Harry did it. He saved the stone, he fought off Voldemort. We were wrong, though. It wasn't Snape after the stone, it was Quirell. Harry has been in the hospital wing for a while now. Madam Pomfrey has forbidden visitors, but Hermione, Ronald and I have been sneaking in to check on him with the invisibility cloak. Dumbledore's destroyed the stone, which means Nicholas Flamel will die. The school was safe, all because of a few eleven year-olds.

The Great Hall was decorated in green and silver, Slytherin's colors. We won the House Cup, which I was happy about, but my friends in Gryffindor were bummed out. They did congratulate me, though.

I was sitting in the Great Hall next to Daphne and Blaise, smiles beaming across all of the Slytherin's faces. Our house has won the cup again, for the seventh year in a row. I turned to Daphne to talk to her, but before I could, Dumbledore started his end of the year speech.

"Another year gone! Now as I understand it, the House Cup needs awarding, and the points stand thus: In fourth place, Gryffindor with 312 points." Dumbledore announces. I glance over at the Gryffindor table, all of them frowning of disappointment. "In third place, Hufflepuff with 352 points. In second, Ravenclaw with 426. And in first place, Slytherin, with 472 points."

The whole Slytherin erupts into cheers, some banging their goblets against the table in victory. I wasn't going crazy, but I took pride in the fact that we had won the House Cup.

Dumbledore quickly interrupts, holding his hands up to silence the Great Hall. Everyone has confused looks plastered across their faces.

"Yes, well done, Slytherin. However, recent events must be taken into account. I have a few last minute points to award." Dumbledore says. Everyone starts whispering to one another, confused, but then quickly pay their attention back to Dumbledore.

"First, to Hermione Granger, for the cool use of intellect when others were in grave peril... fifty points." Dumbledore says. The Gryffindor's start to cheer, but the Slytherin's smiles all fade.

Wait, if they're getting points for our adventure, does that mean I am too?

I smile, knowing I might get points for joining them to save the school. Malfoy looks at me confused and angered, but I ignore it.

"Second, to Mr. Ronald Weasley, for the best played game of chess Hogwarts has seen in many years... fifty points!" Dumbledore yells, the Gryffindor table yet again erupting into a wave of cheers. My smile doesn't fade, but I am worried if I will actually gain extra points.

"Third, to Miss Lila Knight, for bravely fighting off a swarm of vicious keys... fifty points!" Dumbledore yells, and it's now the Slytherin table's turn to erupt into cheers. They all pat me on the back, awarding me for getting them so many points. My smile is wide, and for once I feel needed in this house.

"Fourth, to Mr. Harry Potter, for pure nerve and outstanding courage, I award Gryffindor house... one-hundred points!" The Gryffindor table stands up, cheering greatly. They all award Harry, but Dumbledore quickly silences them.

"And finally... it takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but even more to stand up to our friends. I therefore award 10 points to... Mr. Neville Longbottom." Dumbledore finishes, and the Gryffindor table bursts into cheers. They're clapping louder than any other table, yelling in victory. I clap, disappointedly.

"Why didn't you get us any more points?" Malfoy asks me, more like yelling. I give him an annoyed look and roll my eyes.

"I invited you to come along, but you just threatened to get me in trouble! Maybe if you came, we would've won!" I yelled at him, and he scoffs at me.
