Jaden: (groans and answers his phone) hello?
Travis: Jaden I just heard about the shooting at the hotel you guys are at, are you guys okay!? How's Lexie?
Jaden: first take a breath and second it wasn't really a shooting it was more of a one shot and done type of thing and it was complete self defense her ex stalked her all the way over here and tried to kidnap her and third I wish I could tell you how lex is but she went into a state of shock last night and she's sleeping right now but if it's all over the news then I am guessing it's all over social media right now too
Travis: yeah

Jaden: hold on kells is on the other line, I'll call you back
Travis: don't worry about it I just wanted to call and make sure everyone was okay and I am sure kells is freaking out too so answer him
Jaden: thanks bro I'll talk to you later
Travis: sounds good
(Jaden hangs up on travis and calls kells)
Kells: thank fucking god you called back I swear I was about to book a ticket to New York and see if you guys were okay myself
Jaden: I appreciate that bro but there's no need we are all okay well for the most part we are all alive and that's something to be thankful for
Kells: how's lex?
Jaden: I don't know she was in shock yesterday so we'll see what today brings
Kells: are you guys flying back today?
Jaden: that's still the plan but I'll talk to the guys and make sure they still want too

(Jaden sighs and puts the phone down just as josh opens his eyes)
Josh: good morning
Jaden: morning babe
Josh: how did you sleep?
Jaden: good for the most part you?

Jaden: (groans) who's at the door?
Josh: I don't know but I'll check if you want me too

Josh: okay (gets off the bed and opens the door to see blake, Amelie, Noah and Dixie) where the fuck have you guys been?
Blake: we rented at the hotel fashion week was hosting last night because we figured it would be easier then driving back but we came back as soon as we checked Instagram this morning and heard what happened how is everyone?
Josh: good for the most part but lex went into shock yesterday and she's been asleep since so I don't know how she is to be honest
Amelie: she must have been so scared
Josh: yeah she was pretty shaken up
(They walk into the living room where Bryce, griffin and Anthony are sitting on the couch)
Bryce: Everyone's been texting me asking how lex is doing and I had to turn off my notifications because it was too much
Griffin: yeah I even got a text from Thomas and some hype members
Josh: I haven't checked my phone but I am guessing it's the same, I don't even want to know what Dave or Briana are going to say
Anthony: are you going to talk about it on BFF's
Josh: dude I haven't even processed it fully so until that happens probably not and only if lex is okay with me talking about it
Griffin: yeah that's sounds like the best idea because we really don't know how these next couple days are going to look like

Lexie's pov
I opened my eyes and the first thing I see is Jaden laying on the bed scrolling through his phone and I want to say something to him to let him know I am awake but it still feels like my voice is caught in my throat so instead I tug on his arm.

Jaden: (looks at her) hey lex your awake how are you feeling?
Lexie: (shrugs her shoulders)
Jaden: still don't feel like talking?
Lexie: (shakes her head)
Jaden: (sighs) that's okay, come here (pulls her in for a hug) I am just glad you are safe (kisses the top of her head) do you want to see everyone else?
Lexie: (nods her head)
Jaden: okay come on (picks her up in his arms and carries her out of the room to the living room)
Josh: good morning princess (walks over and kisses the top of her head) how are you?
Jaden: she still doesn't want to talk
Josh: okay don't worry about it lex talk when your ready okay?
Lexie: (nods her head)
Griffin: if she doesn't feel like talking then maybe it'll be better for her to be put in little space
Jaden: that's probably a good idea, she might still be thinking about everything and I feel her tensed up in my arms even right now
Griffin: I'll make her a bottle
Jaden: thanks (they sit on the couch)
Dixie: charli's been texting me since this morning she says she's happy your okay and she'd love to see you
Lexie: (just nods her head)
Knock knock
Anthony: I'll get it (gets up from the couch and opens the door) hey Justin, hey Clare
Justin: hey guys we brought croissants from downstairs and orange juices since we figured you wouldn't want to go down there
Josh: is there a lot of paparazzi?
Justin: yeah but they are still outside because the staff won't let them in
Josh: thank god for that at least and thanks for the breakfast
Clare: your welcome... how is she?
Josh: she's still not talking but you can come in and see her
Clare: okay
(They walk into the living room where lex is sitting on Jaden's lap holding the bottle that griffin made)
Justin: hey lex how are you?
Lexie: (shrugs her shoulders and sips her bottle)
Clare: can I give you a hug?
Lexie: (hesitates for a second before nodding her head)
Clare: I am so glad you are okay (hugs her)
Lexie: (just nods her head and then goes back to drinking her bottle)
Justin: so are you guys still planning on going to LA today?
Bryce: I think so, right Jae
Jaden: I don't know if paparazzi's going to be blocking the hotel then I can only imagine what the airport is going to look like and I don't want to make lex feel uncomfortable
Justin: you guys can fly back with us and I'll tell security to let us go through the back
Noah: are you sure?
Justin: yeah of course, Clare and I still need to pack some stuff but text me whenever you guys are ready and we'll head out
Jaden: thanks man I appreciate it
Justin: no worries, see you guys later

Lexie's pov
After Clare and Justin left I finished my bottle of milk and also ate a croissant, but I didn't feel myself slipping into little space. Instead it was like I was there but I wasn't at the same time, I don't really know how to explain but that's what it was. I could tell the boys were waiting to see if I slipped but when they realized that I was still in the same state I think they became a little upset which made me a little sad but I couldn't find my voice. Instead my eyes trailed over to the bathroom and then I remembered that I hadn't showered yesterday because I was still in shock and the boys just used wipes. But I still felt dirty because his hands were on me, he had me pinned to the ground and I felt helpless for a minute. I could feel my heart start to race the more I thought about it, my breathing increased and I knew I was triggered.

Griffin: Lexie hey Lexie do you hear my voice?
Lexie: (nods her head)
Griffin: okay good (goes to hold her hand) pay attention to my breathing yeah?
(Lexie nods her head and starts breathing normally)
Jaden: good lex just keep breathing, (rubbing her back) can you tell me what triggered it?
Lexie: (points to the bathroom)
Dixie: you want to shower?
Lexie: (nods)
Amelie: do you want help?
Lexie: (shakes her head)
Dixie: are you sure?
Lexie: (nods)
Jaden: okay.. if you need anything just yell for the girls
Lexie's pov
I nodded and got off Jaden's lap and started walking towards the bathroom but not before stopping and grabbing a pair of sweats and grabbed Jaden's sky blue and white hoodie and walked into the bathroom. I got undressed and looked at myself in the mirror and even though there were no visible marks on me, it still brought back memories from when he did leave marks on me and him touching me last night brought the same feeling of disgust right back. I turned the water on to the highest temperature and stepped in, I washed my hair first and then I scrubbed my skin until it was raw and red and then got out and wrapped a towel around me and started drying my already sensitive skin and then wrapped my hair in a towel. I got dressed and when I got back to the living room I saw the boys and their suitcases by the door and a few minutes later there was a knock on the door and Justin and Clare walked into the room with a few security guards.

Justin: alright so this is Kenny, David and Mike they are going to take us through the back but the chances of paparazzi being there is a possibility
Jaden: okay lex come here I am going to carry you
Lexie: (nods her head and walks over to him and he picks her up)
Kio: do you want to cover her with a blanket?
Jaden: yeah
Kio: here (passes him a purple blanket with pink flowers on it)
Justin: alright you guys ready to go?
Them: yeah
Lexie's pov
Jaden covered my head with the blanket but I still kept my head in the crook of his neck so there was no way paparazzi would get pictures of me right now since that's the last thing I wanted. I could feel we started walking out of the room and to the elevator and when we got outside the familiar sounds of pictures being taken were in my ear.

Once the sounds of the paparazzi died out and I could feel Jaden sitting me on his lap I knew we were in the limo now, so I took the blanket off and then let go of my grip on Jaden's shirt that I didn't realize I had till now.

Lexie: (nods her head)
Clare: the girls have been texting my phone non stop do you want me to answe them for you?
Lexie: (nods her head)
Clare's pov
I signed when I realized lex still wasn't going to talk and even though I didn't take it personal it still sucked. I took out my phone and texted the girls along with James and let everyone know she was okay and then put my phone down and just talked with the boys until we made it to where our private jet was and got out of the car.

Mike: Justin we have a problem
Justin: what?
Mike: a few paparazzi people snuck into the label where the jet is, and security is clearing them out but it may take a few minutes
Justin: okay we'll wait till we get the all clear just park away from the lane for now

Lexie's pov
We were in the car for about ten minutes before we got the all clear and we got to the lane, the boys got the luggage except Jaden who was still carrying me and fifteen minutes later we were all piled onto the jet. The boys started talking, and Clare was on her phone but I don't blame her it's not like I am doing much talking right now so I am bored. I don't want my phone because I know I am going to be tempted to check social media so that's out of the question. I looked over at the baby bag that was by josh though and saw there was a coloring book and markers sticking out so I figured what the hell why not.

Josh: what's up princess?
Lexie: (points at the baby bag)
Josh: you want your pacifier?
Lexie: (shakes her head and keeps pointing)
Jaden: your stuffies?
Lexie: (shakes her head and and keeps pointing)
Blake: she wants the coloring book and markers dummies (takes them out and passes it to her)
Josh: ohh that makes sense
Lexie: (nods her head and takes it from Blake and starts coloring)
A few minutes later
Lexie: look bubba petty fishy (points at the dolphin she's coloring)
Jaden: wait baby did you just talk?
Lexie: yeah I say look at da petty fishy
Jaden: very pretty why did you color it pink though?
Lexie: I use my inmagination
Josh: (laughs) imagination
Lexie: dats what I say dada
Clare: what else are you coloring lex?
Lexie: da sky and couds
Clare: cute can I color with you?
Lexie: yeah here go (hands her a blue marker)
Jaden: I can't tell you how relieved I am that she's at least talking right now
Griffin: yeah that's a good sign, hopefully she stays in a little space for a while, it'll give her an escape from everything

One hour later
Flight attendant: would anyone like anything to eat or drink?
Justin: yeah it's about lunch time so Clare what do you want to eat?
Clare: do we have the ramen noodles in the back?
Flight attendant: yes Clare would you like some?
Clare: please
Jaden: make that two please
Flight attendant: no problem I'll be right back
Five minute later
Josh: lex time to eat, take a break from coloring
Lexie: but dada I almost done with da seewead
Josh: you can finish when your done eating
Lexie: fine (pouts and crosses her arms)
Jaden: hey none of that, do you want me to feed you or do it yourself?
Lexie: you feed me
Jaden: okay come here
Lexie's pov
I walk over to dada and sit on his lap while bubba gabs da noodles and a fork and twirls it on the spoon and brings it up to my lips, I bow on it before taking a bite and den I take another and another and another until I am all done.

Jaden: good job baby you ate everything high five (holds up his hands)
Lexie: (high fives him) desert bubba!
Clare: we have brownies do you want some?
Lexie: yeah (claps her hands)
Clare: I'll go get them (stands up and walks away)
Jaden: I'll go with you I am going to get some water (stands up and follows her) hey Clare
Clare: yeah
Jaden: I just want to thank you for being such a good friend to lex she doesn't have that many especially since no one really understands her little space
Clare: you don't have to thank me Jaden it's okay I genuinely love being friends with her and so what she's a little different so am I
Jaden: I know but still thank you
Clare: your welcome (smiles)
Lexie's pov
Clare came back with da bownies and it was the ones dat had m and n's on it. After we finished eating Justin put a Disney movie on and I felt my eyes getting sleepy so I walked over to dada and lay on his lap.

Josh: okay, Bryce can you pass me her cat and the blanket?
Bryce: yeah here (passes it to him)

Few hours later
Mike: Justin we are about to land, should I have everything ready?
Justin: yeah Is the limo out front the faster we avoid paparazzi the better, (looks at the boys) do you need a ride back?
Bryce: nah it's okay Taylor's picking us up in the triller van
Justin: okay
(A few minutes later the plane lands)
Jaden: babe you got her or do you want me to pick her up?
Josh: no it's okay I got her just get the bags
Jaden: okay
(Everyone gets their luggage and walks off the plane)
Fletcher: guys can you tell us what happened yesterday the fans want to know!

I woke up hearing noises and people screaming so I whined and grip onto dada's shirt.

We finally made it past paparazzi and said bye to Justin and Clare before getting into the triller van with Taylor. Once we were sitting down I took the blanket off Lexie who was still whining because she got woken up from her nap and I was just trying to calm her down by rubbing her back.

Josh: I know you can go back to sleep if you want too
Lexie: otay (lays her head on Josh's shoulder and closes her eyes again)
Taylor: how is she?
Bryce: well she was in shock yesterday and this morning and then slipped into little space so we genuinely don't know...
Griffin: it's probably better she's in little space
Jaden: you think?
Griffin: yeah at least she's not in shock trapped in her mind thinking about it
Josh: yeah
Taylor: how are you guys doing?
Jaden: I think we are okay for the most part, obviously yesterday we were really scared but josh helped me just focus on the fact that she's okay and he's dead and it's over thank god
Taylor: yeah I think that's the best way to look at it honestly
Bryce: I am just happy the son of a bitch is dead
Blake: yeah that way we know he can't try and pull anything anymore
Amelie: and hopefully lex can get better again
Griffin: she will, it might take some time but she'll get there again we just have to make sure she doesn't fall back into old habits
Jaden: yeah that should be our main focus and getting her back into therapy, I told Callie we were taking a break since we were going on vacation and right after she had New York but I think I'll schedule an appointment for her this week
Josh: yeah that sounds like a good idea
Forty minutes later
Bryce: thanks for the ride tay
Taylor: no problem, we'll see you guys later
Bryce: you want to film something this week?
Taylor: yeah I'll text you

Josh: I think we are going to go lay down and worry about unpacking later
Jaden: yeah
Kio: I think we should all just rest for the day

Blake: (looks at Amelie) you want to stay over tonight?

Jaden's pov
After the boys went to the room, josh, lex and I went up to ours, I took her from josh and placed her on her bed across the room and then laid down while wrapping my arms around him and laying my head on his shoulder while he played with my hair.

Josh: what are you thinking about?
Jaden: nothing I am just glad to be home (pecks him on the lips)
Josh: me too, we should take a break from traveling
Jaden: (laughs) well we do have MGK's tour coming up plus mine so I think for the next month we are staying here
Josh: thank god, we still haven't decided what the plan is for tour
Jaden: I don't want to think about that right now, I am tired
Josh: so close your eyes (kisses the top of his head)

Jaden drifted off to sleep and I scrolled through my phone answering the hundreds of messages I had on my phone. Two were from Dave and Bri wanting an update on everything, two were from my parents asking how everything was and another two were from Liv and will asking pretty much the same thing but also wanting to know if they could come out to LA soon since they still have a month of summer left. After talking with them for a little while I put my phone down and was about to take a nap to when I heard small whimpers coming from Lexie's side of the bed, I sighed and got up and walked over to see her whimpering in her sleep but not having a full nightmare yet and since I didn't want her to have one I picked her up and started slowly bouncing her to calm down until she stopped and fell back asleep and this time I just laid her down on the bed with us.

Jaden: coming (groans and gets up and opens the door) what's up?
Griffin: hey I was thinking of just ordering pizza for dinner you guys good with that?

Bubba and I walk to ant's room and knocked on da door and he opened it a few minutes later.

I was trowimg the ball to buddy while playing with kitty on my lap who was playing with her little mouse toy she had when griff came over and said da pizza was here so I left buddy and kitty in my room and went downstairs. Kio cut da pizza into tiny pieces and den handed me a fork and I started eating and drinking my juice until I was full. After that I got to pay with buddy and kitty a little longer before bubba said it was late and it was time to go to bed, so Amelie put me in a Disney princess onesie and den took me back to bubba and dada's room and I fall asleep next to dem.
