*Jade's POV *
I looked at Cade. Thinking what to say next. But it was too late. He crashed his lips against mine. But it wasn't aggressive, it was a careful one. Like he wanted to make sure I wanted it. He pulled away and I leaned in. Dam it! His lips are soft and amazing!
"I'm sorry" I said slightly blushing
"Don't worry about it... I shouldve been the one apologizing... I didn't give you a heads up"
I smiled at him. Feelings for Cade are there. My god, my heart is racing and my mind is thinking many things. This is awkward though. I normally don't fall for someone this easy. God, what am I getting myself into.
*Saturday*
Cade and I are not really a thing yet. We haven't kissed since that day. Which I'm ok with it. It was a one time thing. Today, I get to pick up miss Kylie from the airport. She is flying in with her dad. Great, this should be fun.
"Cade.. I gonna go pick up Kylie from the airport" I said
"Ok" he shouted from the kitchen
I got in the truck and went to the airport. I'm excited to see my baby girl. I made it to the airport and their flight just landed. I wait for them in their section of the airport. I looked and there she was. I called her. She came running up to me. She came to me with wide open arms. I picked her up and spun her around. I kissed her cheek.
"How's my baby" I said
"Momma.. I luh you"
"Haha.. I love you too" I said
She hugged me and kissed my cheek. My baby girl is finally home. We turned around meeting her dad. He came walking up to us, and handed me Kylie's stuff.
"How was she" I asked
"Kept me up all night"
"I wonder why..." I said and looked at Kylie
She smiled and hid her face into my neck.
"She... uh.. she missed you... she wouldn't sleep... when she did, she will only sleep for like an hour"
"You kept daddy up"
Kylie nodded her head.
"Well.. thanks for bringing her back"
"No problem..."
"I'll see ya... wanna say bye to daddy" I said and looked back at Kylie
Again she nodded her head. I handed her back over. She gave her dad a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"I luh you daddy" Kylie said
"Love you too baby" LJ said
He kissed her forehead. He gave her another hug and gave her back to me. I picked up her stuff and we were stopped. Dam it!
I turned around and I'm kissed again. What the hell?! Is it kiss Jade month? I pushed him off of me. I didn't kiss back.
"Larry... it's done.. ok.. you made up your mind.." I said
"I did not" he said
"I think inviting Christen made it clear" I said
I turned around and walked out. I can feel his eyes starring us down. I don't want to look back. We kept walking until we got to the truck. I strapped Kylie into her carseat. I closed the back door. He was standing there.
"Jesus Larry!" I said and jumped
"I'm not ready to let you go" he said
"Did you love me? Or was I some toy to you?"
