After two weeks I had already found my pace at work and at the end of the day I heard a voice that sent chills down my spine.

Instinctively, I cringed as his voice approached until it was behind me. I turned around and smiling down at me was Theo van der Beek, the anchorman from the 18:00 news.

"Roos, I'm glad you returned to our team."

I could count almost all the teeth in his mouth exposed in that charming smile that left me completely disturbed. I stood up and held out my cold hand in the direction of the hand he offered to me.

My breathing was already irregular and I still couldn't answer him. The words choked on their way out. Jaap had also stood up and, in my silence, stole the anticipation for himself.

"Mr. van der Beek, good afternoon. "

"Ah. Hi Jaap. I came to see Roos. We worked closely until she was transferred last time."

I heard his words and although a shy smile was on my lips, my eyes were wide, I was in survival mode.

I was waiting for when he would start doing everything he had ever done to me again.

He said goodbye and left for the recording studio. He was already gone and I still hadn't been able to say anything.

After the adrenaline wore off, my hands started to shake and I felt a tremendous need to get out of there.

Without thinking twice I followed the path to the exit door. It was raining and I was forced to stop under the canopy.

I kicked the wall next to the door while smoking, curled up by the cold. A few minutes later, Jaap appeared with my bag and my coat.

"Oi Roos. Sorry, but I took the liberty of closing your computer and bringing you your things. Today's shift is over." He came over and handed me my coat. "Is everything alright?"

"Thank you, Jaap." I was just closing my coat and I took the bag from him. "I'm not that well, but I will be okay."

"Where are you going now?"

"I'm going to the centre, I'm going to meet my friends at Prins Hendrik. Why?"

"Did you come by bicycle? I can give you a ride."

"You don't have to, Jaap. This coat is waterproof."

"Okay, Roos, but I insist. On the way there, you tell me what happened."

I accepted his proposal, I really was not well to be alone and the rain was freezing. Recounting what brought me here for him wouldn't be so bad if I were hot and dry in a car.

While he was driving inside the Mediapark complex he brought up the subject again. Now I didn't think it was bad in any way for me to tell him about what caused me to be transferred in the first place. He could be someone with a watchful eye to help me.

I took a deep breath and then started.
