Chapter 51

Sunday (Vegas, 9 am)
Clare: wake up wake up we only have a few hours left so we have to make the most of it
Chloe: ugh what time is it loca
Clare: nine in the morning
Katie: we went to bed at six I am tired (whines)
Clare: we can sleep on the jet but for now let's get up, go have breakfast and hit the casinos
Lexie: are they even open at this time? (Opens her eyes)
Clare: yessir now come on
Lexie: okay okay (runs her fingers through mike's hair)
Mike: hmm
Lexie: Clare has decided everyone needs to get up
Mike: Clare go have morning sex with Ricky
(Ricky grabs a pillow from one of the spare couches and throws it at Mike)
Mike: owww what was that for
Ricky: making stupid ass comments but for real get up so we can do some fun shit
Jack: taking a shit is fun?
Ricky: you know what I meant smart ass
Hayden: anyways I guess I better go get ready then
Lexie's pov
Fifteen minutes we were all dressed and going downstairs to the lobby I was absolutely exhausted but oh well who knows when I am going to be able to have this much fun again so I took a few hits from my vape pen to get me buzzed plus it'll help me take the edge off about eating. We sat down and the first thing we walked over to was the buffet I decided a glass of orange juice with some fruit was enough and we walked over to the table. Mike sat down next to me and put his hand on my thigh since I was wearing short shorts while the others scattered around the table and we just talked and got to know each other more until we were finally finished with breakfast.

Clare: okay so new plan we are going to go back up to the hotel and pre game to finish the bottle of vodka and then come down and play in the casinos

Lexie's pov
We walked back up to the hotel room and once we were inside we started pouring shot glasses.

Chloe: what's your idea?
Sarah: why don't we play a game of body shots
Jackie: bet we haven't done this in a while so who's with who?
Sarah: okay so Clare and Ricky obviously then mike and Lexie since they can't seem to keep their hands off each other, then I am with Jack and you guys can pick amongst yourselves
Everyone: okay
Lexie: okay my turn how should I do this?
Mike: just put the shot glass wherever you want on your body and I'll do the rest
Lexie: okay
Lexie's pov
I decided to start off simple and put the shot glass on my stomach and Mike leaned over and grabbed it with his mouth and shot gun it quickly and we just kept going and going until we were at least tipsy enough to go have fun in the casinos. We left the hotel room and went downstairs to the area we were at last night and started playing cards, it was me and Mike versus Chloe and Jason, as well as Sarah and leo because the others wanted to go gamble and do Jack pots.

Selena: baby time to get up (pecks Justin on the lips)
Justin: hmm (opens his eyes) good morning beautiful

Selena: ten thirty we have sound check in an hour

Selena: I am going to go to Demi's room to ask her what she's going to wear, can you give Clare a call?
Justin: yeah she texted me last night saying she was spending the night at Jaden's

Justin: no babe she texted me right before we were going on stage
Selena: oh okay well just check in on her yeah?

I called Clare and it went straight to voice mail which is weird unless she forgot to charge it last night which is typical for her so I decided to call Jaden.

Bryce: (groans) my head is pounding so whoever's phone that is turn it off
Taylor: your the only one that got drunk last night Bryce or did you forget we have an EVENT today

Bryce: ugh okay I am going to get up shower and eat to sober up (gets off the couch)

Josh: (groans) it's Jaden's I'll answer it (gets off the couch he was sleeping on with Jaden and picks up his phone and answers it)

Justin: yeah is Jaden there? I mean I could talk to you too but I was calling Jaden so..
josh: he's sleeping but do you want me to wake him up?
Justin: no it's okay I just wanted to know if I could talk to Clare is she awake yet?

Justin: didn't Clare spend the night at your house last night?
Josh: no... we aren't even in LA right now we are in Texas for an event why did you think Clare was with us?
Justin: because she texted me last night saying she was staying at your house
Josh: wait a minute didn't Lexie and Clare spend the day together yesterday?
Justin: yeah that's why I thought she was with you
Josh: hold on a minute Justin let me wake Jaden up (puts the phone down and shakes Jaden awake)

Josh: babe I need you to wake up when was the last time you spoke to Lexie?
Jaden: last night why?
Josh: because Justin's on the phone saying Clare told him that she was staying the night at our house
Jaden: wait what? Let me talk to him

Jaden: hey what's this I am hearing about Clare staying with us?
Justin: (sighs) Clare texted me last night saying she was staying at your place and that you were fine with it, I would have called you myself but I was about to go on stage and then just forgot so if lex isn't with you where is she?
Jaden: she's supposed to be staying with my friend MGK because the guys and I had a social media event and I know they spent the day together yesterday but no one said anything about staying the night
Justin: okay I am going to try calling Clare again do you think you can get a hold of Lexie? Maybe they are together
Jaden: yeah of course and for the record i had no idea about any of this
Justin: it's okay I am not upset at you if anything I am mad at Clare for lying to me  but she's a wild child so I should have known to check in with you regardless of going on stage just let me know if you hear anything
Jaden: okay I will bye

Kells: no.. she told me last night you gave her permission to stay with Clare

Kells: did you not tell her she could stay the night at her friends?
Jaden: no no I did not I wouldn't give her permission to stay with Clare unless I talked to Justin or Selena about it first

Jaden: yeah Clare's his step daughter did Lexie not tell you that?
Kells: no she just said the girls name was Clare I never got a last name what's going on?
Jaden: apparently Clare told Justin that I said she could stay the night at our house but now I am hearing that Clare told you that I said she could stay at Justin's do I have the story straight?
Kells: yeah that sounds about right wait so if she's not at Justin's where is she?
Jaden: that's what I need to find out I'll call you later Kells

Jaden: she told Kells that I gave her permission to stay at Justin's
Noah: wait so does that mean we don't know where any of the girls are?
Jaden: hmm and when we find them I am going to kill Lexie (dials Justin's number)

Jaden: so apparently Lexie told MGK that I gave permission for her to stay at your house
Justin: your kidding
Jaden: no and I tried calling her and it went straight to voicemail
Justin: so what your telling me is that we got played by a fifteen and sixteen year old why don't you sound more upset?
Jaden: oh trust me I am but I am saving it for when we find them are you in LA right now?
Justin: no I am in San Francisco I was supposed to drive back to LA after the concert but now I am thinking we might have to cancel and josh told me you guys were in Texas
Jaden: Yeah for an event but should we fly back to LA and cancel?
Justin: no don't do anything just yet let me catch everyone up here and I'll keep you posted
Jaden: okay in the meantime I'll just keep trying to call lex
Justin: okay talk to you later and I'll do the same with Clare until we find out anything else
Jaden: wait does Clare have a debit card?
Justin: yeah I'll check her records to see if there's anything suspicious

Selena: what did Jaden say does he have Clare??
Justin: no turns out the girls lied to everyone of us can you get Nick, Demi, joe, and Keven in here we need to figure out what we should do because none of the girls are answering and no one knows where they are

Lexie's pov
We finished a few rounds of cards and left the casino and went back to the amusement park when I saw a security guard walking towards us I tried to ignore it but I suddenly got this sick feeling in my stomach. I looked over my shoulder and saw he was still following us after a few moments so I walked over to Clare who was currently making out with Ricky by the bar I swear those two don't keep their hands off each other and have no shame showing PDA, mike was in the bathroom and the rest of the group kind of scattered so interrupting Clare's make out session was my only option.

Clare: what's up? (Stops kissing Ricky)
Lexie: don't make it obvious but do you see the security guard by the door?
Ricky: yeah why?
Lexie: he's been tailing us since we left the casino
Clare: don't worry about he's probably just doing his job just act normal here take a shot (hands her a shot glass with tequila)
Lexie: you know what fuck it whatever happens happens
(Lexie takes the shot just as mike is walking back from the bathroom and he wraps his arms around her waist)

(Mike takes the shot just as the rest of the group finds them)

Lexie: you guys might even be crazier then my friends back in Tennessee (laughs)
Aaron: I hope that's a good thing
Lexie: definitely I could get used to hanging out with you guys

(They all hug just as the security guard walks up to them)
Chloe: guys he's walking towards us
Clare: that's okay just let Ricky and I do the talking

security guard: hi I am sorry to interrupt but my colleagues and I have noticed that a group of underage children have been spotted in different areas of the hotel so we are just going up to people and asking to show ID
Clare: oh yeah of course that won't be a problem here you go (hands him her ID)
Security: Sarah Genevieve twenty one years old (looks at her)
Clare: yes sir
Security guard: what about you sir? (Looks at Ricky)
Ricky: here you go? (Hands him his ID)
Security guard: Derek Montez twenty two?
Ricky: that's correct and you can check my fiends and I we all have ID
Security: hmm well since you guys are a big group I am going to need you to come with me
Katie: is that really necessary you can just look at it now
Security: I am sorry mam but we need to make sure these are legit is that going to be a problem?
Clare: no of course not right guys?

(The group of teens follow the security guard to hotel security)

(Justin, Selena, Demi, Nick, joe and Kevin are sitting in the hotel room and Nick is on the phone with the bank)

Lady: yes sir
Nick: (sighs) okay thank you for your time

Selena: okay may I ask why your calling?
Lizzie: we have records that show your private jet was taken last night to Vegas around one in the morning did you and your husband go traveling?
Selena: no we didn't take the jet
Joe: the jet!?
Selena: shh joe! Sorry about that is there anyway you can pull up security footage?
Lizzie: yeah I can do that just give me a second (types on the computer) it appears to be a group of teenagers one that looks a lot like your daughter
Selena: okay thank you so much for calling
Lizzie: no problem

Selena: Clare took our jet and your never going to believe where they went
Justin: where?
Selena: Vegas
Nick: Vegas!? What the hell is she doing in Vegas!!!
Selena: Lizzie said that it was group of teens how much you want to bet it was her no good trouble making friends and I can guarantee lex is probably with her
Kevin: this is unbelievable where does she even get the nerve to do something like that!?
Nick: I don't know but I am going to keep calling her
Demi: do I call the venue and cancel the concert?
Justin: (sighs) yeah and I need to call Jaden
Selena: okay you do that and I'll book the next flight to Vegas
Justin: okay (pulls out his phone and dials Jaden's number)

(The boys are in the house getting dressed and trying to get in touch with Clare until Jaden's phone stops ringing)
Jaden: guys shut up Justin's calling!! (Looks at Bryce and blake who are arguing over who's the bigger simp and once they are quiet Jaden answers the phone)

Jaden: hey did you hear from Clare??
Justin: no but we found out that Clare and her friends took our private jet without us knowing and went to Vegas and given the fact that they were together yesterday and Lexie isn't answering her phone either I can take a wild guess and say they are together
Jaden: let me make sure I heard you right did you just say Vegas!?!?
Sway boys: Vegas???
Justin: yeah we are going to cancel the concert and fly over there, I don't know how important your event is but we can go get them and you can pick them up from the house if you want
Jaden: no I'll talk to my manager and we'll explain the situation and we'll meet you in Vegas
Justin: okay
Jaden: we're you able to track down any purchase records?
Justin: no we're you?
Jaden: no I called but they said nothing showed up but that makes no sense if they left last night they would have had to stay somewhere
Justin: they could have paid in cash
Jaden: no the most cash we allow lex to carry is two hundred dollars that's not nearly enough for one night at a hotel in Vegas
Justin: true but we give Clare a good amount for all we know Clare paid and each of the friends contributed in cash or something
Jaden: yeah good point alright let me get off the phone and book the flight and we'll meet at the airport to figure out what our next step is going to be

After I hung up on Justin it took me a few minutes to really process what I just heard. Lexie's in Vegas my fifteen year old baby sister is running around the state known for it's clubs, gambling, sex, and everything else that's for adults twenty one and up. What the fuck was she thinking!? I am livid right now but I can't lose my cool just yet so I took a few deep breathes before looking at the boys who were looking at me with questioning faces.

Jaden: Clare took her parents private jet and flew to fucking Vegas
Ant: what the hell is she doing there?
Bryce: what do you think? (Smacks him upside the head)

Bryce: not using your brain what other reason would there be to go to Vegas
Noah: so what are we going to do?
Jaden: I don't know about you guys but I am going to meet Justin at the airport and find her, I'll call Micheal and tell him to come to the room and we explain the situation and Corey can go fuck himself
Josh: well your not going by yourself I'll go with you
Griffin: yeah we are all a family we'll go with you
Jaden: what about the event?
Taylor: don't worry about that hopefully with compound and hype being there it'll compensate
Thomas: yeah we'll tell the fans you had a family emergency

Jaden: alright I am going to book the tickets for all of us then (grabs the laptop on the counter and books the tickets)
Kio: let's go pack
Josh: I'll call Micheal and Rafy to come over to the house so we can explain it to them

Scene change (Vegas)
(The security guard looks up their ID's and it obviously comes out as fake so he stops running them and walks over to the teens)
Security guard: okay so these ID's came out as fraudulent we know your the underage teens we've been looking for
Clare: okay how much is it going to take for you to let us go and pretend this never happened?
Security guard: are you trying to bribe me mam?
Clare: it's not a bribe if you take it
Lexie: or you know we can do something else in exchange for you to let us go
Security guard: nice try kids now listen your going to have to stay with us in our holding cells until a parent or guardian can release you now my guess is they don't know where you are so we are going to give you a chance for you to call them who's first?
Aaron: a majority of our parents are out of town
Security guard: there has to be someone you can call
Clare: (sighs) guys I am going to have to call my mom or dad
Lexie: are you sure you just don't want to take the bribe? I mean seriously how much do you make an hour here
Security guard: nice try I'll let this little lady call her mom and then you can call yours do you have your cell phones?
Lexie: yeah
Security guard: go ahead and use them and then I am going to put you guys in the holding cells
Katie: a holding cell really?
Security guard: yes
(Ushers them into the holding cell and Clare calls each of her family members but they don't answer because they are on the plane and then Lexie does the same but the boys don't answer because they are on the plane too)
Jackie: so in other words we are stuck here until god knows when
Lexie: they'll see our missed calls eventually
Clare: I am sorry guys this was a really bad idea
Sarah: yeah but it was fun though
Ricky: yeah and we can definitely add this onto our greatest adventures journal
Lexie: do you guys really have an adventure journal?
Ricky: no I was being sarcastic
Lexie: ohh gotcha (then feels something in her pocket and pulls out her vape pen) omg I had this in my pocket! (Takes a hit)
Chloe: yo let me take a hit
Lexie: sure here you go
Jack: guys that vape pen barely has anything in it your going to want to something stronger for the high (takes out a bigger vape pen which holds weed instead of nicotine)
Leo: you are such a pot head jack (takes it from him and hits it)
(The teens continue passing around the weed pen while they wait for someone to come pick them up)
Scene change
(Justin, Selena, Nick, Demi, joe and Kevin land first and go to baggage claim and ten minutes later the sway boys meet up with them)
Jaden's pov
I let the boys introduce themselves while I turned my phone on and saw I had ten missed calls from Lexie, I didn't bother mentioning it to Justin because I was going to put the call on speaker.

Lexie: I am at a hotel (laughs) yo guys I am on the phone with my brother
Clare: Jaden we need you to save us from hotel jail (laughs)
(Nick hears Clare over the speaker and takes the phone)
Nick: where are you young lady!
Clare: oh no I didn't know you were with them daddy but can you come save us from the hotel jail pleaseeeee
Nick: are you high right now?
Clare: noooo (laughs)
Nick: unbelievable what's the name of the hotel Clare!?
Clare: uh I can't remember hold on let me ask the security guard... mr security guard what's name of this hotel jail!! (A few seconds of silence pass) it's called the circus circus hotel
Nick: okay we are on our way and I don'd think I need to tell you that you are in MAJOR trouble young lady
Clare: hmm okay byeeee (hangs up)
Jaden: of course they would go to the biggest hotel known for it's party scene
Josh: it was a nice hotel though (smirks)
Bryce: not the time you guys
Justin: alright I got us the limo we should all fit so let's go
(The adults pile into the limo and start driving to the hotel)
Lexie's pov
I am high out of my mind and I keep taking hits because not going to lie this shits good. I think out of everyone Clare and I are definitely the most high right now probably because we know how much shit we are going to be in once the boys get here. I am going to be in so much trouble... oh well you only live once right? Five more rounds of everyone taking hits we heard footsteps coming into the hotel security area and it didn't matter how high I was I could see the anger on Jaden and the rest of the boys faces...

Security guard: is she one of the teens in the cell

Justin: and we also need Clare jonas and we'll also sign for the rest of her group as well
Security guard: okay no problem just sign these papers and I'll go get them

(The security guard walks over to the teens)
Security guard: your parents are here to pick you guys up
Clare: on second thought can we stay here
Security guard: no now get out
Katie: you are so serious mr. security guard I bet you have a serious name like... Bernard (laughs)
(The security guard shakes his head and escorts the high teens out of the cell and to the front where the adults are finished signing the papers)
Lexie: bubba!!! (Runs up and hugs him)
Jaden: don't you dare try being cute right now and why the hell do you smell like weed!!
Lexie: I don't know (laughs)
Griffin: your stoned aren't you
Lexie: I don't Clare am I stoned right now (looks at her)
Clare: shhh don't blow our cover the adults are right there (whispers)
Joe: yeah and we can hear you we aren't deaf
Kio: Lexie where's the key card to your room we are grabbing your bags and then we are leaving
Lexie: Clare you have the room key
Clare: I have mine and Ricky's I think Mike has yours
Josh: who's mike!?
Mike: that would be me and yeah I have the key (hands it to Lexie)
Jaden: alright we are going to the room and then we are going to talk and go home
Justin: you guys can take the private jet with us
Noah: thank you Justin that would be great
Justin: no problem
Lexie's pov
The adults talked and I just spaced out until I felt a hand grab mine and hold it while they walked to the hotel room because it had the number of it on the key card. We got to the room and the boys saw the bottles of alcohol, bong and weed sprawled around the room as well as clothes. I got sat down on the bed while the boys grabbed my carry on bag and started putting my clothes inside but they were so quiet you could hear a pin drop but the tension in the air was so thick I don't even think a knife could cut it.. why aren't they yelling? They should be yelling at me right now and punishing me so why aren't they.. not that I want to get punished but this silence is killing me.

Jaden: no Lexie you don't get to apologize for this and call me bubba right now to get your way out of this, I have a lot to say to you but I am going to contain myself until we get home
Lexie: Joshy (looks at him with puppy dog eyes)
Josh: no Lexie Marie I am not going to tell you what you did was okay because it wasn't and we are very disappointed in you
Griffin: let's go (grabs Lexie's bag and they start walking out of the hotel room)
Meanwhile with Clare
Nick: Clare Marie jonas what were you thinking!?! First you lie to Justin and your mother about staying at Jaden's house knowing damn well they weren't even in LA!!!
Clare: technically I lied to Justin not mom...
Justin: (smacks her on the thigh) don't be a smart ass right now!
Nick: second of all you took their jet and flew all the way to Vegas!!! Your sixteen what makes you think you had any right to take the jet without permission no not even with permission but in general!! You have completely lost your mind young lady
Selena: when we get home you are so grounded and you have lost all of our trust once again and I don't want you seeing anymore of your delinquent friends.. besides Lexie because I know she's being raised by the right people
Clare: what the hell! So just because my "friends" aren't really being raised your going to ban me from seeing them!?
Selena: I already banned you from seeing them months ago and you deliberately went behind our back and kept seeing them!
Joe: your lucky we are even letting you date Ricky in the first place
Clare: that comment wasn't necessary uncle joe
Nick: no he's right I don't even know if we want you dating Ricky anymore he's clearly a bad influence
Clare: it wasn't his idea to come to Vegas! It was mine he just came with me you can't just stop me from seeing him!!
Nick: Clare Rose Jonas you better lower your voice right now before you end up on the plane with a sore ass
(Clare stays quiet)
Nick: that's what I thought now pack your things and let's go
Lexie's pov
We waited in the lobby for awhile before seeing Clare and her group walking towards the lobby. She looked upset but then again I am pretty sure I looked the same way and after seeing how mad the boys are I am starting to think this wasn't such a great idea... no matter how fun it was. We got in the limo and everyone was still just quiet because I don't think anyone could say anything at this point and the adults were still pissed. Thirty minutes later we were at the private area where the plane was and Justin talked to the pilot who had to confirm that this was in fact their jet and we all got on. The adults had all of us separated my guess is because they didn't want us to think this was going to be a fun plane ride. Clare had to stay by Nick and Demi who if this was any other circumstance I probably would have fan girled because I love Demi but I was becoming more sober so I knew I couldn't fan girl right now. I sat by Kio and Ant because josh and Jaden were too mad right now to even look in my direction. Griffin, Bryce, Noah and blake were the same way in giving me the cold shoulder not that Kio and Ant weren't giving me the cold shoulder because they were but I had to sit next to someone and they are the two calmest ones on the group. As for the rest of the group Justin pretty much gave them seats away from one another too, I was going to use my phone for the plane ride but as soon as I pulled out Kio took it from me and put it in his pocket and I knew better then to protest. I felt my eyes getting drowsy and I laid my head on Ant's shoulder and closed my eyes.

Ant: Lexie wake up (lights shakes her shoulder)
Lexie: hmm why?
Ant: we are landing
Lexie: oh okay what time is it?
Ant: five thirty
Lexie: okay...
(The plane lands and they all get out and order Ubers)
Jaden: thank you so much Justin for the flight

I couldn't believe Jaden gave Kells permission to punish me like I get the boys because we all live together but Kells really!? I wanted to curse him out and refuse but I knew if I did that it would get me in even more trouble so I just listed and walked over to Kells who easily picked me up and pulled me over his lap.

We got in the triller van and I found myself bouncing my leg up and down because I knew as soon as we were going to get home Jaden was going to unleash everything he's been holding in today and I am not looking forward to it... I only stopped bouncing my leg when I saw Quinton put a hand on my knee and then he held my hand and gently rubbed it to comfort me which I was grateful for. Thirty minutes later we pulled up to the sway house and I dreaded going inside. It was like my feet were glued to the car floor and the only thing that made me move was hearing griffin yell at me to get out of the car. As soon as we were inside I got told to sit on the couch and it was quiet for a few minutes because Jaden was pacing until finally he took a breath and looked at me.

Jaden: let's just go over what you did step by step shall we first you lied to Kells, then you lied to me when you said you were back at the house with him, then you decide to go on a private jet to Vegas with Clare and her friends!!! Where you probably drank and got high and partied am I right!? What the hell were you thinking playing all three of us like that!! Not to mention the fact that we needed to drop everything we were doing in Texas to come pick you up! We were there for work Lexie we have to be able to trust that if we are going to leave you can listen to the people we leave you with because you clearly can't be trusted on your own!!! And after all that we still had to pick you up from hotel security and you were high!!!! Then you have the audacity to say we don't trust you or let you do anything why do you think that is?? Because you do shit like this!!! You have completely lost any trust you were earning! We can't let you out of our sight apparently because every time we do you get in some kind of trouble!!!

Jaden: and on top of that you don't answer your phone! What is the point of you having the phone if your never going to answer it huh! The pizza came and the boys made me have at least two slices and two garlic breads because they knew I didn't have anything in my system today besides alcohol and weed. We finished eating and watched the pacifier because it was on Disney plus and after that we all called it a night and I fell asleep with a pacifier in my mouth and cuddling with the boys.
