The sound of knocking seemed to be getting closer and closer as I came to from my slumber.

Levi was already up and out of the bed heading for his office to see who could be knocking at this hour.

"This better be good." I heard Levi sigh as he opened the door.

"My apologies you know I wouldn't come at this hour unless it was something of most importance." The sound of another's mans voice filled the office space. It could only fit one person. Erwin.

"Come in." I could hear Levis voice respond. Quickly wrapping the white sheet around my naked body I check to see that Kaneki is asleep in his attached room. Bringing his blanket up closer to cover him I head for Levi's office.

Peaking only the half of my body out  I spot shirtless Levi sitting at his desk as Erwin takes a seat in front of him.

"Levi." You whisper out into the room.

Both men turn to see where the voice had come from. Erwins eyes bulge wide open as he looks over your clearly naked body as it was poorly wrapped in sheets. The sheet had fallen open at your thigh and was showing far to much skin.

"Is... is everything okay." You bring the back of your free hand up to rub the sleep out of your eyes.

Erwin gulps loudly. As he tries to pull his eyes from the pale olive skin of your upper thigh.

Levi clears his throat pulling Erwins eyes from your half naked figure.

"Everything fine. Go back to sleep love." Levi gives me a soft smile before directing his attention back to the Commander.

"Please... don't be to long." Allowing your puppy dog eyes to come forth as a guilt trip. Before turning around and closing the door that connected the office to the living quarters.

Finding your way back into the now cold bed you wrap yourself up into the blankets further. Sighing as I feel my head connect with the soft pillow I close my eyes to concentration on chasing the sleep I once was in.

"That's absurd!" Levi's voice booms through the office and into the room. Just in time to hear his fist connect with the wood of his desk.

"Erwin no! I've never asked for anything. Don't allow this to happen." Levi's voice almost sounded strained as if he was in pain.

"I'm trying Levi. I truly am. But it's a impossible situation." Erwins voice was almost hard to hear as he whispered back.

"Erwin I can't. I can't allow it." Levi voice almost sounds like it was about to crack.

"I'm doing what I can, I think I can keep her here but in a different base. I'm trying to at least keep her in the same military branch." Erwin voice was even lower this time.

"Erwin..." Levi was pleading now.

"I don't want this anymore then you do. You have my word I will fight this as hard as I can. Until then, cherish the time remaining. It could be some time before you can come together as a family again." Erwin voice seemed to get quieter. And then I heard the door shut.

Jumping upwards and out of bed I run to the office door. Swinging of open to find Levi was leaned forward with his head in his palms.

"Levi?" My voice almost comes out unrecognizable. Never had I ever seen Levi in such a fragile state.
Crossing the room I put myself in between his legs and lean back onto his desk as I hold the sheet tightly around my body.

"Levi talk to me please. Your scaring me. I heard Erwin. Same military branch? Who was he talking about?" Looking down at Levi as he brought his head up from his hands. Still not looking up to meet your eyes.
