Chapter 30/ Levi POV

It was just before dawn when all the scouts were told that we were to meet and saddle up outside of the stalls.

I had just finished tightening my saddle and was now steering my horse out from her stall so I could then mount her.

"Cadet Y/N!" I hear a males voice from behind me. A tall man with brown hair, medium build with tan skin was walking over to me. Holding out his hand for me to shake . I took it giving it a firm shake.

"Nice to finally make your acquaintance, you'll be on my squad from now on. It's a honor to have you on the Whites Squad." He blushes as I begin to put one of my feet through the stir up to hoist myself up onto the horse.

"Is it still Cadet Ackerman? Oh! Let me help you out with that!" A little to eager Captain White reached out to help me, his hands plant themselves firmly on my hips before they are immediately smacked away.

"Tch it's Ackerman." Levi hisses at the other Captain. Replacing Captain Whites hands with his own. He helps push my weight up and over the horse before I'm able to object.

"Captain White I trust you'll be able to suppress your predator behavior around my wife or do i need to leave you a reminder as to what happens when you don't?Levi turns on his heel to size up to the other Captain.

"That won't be necessary Captain Levi, he was just being a gentlemen. Not all Captains are out to get into their subordinates pants." You hiss back in Levis direction.

He then turns to meet your eyes with a glare referring to your hidden comment about Samantha. He scoffs in your direction before turning back to meet Captain Whites shaky gaze.

He was most definitely intimidated by Levi and it showed.

"You know Captain White the human body only needs so many fingers to be able to grip our blades, I would recommend keeping your hands to yourself from now on. Unless that is, you prefer I make well on my word." Levi whispers almost to low for my ears to catch.

Turning back around to meet my eyes Levi grabs ahold of my horses reigns and directs it out of the barn away from the other cadets. So he could have me in private.

"Y/N when are you going to let me explain myself. We need to talk. For fucks sake you are my wife." His grip tightens on the horses reigns as he looks back and forth between my eyes searching for a answer.

"I may be your wife right now but not for much longer. I'll be submitting our paper work when we return from the expedition. And there never should have be any need for you to have to explain a god damn thing." Meeting Levis gaze I wasn't going to allow him to win this.

"You can't be serious Y/N your most certainly not submitting any paperwork. I won't agree to it. I won't allow it..." cutting Levi off before he could continue.

"Did you come into my room last night?" Holding up your left hand to show the shiny silver band.

"You and Kaneki are still mine. You are still my wife. I wanted to check up on you after the events that happened. But Y/N I won't say it again. Do not take that ring off ." Levi's voice begins to shake with the last part of his sentence.

"Captain L.." you begin to argue back.

"No Y/N you listen, do not take it off again. And please don't do anything reckless on this expedition. We will discuss everything when we get back." It comes out more as a order then a request. Levis brings his eyes back up to mine.

"I love you Y/N don't ever question that." He says before turning and heading off to his squad. Before I was even able to....

"Ready Ackerman?!" Captain White yells in my direction forcing me to peel my eyes from Levi toned figure as he continued to move further away from me.
