.......................................................................
The weeks seemed to come and go in a blur. I was able to regain my footing when it came to my ODM usage. But I was hardly able to practice any hand to hand combat in the days that had passed. News of my pregnancy was kept under tight wraps. Not wanting the word to get out of a knocked up Captain that wasn't even sure who the father of her unborn child was. It was easier to just keep quite.

Thankfully there were no expeditions planned for for any time soon. All military branches were to begin training at once in preparation of the expedition to reclaim Wall Maria that was to take place any day now. Our base had still yet to receive any intel as to when the mission was to be carried out.

Walking down the gloomy halls of the base I was carful to avoid running into Michaelson. It had been a few weeks since our intense hookup.

There was apart of me that... I didn't understand. But something in me was fighting back against him.

After claiming his undying love for me and then me not responding the same way.... Well it was just better we kept our space. They didn't mean he was going to stop pursuing me though. I had to practically tip toe around d the base. Careful to avoid eyes.

Clearly I was married. I had a husband. A child I assumed belonged to him? My squad was quick to confirm that.

But... if I'm married... happily.. what am I doing here. Away from him? Why can't I remember any part of that life.

In my defense I was still remembering small different details about my family. I was finally able to identify all of my cadets. I remembered the time me and Michaelson had spent together so long ago.

Finally reaching my chambers I quickly slipped inside locking the door behind me. I quickly sat onto the bed. Leaning my back against the cool wall as I bring my knees up to my chest.

But that was just it. Why didn't we work out. Why didn't we stay together. And why does he sound like he's in pain anytime someone's brings up that I'm married.

Bringing my head down into my hands I take a deep breath in as I try to steady my breathing.

Without even realizing what my body was doing my arm had extended outwards swatting the lantern off the nightstand breaking it in the process.

The warm feeling of blood dribbling down my forearm catches my attention.

I had a decent size gash in my arm with a piece of glass hanging out.

"Greaaaat." Pushing your hand down onto your knee to propel yourself upwards. You pull the thick piece of glass out of your forearm. Blood quickly spills from the wound.

Standing there in your dark room my eyes fall into a trance as i watch the dark red droplets run down my arm as they form at the tip of my elbow.

Small beads fall from my skin flattening out into a perfect circle as they made contact with the stone floor.

Time almost seemed to to exist here. I was mesmerized. This has been the only thing I was able to feel in weeks.

Skipping out on dinner was definitely coming back to bite me in the ass. The pregnancy made everything just that much worse. It was true I could have been taking care of myself better. But this..... was the best I could do for now.

Seeing my vision go blurry as I feel my body begin to tingle as it falls asleep. Seeing a dirty shirt on the ground I lean down to pick it up to wrap around my arm. But my weight quickly takes me forward and I end up doing a summer salt into the hard floor in the process slamming into the nightstand knocking a book and glass that was sitting on it off.

There's loud knocking coming from the other side of my door followed by the fumble of the door knob.

"Captain! It's Jean are you okay?!" The doorknob jingles around again.

I groan out in pain as I pick my head up off the hard floor.

"Jeaaaaan." I groan out .

The door comes flying open slamming against the stone wall beside it. Chunks of wood fly in my direction from where Jeans foot had come in contact with the lock breaking it.

His leg was still up in the air, both arms bracing himself against the walls. His eyes looked like they were about to burst out of their sockets when they made contact with the bloody cloth wrapped around my arm as I laid now on my back looking up at the ceiling.

"Why did this have to happen Jean?" I ask out to him keeping my eyes on the ceiling.

"Jean what was that? We all heard aloud bang so I came to find you. Where's Captai...." Connie was already in the doorway.

He hadn't yet noticed me on the floor to fixated on getting a answer from Jean. But Jeans hand quickly grabs ahold of his chin yanking it in my direction.

He gulped down loudly.

"I'll go get Sasha. Fuck the court she needs him. I'll send a letter." And before I was able to ask to who he had disappeared.

Jean quickly ran to me dropping to his knees scooping me up into his lap.

"Captain what happened why are you on the floor? Why are you bleeding?! We have to get this patc..."

"Who am I Jean......?" Grabbing his shirt gripping it tightly in my fist.

"What am I...?" It's as if my tears have a mind of their own and I'm no longer in control of my body. I can feel the warm tears run quickly down my cheeks as Jeans grip tightens around me.

He brings his lips down to my ear. Before whispering.

"Your Y/N Ackerman. Captain of our squad. And wife to Levi Ackerman." His words cascade over me like a warm blanket.

Sasha is in the doorway with a needle to thread my arm closed and bandages.

"Levi.... if I'm married why...am I here?" Looking up at the two searching for some kind of answer.

Sasha quickly came down to our level needle in hand. Pulling the cloth from my arm she grabs the alcohol that she brought pouring it over the gaping wound.

"Fuck!" The sensation of the alcohol making contact with my raw flesh hurt like a bitch.

"Sorry Cap don't want you catching some disease or sickness now." Sasha positions my arm onto her leg as she pinches together the goosing wound. Jeans grip tightens.

"Oh Y/N it's the amnesia you can't possibly think that about him. You... you guys were inseparable I mean the way he would star.." Sashas let's go of the gash on my arm and hits Jean.

"That enough Jean you know she doesn't need more added stress." Placing her hand back over the cut to hold it together I wince out in pain.

"Besides I'm sure she knows that." Sashas calm voice comes out as a whisper.

"But I don't. I don't remember him. I don't remember anything about him. I just don't." Bringing both of their attentions to me.

Before either one of them are able to respond back Connie busts through the doorway skidding on his knees to us. He was sweaty and panting.

"Okay it's done! Where do you guys need me?" He raises his hands up to signal he's ready.

"What's done?" I turn my attention to him.

"We've sent a letter to your husband. It's time he's brought up to speed on your well being. He's...... he's the only one who's ever been able to... help you Y/N we need him now." The last few words come out as a whisper as all 3 of them direct their attention to me.
