CASE 3.2: Deadly Christmas

"How could I forget those days of Metalized" Nicole sighs "I knew that Grace loved Matthew during the 8th grade. What's a story ... At least I can review some of painful experience at the beginning of adolescent"

Nicole brushes her hair once more and watches the clock which indicates 11:30PM. She pauses for a bit and thinks

"This is a collection of the tearfully experience, no way I miss it. I want to learn from the past as well, just as Grace said. I'll read it tomorrow, in the nearest park."

She turns off the light and pulls her blanket gently covering herself to enter a deep sleep

9AM, February 15th 2020, in the local park of Vancouver

The weather is so warm and friendly. The air is so fresh and clean combining with slightly winter's wind. The sun shines every corner of the whole area of park. The park is covering itself by the green youthful grasses as well as some smelly flowers. The birds stands in the thinnest branch tree and sings with their greatest rhythm of springtime. The couples are hand by hand walking together romantically fulfill with their smile and their happiness. Nicole who is calmly looking the scenery is sitting in the wood bench. She puts off herself with olive long-sleeves, brick scarf, jeans and black Adidas shoes. Her hands hold tight Grace's adolescent experience book. She's still in her deep thought of her painful memories. She wonders how Grace passed through the worst time of her debut teenage: her love, her depression, her fear and her rival. Suddenly, a couple stops immediately and kisses passionately in front of Nicole's view. Nicole calmly says:

"Excuse me, can you ... HAH Megan?!"

Megan and Andrew turn their head to Nicole. They are both surprise to greet her in this place. Megan says:

"Oh Nicole, why don't you tell me that you come to this place earlier?"

"I just want some air" Nicole sorrowed replies 

"What's wrong with you, normally you ..."

"I read the book with sad stories" Nicole lies. She knows that if she reveals the diary written by Grace, no way Megan can tolerate with that. She has narrowed-mind and hot-headed as Grace claims and she promises herself to keep Grace's memories away from someone who is similar with Belliste's characteristics. Megan continues:

"Can you guys wait for me please? I need to pee!"

"Go ahead bae!" Andrew replies. As Megan walks further, he then changes the subject "This is someone's handwriting. Is that belong to Grace?"

"Andrew, you behave so strange than I thought" Nicole said "I thought that you hated her!"

"At first I think so ... but since the day of reviewing the final exam in library, I felt that I liked her somehow and she isn't the kind of girl Megan usually tells me."

"I know, don't worry, your secret is safe with me" Nicole smiles at him 

"Is Grace planning to be a novelist?"

"Oh no" Nicole laughs "She's just telling me about her difficulties of her early teenage. Haha"

"I see. So what's about?"

"I won't tell you until I witness you show up treating her kindly even in Megan's presence. I'm her longtime friend and I know how she feels clearly than you. Oh well Megan is coming!"
