov
I helped Julian make the popcorn and when we made enough for all of us we walked back into the living room to see all the blankets on the floor along with some pillows and Jaden and ness laying on the carpet next to each other... I didn't like it so I made my way to the middle of them while Julian stayed on ness's left side. The movie started and I was just planning to be on my phone the whole time but Jaden had a different idea and took my phone so I had no choice but to watch the movie. Not going to lie I found myself entranced with all the bright colors and the girl's cat in the movie who kept attacking one of the boys because he was part fish.

Lexie: bubba milk
Jaden: do you mind if I make her a bottle?
Nessa: no go for it
Jaden: thanks (stands you from the couch)
Lexie: bubba you going?
Jaden: I am going to make your bottle
Lexie: me go with you (makes grabby hands)
Jaden: I'll be right back, Julian do you have any toys so you and Lexie can play while you watch the movie?
Julian: yeah I have two stuffed animals I'll be right back (stands up walks to his room)
Nessa's pov
Julian came back with a stuffed tiger I gave him once from build a bear and a dolphin he got from an aquarium we went to one time.

Julian: here you go (hands her the dolphin)
Lexie's pov
I play with Julian and den go back to wooking at da tv to see da boys turn to fish again but then look at da fin again. Bubba was taking long wit my milk and look at fin and put it in my mouth but spit it out when I got fuzzy stuff in my mouth and started crying because I want my milk.

Nessa: Jaden is her bottle almost ready she's really fussy now
Jaden: yeah I am back (walks into the living room and picks her up and sits on the couch) here you go baby (puts the bottle to her lips)

Da milk was warm and it felt good going down my throat, I kept sucking on da milk and closed my eyes till I fell sleep.

Nessa: twelve it's late bud you should get some sleep
Julian: okay goodnight sissy I am glad your home (hugs her)
Nessa: I am happy to be home get some sleep

(Julian walks away leaving him and ness alone)
Nessa: thanks for being so nice to him even though we aren't really dating...
Jaden: I am not going to be mean to your family ness regardless if we are dating or not we used to be friends remember
Nessa: yeah I screwed that up... I am sorry Jaden to both of you which is why I have tried to make it up to her and haven't snapped at her even though today I wanted too
Jaden: (let's out a light laugh) me too she doesn't make it easy but as for fixing things... I forgive you, I am not saying we are going to go back to being friends I am just saying I forgive you
Nessa: (looks up at him) thank you Jaden (walks over and hugs him)
Jaden: your welcome, now I am going to get some sleep and put her to bed
Nessa: okay see you in the morning

I walked into the guest room and placed Lexie on the bed and then took my shirt off, kept my sweats and got into bed and closed my eyes.
