Josh's pov
I woke up hearing raindrops hitting the windows and I looked outside and saw that it was raining in LA for once. I have lived here almost two years and can count on my hands the amount of time I have seen it rain but I am supposed to film for YouTube today fuck and it was a good idea too. I pulled out my phone to text the guy I was going to film with to see if he would still be down to do it even though it was raining.

Jay: yeah it's not pouring so we should be fine how do you want to do it?
Josh: I'll pick you up and bring you to the sway house and then you'll stay in the car while I bring out the boys one by one

I got out of bed and pulled on an orange jersey with jeans and then I looked over at lex who was starting to open her eyes so I decided to ask if she wanted to come with me.

Josh: are you awake?
Lexie: kind of why?
Josh: do you want to help me prank the boys for a YouTube video?
Lexie: omg yesss what are we doing?
Josh: you'll find out just go get dressed and meet me downstairs
Lexie: okay can we stop at Dunkin I am craving a donut
Josh: okay
Lexie: yay! Okay I'll get up and get dressed now (gets off the bed and walks to her room)
Lexie's pov
I looked through my closet and saw that it was raining so I decided on just a pair of sweats with a long sleeve shirt and sneakers and just left my hair down and walked downstairs to see josh by the door and keys in his hand. We left the house and josh started driving to Dunkin while I connected my phone to the aux and just listened to music.

Jaden's pov
I opened my eyes and realized that josh wasn't in the bed next to me and neither was Lexie so I walked downstairs and saw that the kitchen was empty along with the living room and the backyard and then I walked to the room we have buddy in because she was scratching at the door and grabbed her leash and decided to walk her while I pulled out my phone to call josh to see where he was.

Lexie: okay so we got Dunkin's now will you tell me where we are going
Josh: you'll see
(Josh drives for a few more minutes before pulling up to a house and takes his phone out to text Jay and a few minutes later he comes out with a box in his hand)
Lexie: josh what's in the box?
Josh: open it and find out
Lexie: okay (opens the lid and sees the large snake in the box) NO WAY!!
josh: I can't tell if your scared or surprised
Lexie: surprised you know Jaden's going to kill you right
Josh: oh yeah totally but his reaction will be priceless
Lexie: I am not going to disagree with you there it'll be hilarious
Josh: why didn't you get scared?
Lexie: because I don't care (shrugs her shoulders)
Josh: okay so when we get there lex your gonna call Jaden to come out and ask him to help us bring down the food okay?

(Twenty minutes later they pull up to the driveway and Josh pulls out the camera)

Josh: welcome back to the vlog today we are gonna be doing something a little bit different I got Lexie and Jay in the back say what's up
Lexie: hi (waves to the camera)

Josh: okay so today as you can see we are in my car and I have a snake with me and we are gonna be bringing people from the sway house and scaring them with the snake
Lexie: Jaden's gonna hate this (laughs)
Josh: that is true so guys like and subscribe because I am probably gonna be single after this
Lexie: oh yeah definitely anyways should I call him?
Josh: yeah

Jaden: what's up?
Lexie: can you come help bring the food inside?
Jaden: yeah I'll be right down
(Five minutes later Jaden's walking down the driveway and he gets to the car)
Josh: can you step inside for a minute
Jaden: why...
josh: there's some stuff in the back that I need you to grab
Jaden: why can't Lexie do it?
Lexie: I don't have enough hands
Jaden: fine
(Jaden opens the car door and sits down in the chair while josh puts the camera in front of the dashboard)
Jaden: oh are you vlogging? Hello everyone
(Lexie looks at Jay and nods her head and Jay pulls out the snake and puts it on his shoulder and Jaden turns around and sees it)
Jaden: AHH OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!!
(As the snake gets closer Jaden opens the car door and jumps out)
Josh: ohhh we didn't lock it!
Lexie: damn that was a bad move on our part
Jaden: I DON'T FUCK WITH SNAKES! I SAID NO SNAKES AND NO SPIDERS
(Lexie and josh are just laughing at Jaden)
Jay: it's just a puppy dog

Lexie: (laughs) that was the highlight of my week good idea josh (high fives him)
Jaden: using the snake two times for a bit huh he was like nah I have already used it once why would I use it again because your views are going DOWN
josh: (laughs and mumbles) he's not wrong (turns to josh) so are we breaking up?
Jaden: yeah I am not gonna date someone who tries to scare me with snakes

(A few minutes later Bryce comes out with a blindfold)

Lexie: listen Bryce I don't need to hear about what you and Addison do in the bedroom

(Jaden sits him in the passenger seat of the car and takes his blindfold off and Jay puts the snake in front of him)

(Bryce gets out of the car and Jaden comes back out with Anthony)

(Jay puts the snake over him and Ant opens his eyes)

Josh: if you make one wrong move he will completely choke you out

(Jaden brings out Quinton and he sits in the passenger seat and Jay puts the snake in front of him)

Josh: i need new friends who are actually gonna freak out (shakes his head)
Jay: this snake can get over 25 feet long

Jay: everyone was into the snake
Josh: except for Jaden

Josh: yeah and then Ant had a mini panic attack

Josh: alright that's it for this video and I'll see you guys next week (cuts the camera) alright I gotta drop Jay off, lex do you want to come with or stay here?
Lexie: If I stay can I play with the snake longer?
Josh: sure...
Lexie: okay I'll stay
Quinton: alright I am out, I think griffin wanted me to help him set up something
Josh: alright we'll be back in a bit
(Quinton gets out of the car and josh starts driving back to Jay's house when Jaden's phone starts to ring)

Jaden: hey Travis what's up?
Travis: hey this is gonna sound super last minute but I just got off the phone with the label and they want us to fly to Vegas today to sign some last minute paper work tomorrow
Jaden: oh uh okay your right it is super last minute but it's work so I guess I am gonna have to how long are we going to be there?
Travis: literally twenty four hours we leave today and you can fly back tomorrow night if you want
Jaden: okay what time do i need to meet you at the airport?
Travis: it's eleven now so does one work for you?
Jaden: yeah I'll probably have lex stay with the boys... although I don't know how she's going to feel about it I really don't see the point in putting her on a plane just for one day, I might bring josh though is that okay?
Travis: yeah no problem we can just get him the ticket when he gets here
Jaden: okay I'll see you later
Travis: later bro
(Jaden ends the call and puts his phone in his pocket while he calls the boys down)
Kio: what's up?
Jaden: so Travis just called me and said I need to fly to Vegas to sign some paperwork tomorrow for the label, I am going to see if josh wants to come but can you guys stay with Lexie?
Griffin: yeah of course you don't have to ask
Jaden: I know but I don't how she's going to feel with me leaving
Blake: it's one day she'll be fine
Jaden: I hope so I am going to go pack a bag can you tell josh to come up to the room when he gets here?

Jaden: thanks guys (walks upstairs)
Noah: (looks at the boys) so who else thinks lex is going to have a melt down when she finds out

(Thirty minutes later josh and Lexie are back at the house and this time they brought McDonald's for everyone)
Griffin: did you eat already lex?
Lexie: yeah josh saw me eat my cheeseburger
Griffin: good (takes a bite out of his burger) oh josh, Jaden wants you to go upstairs for a minute
Josh: okay...
(Josh puts his burger down and walks upstairs to the room and opens it)
Josh: I swear Jaden if your trying to get me back for pranking you this (looks at him packing an overnight bag) what are you doing?
Jaden: Travis called and said I need to go to Vegas to sign some paperwork and I was wondering if you want to come with me (zips his bag and walks over to josh)
Josh: Vegas? Like today?
Jaden: hmm (wraps his arms around his waist)
Josh: what about Lexie?
Jaden: she'll stay with the boys there's no point in making her take a plane for one day
Josh: it's just one day?
Jaden: yeah but it's one day that we'll get to ourselves if you come (kisses his neck), you, me a bed to ourselves not to mention the hotel bathroom has a bath the size of a jacuzzi (kisses his shoulder) what do you say?
Josh: well you do like your baths (jokes)
Jaden: I'd like them even better if you were with me
Josh: okay okay but let's agree that when we go we unplug I know your gonna be working tomorrow and stuff but for today when we land we just focus on us deal?

Josh: okay I'll pack now and then we have to tell Lexie

Ant: it's raining what do you want to do?

Bryce: play on your phone like a normal teenager

Lexie: monopoly!
Quinton: sure why not go bring the board game
Lexie: okay! (Sprints upstairs to grab the board game)

Lexie: I hate you Quinton!

(Josh and Jaden walk downstairs)
Kio: guys can you stop screaming?
Lexie: shut the hell up Kio you don't get to talk after stealing my railroad

Jaden: hey guys put your game on pause we need to talk

(Jaden walks over to Lexie and sits her in front of him and josh)
Lexie: what's going on?
Jaden: baby josh and I need to go out of town for the day and we'll be back tomorrow night but for today your going to stay with the boys okay?
Lexie: what no I want to come with you
Noah: ouch I take offense to that (mocks hurt)

Josh: you can stay with one of the other boys in their room
Lexie: but I want you guys... and you said we could look at dance studios today
Jaden: I know baby but it's raining today so we probably weren't gonna go anyway there's no reason for you to go on a plane for one day and I plus gonna be at the label and josh is still gonna take business calls while I am at the there and you have school tomorrow

Jaden: (looks at his watch) in an hour but you know how LA traffic can be so we gotta head out now

The next five minutes consisted of me trying to convince lex to let go of me and when that didn't work Bryce had to literally pry her away from me and she started crying hysterically it broke my heart I really didn't want to leave her unless she calmed down.

Lexie was trying to fight my grip and run to Jaden while they were walking inside the airport but when she realized she wasn't going anywhere we got in the car and she started crying hysterically.

Anthony's pov
Twenty minutes into the car ride and Lexie still has not calmed down and I think all the boys have had enough and so have I so I started thinking and then I remembered josh told me that he keeps a spare pacifier in a box in the glove compartment so I asked Kio to pass it to me since he was in the passenger seat. Kio passed me the purple pacifier and while lex was screaming I put the pacifier in her mouth and held it but she just pushed my arm away and wasn't having it. I sighed and unlocked her seatbelt and pulled her onto my lap and put the pacifier in her mouth again and just let her cry until she eventually tired herself out and we got to the sway house and I laid her on the couch because I didn't want her waking up in the room alone and the boys and I just decided to watch tv because it was still raining so there wasn't much to do. Avani was visiting her parents this weekend so I wasn't able to see her but that's okay honestly I enjoyed just being with the boys for a bit.

Lexie's pov
I opened my eyes and looked around and saw Kiki, griffy, Ant, Q, Noah and bake but no Joshy and bubba. Where are they I got off from the couch while the boys were still watching tv and distracted and went to their room and didn't see them but I found buddy so I picked her up and took her downstairs and walked over to griffy with buddy in my arms and pacifier in my mouth and tugged on his shirt and that's when he realized I woke up.

Lexie: where bubba and Joshy?
Griffin: they went somewhere and they'll be back tomorrow baby

I thought teenage Lexie was stubborn as hell but I am starting to think little Lexie is worse. We've tried to distract her with everything and anything and she's not having it she wants Jaden but we can't make that happen but then I had an idea and went to YouTube.

Jaden's pov
We landed in Vegas and sent a quick text to the boys to let them know we landed safely and I texted Travis to let him know that I was shutting my phone off for the rest of the day and josh did the same. We took a limo to the hotel and a few fans came up to us at the lobby and we took pictures with them, there was a casino at the hotel where we could play games we just couldn't gamble because we weren't twenty one yet. Once we were in the room we put our bags down and I laid on the bed and took a breath.

Josh's pov
Jaden and I were just sitting in the jacuzzi enjoying each other's company and talking and I was trying my best not to get lost into his hypnotizing blue eyes.

Josh: oh no I demand a rematch but upstairs in the room
(Josh gets out of jacuzzi and wraps a towel around his waist and Jaden stares at his abs)

Griffin: are you ready to say sorry for hitting me and go eat your pizza (looks at Lexie who's in the corner)

Griffin: okay that's another five minutes

Lexie: I miss bubba and Joshy (tears in her eyes)

(Griffin takes her to the kitchen and sits her at the table and cuts up the pizza and feeds it to her until she eats it all and she walks over to Quinton)

(A little while later Noah comes into the room and sees Quinton with a tiara on his head and he bursts out laughing)

Noah: anyways lex time for bed
Lexie: no I not tired
Noah: come it's getting late and you have school tomorrow
Lexie: but bubba not here (pouts)
Noah: you can sleep with Blake and I tonight okay? And we can call bubba before bed

Josh and I were now cuddling and sharing a cheesecake we got for dessert after eating the most amazing pasta even though it was room service when I looked over at him.

Noah: thank god your a life saver Jaden we were really worried she wasn't going to be able to sleep

Blake: yeah since we dropped you guys at the airport and she was just fussy all day, griffin even had to put her in timeout

Jaden: I hope she doesn't have a nightmare tonight
Josh: yeah hopefully but if she does the boys will be there
Jaden: yeah your right I just worry about her you know
Josh: I know me too but it is late and I don't know about you but I am exhausted especially after our bath so let's get some sleep
Jaden: yeah (yawns) I am tired too plus who knows when we are gonna have a bed to ourselves again (wraps his arms around his waist)
Josh: good point (looks at him) I love you

*sorry if this chapters a little all over the place but I really wanted josh and Jaden to have a moment to focus on their relationship and not be on parent duty 😂 plus have the boys watch Lexie but I have a really good idea for the next chapter so if I don't update again tonight then definitely tomorrow :)
