The best gift I could give him was myself. It sounds stupid and maybe it is, but there, at that moment, it seemed to be all he wanted.

He gave me something in return too. The vibration of his words on my skin when he said he loved me will be marked there forever. This is a certainty that I carry. I was not able to repay what he gave me in words and for that reason I gave myself to him. And he showed me that he wished for nothing more.

He woke me up carefully, his face next to mine, our hair a mess, his lips laying kisses on my nose.

"I never thought that I would meet someone who sleeps more than I do." His words escaped by a smile that left his eyes small.

"I never thought you were the type to wake others with kisses on the nose" I replied trying to push him away.

"Hey, don't push me, otherwise I'm not going anywhere." He said getting off me and hugging me from behind, spooning me and burying his face in the back of my neck. "Come on, let's start the day."

"Doing what you are doing, my desire to get out of bed becomes nonexistent." I brought his hand to my breast and he gently pinched my nipple, but released it too quickly.

"No. I drove to Maastricht, I want to get to know Maastricht."

He got out of bed and I followed him with a grunt of complaint. I stopped in my backpack to get my medication while he went to the bathroom and I heard him turn on the shower. When he returned he saw me with my eyes resting on the bathtub.

"We didn't even use the bathtub" I pouted.

"Oh yes? We have a bathtub in my house, it is the same."

"We have a shower in our houses too..." My pout turned into a naughty smile when my eyes met his.

"Okay, but I really want to see some of the town before we go back to Hilversum."

I behaved myself and fulfilled his wish. After we checked out from the hotel and left our backpacks in his car, I let him guide me through the city streets after what he wanted to see.

Our first stop was pathetic. We stopped to eat at HEMA, but we were not ashamed of our choice. Yoongi chose a croissant with jam, bacon, bread and eggs, while I chose a salami panini.

From there he took me to visit Dominicanen, that bookshop installed in an old church. The place was absolutely beautiful. I had already seen some pictures, but in person the effect was different. There was nothing particularly spectacular, but the imposition of that church on me had an unexpected effect. I never went to churches, I'm not religious and I don't think they are that interesting. Perhaps that was why the beauty of the place impressed me so much. I took the opportunity to update my Instagram with a photo of Yoongi's back and that breathtaking ceiling.

After some time walking along the bookshelves, we separated. Yoongi was distracted by some graphic novels and I kept walking, until I found the biography section. I took a biography of Jane Austen and looked for somewhere to sit. I think it was a few hours before he found me, because I was well into the story when I felt him sitting next to me.

"I thought you forgot you had come with me," I said playfully as I closed the book. He peered at the cover of my reading.
