Chapter 47/Levi POV

Levi POV

"That's it Erwin! I told you this would happen. And it did. I'm going." Slamming my fist down onto his desk I feel my jaw clench.

"Breath Levi. What exactly did Connies letter intel?" He reached forward to grab ahold of the letter that was crinkled up tightly in my fist.

Loosening my grip so the letter doesn't tear, Erwin pulls it clean from my hand. Smoothing it out against the edge of his desk he bring it up to his face to read.

"You do understand this is a clear violation of the order given to the both of you?" Erwins eyebrow raises at me.

"For fucks sake read the damn letter." Crossing my arms over one another as I walk over to the window. Looking out into the horizon.

She was somewhere out there. Close but not close enough.

"Well this is absurd! I'm not sure why they would have kept crucial medical information away from a spouse. It says here she's suffering from some sort of memory loss? Connies letter is brief at that." Erwin brings the letter down to rest on his desk.

"I have to go Erwin. You know I can't leave her. Not again." Pushing myself off of the wall stepping to the door.

"Levi... if it were any other time I wouldn't fight you on this. But we set out for our expedition to take back Wall Maria at dawn. I need you here. I can't do this without you." His words ring like bells in my ear.

I can feel the wood cracking beneath my grip on his door.

"She's my wife Erwin and Kanekis mother." The words come out like knives.

"And this is for the good of humanity. You have my word. Once the fighting has ceased I won't hold you back ......" I had already left the room before he was able to finish.

Y/N POV

Tugging against the strap on my inner thigh that was connected to ODM gear I make sure it's securely in place before grabbing ahold of my scouts cape. Tying it securely around my neck I bring the hood up over my head.

Late last night we received communication that all scouts were to meet by day brake. We had quite the ride over to wall Maria where the hole was in the wall. To help hide the identity of Eren all scouts were told to wear our hoods.

A knock at my door breaks my concentration.

"Name and Business?" I yell out in the direction of the door.

"Jean and uhh it's actually all of us." He responds back through the door.

"Enter." I yell back at him. My squad quickly flocks into the doorway pushing at one another to make it through the door into my narrow room.

"MOVE POTATO GIRL!" Jean screams at Sasha as he uses his hand to shove her head away from him as him Connie and Sasha all try to push through the doorway at once.

Jason's foot connects with Jeans back kicking them all forward out of the doorway falling face first at my boots.

"Really?" Clipping the last buckle tightly to my leg.

"What do you dorks want?" Grinning down at the 3 as they all scurry to pick themselves up off the dirty floor.

Jean is the first to rise. As Anna, Jason and Chase emerge behind him through the door.

He quickly gives my body a one over.

"Cap don't you think you should sit this one out? After everything with last night and being preg..." I cut him off quickly before he's able to say much more.
