The cab driver drops me off at the restaurant. I spot Zane immediately. I walked over to him and smiled. He pulled me in for a hug. My lord he smells so good! I just wanna wear his jacket and never take it off. Ok, I'm over reacting here. Ha! I sit down and he did as well.

"How you been" I asked

"Good... still riding bulls" he said

"Really? Already tired of them bucking horses"

"Hahaha... Nah.. never get tired of em.. and you.. how are you"

"Oh god... life happened.. haha"

"Like what"

"Well... I have a one year old daughter... I'm married but fixing a divorce... my heeler had fallen for me... and now I'm in a hole.. haha"

"I see... you still you got guys chasing you... hahaha.. I didn't know you had a kid and married"

"Long story..."

"What's your daughter's name"

"Kylie Jade Jenkins"

"Did you just say Jenkins" he choked

"Yeah... what's wrong"

"Your married to LJ Jenkins... and had a kid with him"

"Yeah... Zane what's wrong"

"Nothing... I just didn't think he'd be the settle down type..."

"Yeah... I'm barely gettin that message.. enough about me...let's hear about you " I lied partially

"Well I'm twenty eight... I live in Midland, Texas... I'm single... I rodeo for a living... I majored in Natural Resources... and yeah..."

"Really? I majored in sports medicine"

"I always took you for a athletic trainer.. but I guess it can be the same thing.. haha"

That night Zane and I caught up on a lot of stuff. It has been years since I saw him. Now here we are, talking to one another. Then again I've always know he'd had a crush on me, when we were kids. But we lost touch when we reached high school. Because his family sold their ranch, after his grandpa passed. Years did fly by didn't it?

We were walking out of the restaurant and I took a glimpse at my phone. I had a shyt load of missed calls, text messages, and my voicemail box was full. It was two in the morning. What is it with me bot going to bed early. Good thing I don't have any signings today.

"Where you staying at" I asked

"Mandalay Bay.. you"

"MGM.. guess this is it... is was great seeing you Zane.."

"Can we hang out again... well throughout the weekend"

"I'll let you know... but for sure today... you can meet Kylie too"

"Yeah... good night Jade"

"Night Zane"

I got in the cab and looked at my phone once again. All messages and phone calls are all from Larry and Cade. This should be good. I listened to ALL the voicemails. All I get is "I'm sorry", "I love you" , "call me back". It's tiring. You love someone and they would find away to stab you in the back. I've had that happened but it was nothing near to this. At all. LJ the guy I gave most of twenties to, just lied to my face, again. Cade, the guy who was all sweet and innocent just flipped the tables. Never have I thought of being sold. Well its the way I see it. Cade paid him to leave and LJ takes the money and goes. What are they not telling me?
