I woke up to the daylight streaming through the cracks in the curtain. The room was already considerably clear and I guessed it was already mid-morning. I felt under the pillows, but I couldn't find my phone.
I crawled out of bed and peered out the window. The street was very busy and I could see the time on my wristwatch. It was two in the afternoon, I had slept for almost ten hours.
I turned on my kettle in the kitchen and headed for the bathroom. I drank my tea and ate a hearty breakfast and then remembered of my phone. I ran in my coat hanging at the entrance and saw that he had no battery.
I left it in the charger for a while while I dressed. I smelled my hair and realized that I should wash it later.

Yoongi
Good morning, what do you think of
Royal Mandarin and
a film at the Filmtheater?
11:03Roos
Good morning and good afternoon!
I woke up just now...
I think it's great.
What time?
14:29Yoongi
There are some films with sessions around 21:00. I can pick you up at 18:30 pm.
14:36Roos
Alright.
I'm going out for a ride now,
but I'll be ready at 18:30.
14:37Yoongi
Right, see you later.
14:39I put on the first shoe I saw in front of me, grabbed my parka and let the door slam behind me. My plan was to go into the woods and feel my body work. I took my bike and turned some music on on my phone, fitting just one of the headphones to my ear.
I cycled through some streets until I found my usual entrance to the dirt road and let the songs speak to me. It didn't take long for me to be completely surrounded by vegetation. The path was a little treacherous due to the rain that had been falling for so long, but I was aware of my route. I stayed there for a while, until I crossed the A27 and continued on to Baarn. My initial plan was to eat at Kasteel Groeneveld, but the restaurant was closed. I went to the public pool at Vuursche Bos and rested for a while on the steps of the building. From there, I made my way back home.
It was already dark when I crossed back to Hilversum on the N415 and I decided to finish my ride through the city streets.
I took a long shower until I felt my whole body relaxed, washing my hair thoroughly. I still had an hour to get ready before Yoongi was here.
I dried my now too long hair under the hot blow of the blow dryer, combed my bangs to the side, leaving my eyes in full view and drew a black line in the upper lash line, leaving a discreet tail in the outer corners. I applied the black mascara to them and my eyes popped out on my face. The small pupils in the center of my gray irises. I let my fingers smooth over my cheekbones and the bridge of my nose as I watched my freckles on my pale skin. I applied some color to my cheeks and reached for my dark purple lipstick to cover my lips.
I wore a thermal legging and a long, wide, dug black tank top, covering even below my hips. I wore a black bomber jacket with light cream fabric arms and put a scarf folded like a bandana around my neck. I watched myself in the full-length mirror in my room and I liked what I saw.
I sat down wearing only socks on the couch and waited for a while. I got ready faster than I thought I would. When it was 18:20 I got up, a little out of patience and put on my boots, took out my phone and made sure my cigarettes, wallet and keys were in my parka pockets.
I lit a cigarette when I left the building and walked across the street. I was looking at some clothes in a store's window when I noticed that someone had stopped next to me.
"Ah!" I screamed seeing him standing there. His eyes had practically disappeared as he laughed at my reaction. "What a fright!"
"Sorry, I did not mean to scare you." He was still laughing. "I was going to ring your intercom when I saw you here."
"Wow, but you could have signaled you were approaching."
"I wasn't that quiet, I think you were distracted."
"I certainly wasn't paying attention to my surroundings." I admitted with my heart still pounding in my chest.
"You look beautiful," he told me, his expression still amused, but completely changing the subject.
"Thank you." I felt my face heat up, I definitely blushed for what he told me. He said, "I'm just going to finish that cigarette and we can go."
He guided me to his car and I sank into the passenger seat as soon as he unlocked the doors. The smell I had missed enveloped me again. The way to the restaurant was not long, but navigating the centre's streets takes a few turns as just a few streets allow traffic both ways.
