*Next Day/ Jade's POV*
Luke and I decided to have a cook out. Since Cade is coming over. Because him and Luke will be house sitting for me. I was at the grocery store with Kylie. We picked out steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs, and brats. Some side dishes, and drinks. Kylie and I were checking out. I got a call from Cade.
"Hey" I said
"Mocking Jay! Hahaha... what are you doing"
"Hahaha... I am at the store with Kylie... gettin things for the cook out"
"Yummy.. well I should be there about another fifteen minutes..."
"Alrighty... see ya in a bit bud"
"Later"
Kylie and I walk out the store and headed home. I drove my truck instead. Luke said LJ took off, but don't know where. I put Kylie in her carseat and buckled her in. She smiles at me.
I hopped into the driver seat and off we went back home. I started playing my iphone. In the review mirror I see Kylie bobbing her head. I smile, so we pull up the house and Cade was already here. Him and Luke were setting up the grill.
"Mocking Jay" he shouted
"little help... would be pleasant" I said sarcastically
They walked up to the truck.
"I got Kylie" Cade said
"Good, cause your on diaper duty"
"Nevermind"
I laughed. Cade and Luke carried the groceries back in. I went up stairs to change Kylie's diaper. I heard Luke and Cade talking downstairs.
After I changed Kylie, we walked back down stairs. I stuck her in her play pin. She started playing with her toys. I was carrying the steaks out to Luke, since he started the burgers. Cade was out there helping him. After I took everything out to them, I started on the side dishes. Then I hear multiple voices coming from the front door.
"Oh Jade... I want you to meet Lacey" LJ said
"Who the flying f**k are you" I thought
"Lacey this is Jade.. my daughters mother" LJ said
"Hi..." I said with a fake smile
"Oh my god! Your Jade Billings! Girl your my idol.. my god your so much beautiful in person" Lacey
"yes... and thank you"
"How did you guys meet? Why did you two split? I mean you guys are a cute couple" she rambled on
"Yeah LJ... how did we meet and why did we split... LJ can answer your questions... I gotta go take this to my brother... enjoy your evening" I said
"Can we take a selfie" she asked
"Uh.. sure"
So we took a picture and I left them alone. What the actual hell?! I looked at Luke and Cade, and they had a angry look on their face. They both shook their heads. After I got done with the side dishes, I took them outside. Then I walk back in to grab Kylie.
The boys and I sat outside enjoying dinner. I closed the back door, well it's a sliding door actually. We were laughing about the stories. Kylie was stealing the fruits off my plate. I handed her over to Luke, while I go get her some more. I walk back in.
"No invite" LJ said sternly
"Feel free.. since you brought someone home... without my permission" I said and walked back out
