Y/N POV

Bringing the back of my hand up to Erwin's door, I knock three times with the back of my knuckles.

I wait to hear him call back out to me before I step inside.

Closing the door behind me, my eyes find Levi standing behind Erwin, his eyes trained on the paperwork below, eyebrows pinched tight as his jaw flexed. Reaching forward, he breathes deep as he flips the page, looking at the next document.

"Y/N, please sit."

Erwin nods at me, holding one of his hands out to direct me to the chair in front of him before looking back down to see what had caused the sudden mood shift in Levi.

Erwin's eyes track Levi's finger before he stops breathing, turning to meet Levi's eyes as he speaks.

"Military Police."

Erwin closes his eyes before shaking his head.

Levi's eyes look up, meeting mine before he gives me a gentle smile, ignoring Erwin beside him.

"Morning."

He raises his brow at me casually, as if he wasn't inside of me only an hour ago.

"Good morning."

I smile back at him, looking away.

"Kaneki?"

He questions, speaking as if Erwin was not in the room.

"He's with Hange. I dropped him with her before I made my way here."

He nods again, looking back down to the paperwork.

"Y/N, I asked Levi to be here, knowing now that the two of you are in a relationship. Please know that at any time you can request for him to leave the room and no questions will be asked."

My brows tug tight as I look at the two of them and then back to Levi. He reads the worry written so clearly on my face before he makes to move.

"What's going on?"

Levi comes around the desk, dropping to his knee before taking my hand in his own. Bringing my knuckles to his lips, he kisses them before he places his other hand over them.

"Please, don't be angry. Know that I did this out of a desire to protect you, that I care for you..."

I shake my head, looking back at the Commander confused.

He clears his throat before his eyes find mine, speaking.

"After you confided in Captain Levi about the assault you faced the night of your son's conception... He hand-delivered me a full report with the description of all three men after you had gone into detail later about it. Levi filed an official harassment report."

I look back at Levi, tugging on my hand, but he holds tight.

"Breathe, I will protect you. It's okay, I won't let you do this alone."

No, it wasn't about that. I just wanted to forget it ever happened. I had made it this far.

My eyes shoot back and forth between Erwin and Levi.

"We have identified your attackers, Y/N."

My mouth runs dry as I stare at the Commander in shock.

He turns the documents around for me to see before I stand, pulling my hand free from Levi's to take the documents from Erwin.

Breathing in, I slowly open the documents as Levi pushes himself up to stand.

"One of them is a Captain in the Military branch, the other two are cadets under his rank."
