Well, I'm on a flight to Springfield Missouri with Kylie. LJ is suppose to pick us up at the airport. I'm feeling a bit nervous. I haven't seen his family since our wedding day. That was like two years ago.
*LJ's POV*
Dear Mr. Jenkins,
We are informing you, your finalization of your divorce. You and your spouse have a court date on December 17, 2014. If you have any questions call 240-555-1234.
Oh my God. It's real. I'm actually getting a divorce. This is crazy. Never in my life I never wanted to see this. This letter came from her lawyer. I don't want to lose her. Both her and Kylie. I really dont. I'm suppose to meet them at the airport.
I stuff the letter in my suitcase and walked out of my room. I see my mom, and my sister sitting on the couch.
"Be back later" I said
"Where you going" my mom asked
"Drive... ill bring dinner back"
"Alright"
I walked to the rental. Their plane is suppose to land in five minutes. I'm trying to be happy but that letter is stuck in my mind. I really messed things up this time.
I make it to the airport. I'm sitting on the bench, starring at my wedding band. The day I married her, was the best feeling in the world. I wanted to spend the rest of ,your life with her. But no, I screwed things up for us.
I looked up and they were walking in. Kylie spotted me and she speed walked her way to me. A big smile plastered on her face. I picked her up and I held her close. I felt her kiss my cheek. My little girl, is one true blessing in my life.
"Hey" I said
"Hey"
"How was the flight" I asked
"Great... we both fell asleep.. haha.."
"I see... we need to get some grub... is that ok"
"Yeah..."
*Jade's POV*
We walked out of the airport. We went to some pizza place. I was sitting in the booth with Kylie. LJ was waiting at the register to pick up the pizza. Kylie looked at me and started making faces. It made me laugh.
We took the pizzas to his mom's place. Nerves started to build up again. I grabbed Kylie and I's bag. She held onto my hand. We walked in after LJ. He's been acting strange lately. He can't even keep a conversation or make eye contact. He went to put the pizzas in the kitchen while I go put our stuff in his room. I also plugged in my phone, because it was low. I left it in the room. I walk out to meet the whole family.
*LJ's POV*
Jade was hugging the family. I went into my room, to change my clothes. I walk in and I hear a phone vibrate. I walked towards the dresser and Jade had a text message. I tapped the screen and it was from Cade.
"Hey... you ok?"
What the? Why is he concerned about them? This is my family dammit! I walk into the bathroom to change into my comfy clothes. I walk back out and I passed Jade. She walks back in the room.
There was a knock on the door. And it was Christen. Perfect timing as always. I welcomed her in. I looked at my parents. They were pissed. They gave me the look, as in "What the hell are you doing".
"Christen... welcome back"
Then Jade comes walking out. She leans against the wall, arms folded. Kylie was in the middle of us. She looked back and forth. My family sat there quitely. Waiting for something to happen. There she goes back in the room.
