"Ugh, we have Care for Magical Creatures with the Gryffindors today." Blaise complains.

We sat at the Slytherin table in the Great Hall, looking down at our timetables Snape gave us.

"It's not all too bad. You're friends with Seamus and Dean, aren't you?" I ask him.

"Yeah, but I'd prefer if we were with Ravenclaw." Blaise shrugs.

"Why?" Daphne asks.

"Anthony Goldstein, Terry Boot, Stephen Cornfoot... I have much more Ravenclaw friends than Gryffindor." Blaise says.

"We have Astronomy with Ravenclaw, Herbology with them too. History of Magic with Hufflepuff, Potions with Gryffindor, Transfigurations with Ravenclaw, Care for Magical Creatures with Gryffindor, Divination with Gryffindor, Charms with Hufflepuff, Defense Against the Dark Arts with Gryffindor... " Daphne sighs.

"We have a lot of classes with Gryffindor." Blaise shakes his head disappointedly.

"Yeah, but we have classes with the others too." I tell him.

"Is there anyone you like in Hufflepuff?" Daphne asks.

"I guess Ernie Macmillan and Wayne Hopkins." Blaise says.

"I like Susan Bones and Hannah Abbott." I say.

"Yeah, but that Leanne Moon girl is mean." Daphne says.

"What about Ravenclaw?" Blaise asks.

"I like Padma, she's really nice. So is Lisa Turpin." I say.

"I like Su Li, she's nice as well." Daphne adds.

"Well, we better get to History of Magic. We shouldn't be late." Blaise says. Daphne and I both nod, grabbing our bags and leaving the Great Hall.

History of Magic was boring, and in Care for Magical Creatures we learned about Skrewts. Disgusting creatures, they are. I'm not really sure if they actually have a purpose.

We had a quick lunch break before the afternoon classes, first up Divination. I walked to class with Daphne and Blaise, talking about the Triwizard Tournament as we reached the trapdoor that is used as the entrance to the room.

We enter and take our seats, Daphne and Blaise sitting next to one another, Lavender Brown and Parvati Patil, Harry and Ronald, Dean and Seamus, Crabbe and Goyle, Theodore Nott and Pansy, Millicent Bullstrode and Tracey Davis, but there was an empty seat next to Malfoy.

My luck.

I sigh and take a seat at the table he sat at, him sending a scowl at me I pretend not to notice and listen to Professor Trelawney.

"My dears, it is time for us to consider the stars. The movements of the planets and the mysterious portents they reveal only to those who understand the steps of the celestial dance. Human destiny may be discovered by the planetary rays, which intermingle..."

"This is a load of rubbish already." Malfoy whispers, scoffing.

"Just listen to what she has to say, for Merlin's sake." I tell him and he rolls his eyes as Trelawney approaches Harry and Ronald's table.

"Ah, yes, my boy. You were clearly born under Saturn." Trelawney tells him, but he doesn't say anything. After Ronald mutters his name a few times, he looks up from where he was dozing off.

"What?" He asks.

"I was saying, my dear, that you were clearly born under the baleful influence of Saturn." She says, resentment in her voice.
