Chapter 24

Patricio P.O.V

"Patricio?!" sigaw ni Grethel na ikanatigil naming dalawa. Napatayo bigla si Meggan at lumayo sa akin.

Napatingin si Grethel bigla kay Meggan. Nang magkatinginan sila ni Meggan ay halos madulas ito sa gulat.

"M-meggay?! No..." asik nito habang nakatingin kay Meggan. Ngumisi si Meggan sa kanya at nakita ko ang pagdilim ng mukha nito. "Y-you're alive...?"

"Why? Are you scared of me?" natatawang tanong ni Meggan.

"I'm her twin, Grethel." Matalim nitong tininingnan si Grethel na dahilan para tumayo ang balahibo ko. Lumapit siya kay Grethel, napalayo naman si Grethel kay Meggan.

"D-don't come n-near me!" natatakot na wika ni Grethel habang lumalayo. Parang natuwa si Meggan nang makita ang reaction ni Grethel.

"What are you talking about, Grethel? Nakaharang ka kasi sa pinto, alis!" asik ni Meggan at marahang tinulak si Grethel, napaupo sa sahig si Grethel at napa-aray. Lumabas si Meggan ng office ko.

"Bakit kasama mo 'yon?!"

"She's my Architect, and what are you doing here?" walang emosyon na tanong ko. I'm not ready for some shit.

"I'm just visiting you! Hindi ka pa umuuwi," wika nito, tumawa ako ng mapakla bilang sagot.

"Ako?" Turo ko sa sarili ko. "Uuwi sa bahay mo? Nangagago ka ba? Hindi na ako uuwi. Don't expect me to come home to your house." Tumawa muli ako ng mapakla nang sabihin 'yon.

"Si Hannah! Umiiyak siya lagi dahil wala ka!"

"Hindi ko naman siya anak, Grethel! You fuck other man and claiming it that it's mine! Are you fucking crazy?! You killed her real father just because you want to be with me!" sigaw ko na ikinatigil niya but something is off, her composure change as she looked at me.

"I'm still your Wife, Patricio! So, go home!" matalim nitong saad, kahit nakaramdam nang kakaiba ay tumawa ako nang malakas. I'm so done with this stupidity.

"Makikipag divorce na ako sa'yo, Grethel. Ayoko na kita makita, dahil isa kang malandi," walang emosyon kong saad, lumapit sjya sa'akin at sinampal ako ng malakas.

I didn't feel any pain here, in my heart there's a pain.

"You can't do that! Ikaw ang ama ni Hannah, kaya hindi mo kayang gawin 'yon!"

"Kung iyong anak mo nga hindi ka mahal, ako pa kaya?" sarkastikong saad ko at pinagkrus ang mga kamay ko. Tumingin skya sa akin na parang hindi makapaniwala.

"Kung 'yong anak mo ayaw sa'yo, ako pa kaya? Kaya kong kuhanin si Hannah dahil ayaw niya sa nanay niyang baliw. Kukuhanin ko si Hannah at makikipag-divorce ako sa'yo. It's easy, right?" matalim na saad ko, tumayo ako at nilagpasan siya at lumabas ng office.

I let out a heavy sigh and went to the coffee machine. Nagulat ako nang makita si Meggan na umiinom ng kape. Tumungo na lang ako at bumili ng kape.

"Sit here," utos niya kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. Tumango ako ng dahan dahan at umupo sa tabi niya. Parehas kaming tahimik habang umiinom ng kape.

"How?" saad nito kaya napatingin ako sa kanya, hindi niya masabi ang sasabihin nya.

"How did you both met?" patulog niya sa tanong. I looked at her, knowing who is it.

Alam kong si Meggay ang tinutukoy nito.

"In coffee shop. She was doing her plates peacefully when I spilled my coffee on her plates, she was fuming mad because she was doing her plates for seven hours and I just spilled my coffee. So, I'm the one do her plates in just one hour." Kwento ko habang inaalala lahat.

"Interesting. Then how did you both parted ways?"

Napatingin ako sa kanya bago umiwas nang tingin. "She was singing in the interview, then she sees me with Grethel, she thought that we have a relationship." .

She gripped the cup and looked at it.

"Then, why did you come back to her?" She questions. I stopped in the track, thinking why the hell did I comeback?

"I thought before, that if I come back we will still have the chance to do our promises but everything changes that night... When Grethel tells me that she was pregnant and I'm the father. I can't do anything and just choose to be with Grethel." Tumawa ako.  "And the thing is... I'm not even the real father."

Tumingin siya sa akin nang blangko na parang alam niya na 'yon ang sasabihin ko.

"She died watching you marrying someone," She coldly said with a growled. She looks mad and yet I still want to stay beside her.

Kahit ako galit ako sa sarili ko eh.

"Do you know how painful it was to her? You promise her! She was in pain that time! Her friends are using her! And then you said it to her that Grethel is fucking pregnant and you're the father!" She was fuming mad as she said those words, even though I am to myself;  I was mad.

"Meggay... she's my Sister but every one is treating her like a trash. She loved you! She loved her friends! But end up dying because of all of you!" sigaw nito sa akin, napayuko na lang ako dahil sa galit at guilt na nararamdaman ko.

"If that time you didn't spilled your coffee on her plates, edi sana buhay pa siya ngayon! Kung hindi ka lang niya sana nakilala buhay pa siya ngayon! Kung hindi ka bumalik buhay pa sana siya ngayon!" Her words cut deep down to me.

If I didn't meet her, would everything change to how was it before?

"Hindi ko nakasama ang kapatid ko. Hindi ko siya nayakap. Hindi ko man lang siya nahawakan. Kayo nakasama niyo siya pero ginawa niyong basura ang kapatid ko!" I heard her sobbes while saying those words. The pain in her voice making me want to cry as well.

"Why did you kill my sister?" usal niya at tinakpan ang mukha niya gamit ang mga kamay niya. She sobbes quietly.

"I-i'm sorry." 'Yon na lang ang nasabi ko sa lahat.

If I knew it all then, would I do it again?

"Walang magbabago sa sorry mo, Patricio." Matalim na muli ang boses nito at kasabay noon ang pagpunas niya sa mga luha niya.

"Your wife killed her," walang emosyon nitong saad na parang hindi siya umiyak. I nodded my head as I watch her leave again.

"Papatayin ko rin si Grethel bilang ganti."

Meggan's P.O.V

Tumawa ako habang pinupunasan ang luha sa mga mata ko.

"Plan number one is now setting." I whispered to myself and chuckled to how I was acting good, better than Grethel.

Flashback....

"Anong plano niyo, Madam. Pag nagpakita na kayo sa kanila," tanong ni West sa'kin.

Napatingin ako kay Kevin na umiinon ng red wine.

"Don't worry. Magagawa ko rin kaagad 'yon dahil kakambal ako ni Meggay." I sip to the wine.  "We will target Patricio first and Grethel."

They all look at me, listening intently.

"Plan number one is making Patricio fall in love with me," saad ko na ikanatigil ni Kevin, tumingin siya sa'kin at tinaasan ako ng kilay.

"Are you serious?" Kevin asked me with an irritated tone.

"Don't worry, Kevin. Siya lang ang mai-in love hindi ako."

"What if you fall inlove to him? Paano na ako?" He asked to me like a lost dog. I bit my lower lip, he looks cute right now.

"I won't fall in love with the man who killed my sister, Kevin."

"Everything will be play at all. I will target sooner the users after Patricio." I growled and broke the wine glass by my hands.

I'm ready to make you all die in my hands.
