Somehow, the truth got out that I was a Parseltongue.

The truth got out that Justin was petrified and was called down to Dumbledore's office to be "questioned". Now, people actually do believe that I'm the heir and they believe that Harry and I are teammates.

Who spread all of this? I have no idea. Whoever did, I think I'll actually murder them. I will hex the living daylights out of them. Which may not help my case, but people already believe I'm evil.

Students have been reacting differently towards me. The Muggle-borns are all afraid of me, gasping and running away whenever they see Harry and I. Well, all except for Hermione. She seems to be the only one who isn't afraid of Harry and I.

Students from the other houses will scowl at me, angry for what I have been doing to the school. First years all tremble around me, which makes me sad that even the Pureblood first years are scared of me. But, the Slytherins are congratulating me. They tell me I'm "doing Salazar's work".

Harry and I told Hermione and Ronald our theories, and they told us to cut it out and that it's not real. They seem a little scared around me, though, but not Harry. I was sad about it at first, but then decided that it'll all blow over eventually.

Right?

"Make way for the heirs of Slytherin! Seriously, evil wizards coming through!" Fred yells to students wandering the corridors, putting his arm around Harry and I as if we need a bodyguard.

It made me blush, I'll admit, but then I laughed at his joke. Sure, he wasn't helping my case, but what would? I looked at Harry to see him frowning, even though Ronald was smiling and laughing of amusement. He turned to see Harry's expression and noticed the disappointment as well.

"Oh come on, Harry. Fred's just having a laugh!" Ronald exclaims. Harry looks at the ground in disappointment, and I felt he was starting to believe my theories.

"He's not the only one." Harry mumbles under his breath, making Ronald let out a sigh.

"Okay, so half the school thinks you're both nipping off to the Chamber of Secrets every night. Who cares?" Ronald asks, obviously annoyed at Harry's gloominess. Harry sighs and I look over at him. I look at Ronald and nod.

"Maybe they're right." Harry says. Hermione hits him in the stomach with her hand and gasps. Ronald turns red and Fred walks off, obviously not wanting to hear anymore arguing. He waves goodbye, I wave back, and he goes off to find George.

"Harry!" Hermione yells at him, making him shrug. She gives me a face to try and reassure Harry, but I shrug knowing I won't be able to do that believing it myself.

"Sorry Hermione, but we don't know. We didn't even know we could speak to snakes, and what else don't we know about ourselves? We could be opening the Chamber of Secrets every night and we might not even be aware. It could be like, our alter ego. We could be doing this terrible thing, and I can't deny it." I declare, making Hermione let out a disappointed sigh.

"You two don't believe that, I know you guys don't. And if it makes you feel any better, I heard Malfoy's staying here over the Holiday's." Hermione tells us, making me look at her confused.

"Why would that make us feel any better? Especially Lila, she has to live with the git." Harry asks angrily. Hermione looks at me expectedly and I gasp, realizing what she meant.

"The Polyjuice Potion will be finished by then. You three will be able to transform and interrogate Malfoy." I tell Harry, making him nod in understanding. Hermione smiles but Ronald gives me a confused face.
