A thick sheet of white covers the ground, more layering on top due to the snow falling from the air.
Most students were out at Hogsmeade, shopping and getting Butterbeer with their friends as they chat with one another and look at the Christmas decorations outside and inside of the stores.
But, instead of being with them, I was sitting in front of Fred and George back at the castle as they build a snowman and I read my book on Wizard's Chess. I was wearing my heavy grey, wool coat with a pair of black jeans and my Slytherin Quidditch jumper, although no one could see it anyways. I had a pair of black boots on, my Slytherin scarf tied around my neck and a black winter hat sitting atop of my head.
The reason I wasn't at Hogsmeade was because I felt nervous to leave the castle, in fear of a Dementor coming again and attacking. I knew it was stupid, but I just told my friends I didn't want to go out in the cold. They believed me, of course.
Although, now looking at the situation I'm currently in, I honestly don't know how.
Fred and George didn't bother asking why I wasn't in Hogsmeade, much to my relief, as they just let me hang out with them in hopes I'd have another vision. So here I am, in the Clock Tower Courtyard with Fred and George Weasley sitting down in the snow, reading, as they build a snowman.
"You two know you can use magic, correct?" I ask them both as they handmake their snowman. George sends me a "duh" look as he nods.
"Yes, we do." He responds blankly as him and Fred roll up the head with snow.
"Then why don't you? Did you guys forget you're wizards or something? Because your wands are right over there." I state, pointing to the wall the wands were by.
"We didn't forget we're wizards or anything. Sometimes it's fun doing things the Muggle way." Fred says with a shrug as him and George place the head on top of the center of the body and try to make it stay still.
"Ah, that's fair." I respond as I shrug and look down at my book. Suddenly, the sound of Fred and George building a snowman stops, and I look up to see them glance down at the snow coated floor, their classic smirks plastered across their identical faces.
I look down to see footsteps marking the floor, coming towards us, but the thing was, there was no owner to the marks. I remembered Harry's invisibility cloak, and it seemed so did Fred and George. He was probably trying to sneak into Hogsmeade. They look at each other, then at me, then back in front of them as they suddenly hook arms on both sides of the invisible person, or Harry. They both cheer in victory as I grin and stand up, heading towards them.
"Clever, Harry." Fred tells him, smirking.
"But not clever enough." George continues as he shakes his head at him.
"Besides, we've got a better way." Fred says, looking at George as they goofily smirk at one another. I furrow my eyebrows and follow Fred, George, and Harry to the Entrance Hall. We then stop, and Harry drops the cloak, revealing himself to us. Harry and I stand across from Fred and George, both confused. Fred then hands Harry a piece of parchment, and I peek over his shoulder as he unrolls it, the parchment turning out to be empty.
"What's this rubbish?" Harry asks the twins. Fred scoffs loudly.
"What's this rubbish he says," Fred mocks Harry, "That there's the secret to our success." Fred says to us, making me cock my head to the side in confusion.
"It's a wrench giving it to you, believe me." George tells Harry. Fred nods at him.
"But we've decided your need's greater than ours. George, if you will." George nods.
