Chapter 34 / Levi Pov

Kaneki laid asleep between me and Levi. We were all cramped together onto a small mattress. Far to small for all of us. You had your back facing Levi for most of the night but couldn't take another second laying on that side. Letting out a loud sigh you slowly roll over careful not to wake anyone.

Adjusting yourself to a more comfortable position you glance in in Levis direction to find his eyes staring right back into yours. He had been awake the whole time.

Propping yourself back up on your elbow preparing yourself to roll back over Levi faintly whispers.

"Don't." His voice almost comes out as a muffled plea.

Still staying propped up on your elbow you stare forward at the wall unable to meet his eyes. You contemplate your next move.

"Why can't you look at me Y/N. Do ....do you hate me that much?" Levi's hand reaches out over Kanekis sleeping face. He places it on top of yours.
Delivering gentle strokes back and forth on the back of your hand.

"If that's true then how can you be with me like earlier tonight. Share something like that together again?" He adds.

Laying down onto my back I stare up at the ceiling taking in a deep breath before you continue.

"I don't hate you. I hate that I love you. I don't know if I will ever be able to move past Samantha. And I hate myself for it. I'm trying so hard but I hate the thought of you two so much. I can be with you like that tonight because of him." Pointing to Kaneki speaking again before Levi was able to interject.

"You are all I've ever known Levi. You were the first person I was ever with. Shared something with." Looking down at Kaneki before continuing.

"Something I can't even begin to explain. I've been with other men. But I've never had a bond like I do with you." Levi's hand comes up from your hand as grabs ahold of your chin to turn you to finally meet his gaze.

He was looking back and forth in between your eyes searching for something.

"It would almost be different if you found comfort in someone else's arms but you went back to her.... it makes me feel as if .... maybe you always carried feelings for her. So what's to say it won't happen again. Im just another option that you happened to get pregnant."You finally finish. Dropping your eyes down to admire Kaneki sleeping. At least there was something good that came out of all of this.

Tugging firmly on my chin I look back up at Levi's eyes. He almost looks hurt.

"Come here." Levi pushes back the blankets and makes room for me to crawl into his arms creating more room on the bed for Kaneki.

Levi was still laying on his back his right arm was wrapped around my shoulder. He brought his left arm over to pull you onto his chest. Bringing his hand up to run his fingers through your hair he kisses your forehead.

"Y/N I married you because I couldn't bare the thought of being with anyone else in this world but you. I don't think you are able to see how absolutely in love I am in with you. I don't ever want to see the day that you create what we have with another man that isn't me. Getting you pregnant is without a doubt single handedly the best thing that has ever happened to me."Tightening his grip around you he bringing the hand that was tangled in your hair to your chin. Tugging your lips up to his. Levi moans in your lips.

"As far as Samantha goes.... she was convenient. She sought me out when she knew I was impaired. Far to drunk to make any rational decisions. Your right she was familiar and that's the only reason it happened. I had no desire to pursue anyone who wasn't you. No drive. No energy. She was easy and that's why it happened." Bringing his lips back to yours he pushes some free strands of hair of of the way behind your ear.
