Harry's hearing went well, he had been freed of all charges, and we were all extremely relieved and ecstatic. He was in a bright mood most of the time, and we were all glad he wasn't yelling and screaming like he did the first day he arrived.

Hermione and I spent our time together doing the homework we were assigned over the summer, which had been a lot, given this year is our O.W.L.'s.

Ginny and I would play with Crookshanks and Athena, laughing at how they followed one another around as though they were a lovesick puppy. Or, sometimes, we would go and visit Buckbeak.

The twins usually ask me about recipes for Potions and extra Charms and Spells, I'm assuming for the joke shop they plan to open.

Harry, Ronald, Hermione, and I spend time cleaning together, only because of Mrs. Weasley's orders.

So I sat next to Ginny in front of the two cats, laughing as they chase the bright light I was shining with a flashlight, when an owl swooped into the room and dropped two envelopes on Ginny and I's laps.

"Our Hogwarts letters!" Ginny exclaims, beaming. "I reckon you should open yours with Hermione, Harry, and your boyfriend."

"Oh, Merlin." I roll my eyes as she giggles. "Yes, I do reckon I should. I'll come back afterwards."

"Alright!" Ginny calls back as I exit the room, shutting it behind me.

I heard a loud scream and sobbing, a bunch of talking and trembling voices repeating themselves.

My eyes widen slightly and I run down the hall, towards the open door where Mrs. Weasley passed by me, tears running down her face as she exits.

Ronald, Harry, Hermione, and the twins were all in the room, the twins laughing hysterically and Harry biting back a smile, Hermione looking furious and Ronald's face flushed a bright red color.

"You don't mind if we don't kiss you, do you, Ron?" Fred asks him, grinning.

"We could curtsey, if you like." George suggests teasingly.

"Oh, shut up." Ronald says, scowling.

"Or what?" Fred asks, grinning evilly. "Going to put us in detention?"

"I'd love to see him try." George sniggers.

"He could if you don't watch out!" Hermione snaps angrily, Fred and George bursting out into laughter.

"We're going to have to watch our step, George." Fred says, pretending to be frightened. "With these two on our case..."

"Yeah, it looks like our law-breaking days are finally over." George says, shaking his head.

"What are you two going on about?" I ask them. "What do you mean he'll put you in detention?"

"Oh, you haven't opened your letter, yet?" Fred asks, glancing at George with a smirk. "Ah, well, you're in for a treat."

And with a crack, the twins Disapparated.

"Those two!" Hermione vents angrily, looking up to the ceiling where Fred and George were laughing upstairs. "Don't pay any attention to them, Ron, they're only jealous!"

"Of what?" I ask. "What happened?"

"Open your letter." Harry says, smiling. "I think you'll find out then."

"You haven't opened your letter yet?" Hermione asks, eyes wide, and I shake my head. "Why not?"

"I wanted to open it with you lot." I shrug.
