Chapter 6 case 1: Continuous research

7:55 AM, Faculty of Science, UBC

"Hurry up Grace, you only have 5 minutes to take your Chemistry Lab course on time" That is the urgent voice in Grace's mind, who dresses with a white shirt, blue sleeveless sweater,  jeans and white Adidas shoes and holds the school bag . At 7: 30 AM, she discovered that she forgot to set the alarm and she overslept after the investigation. Luckily, she can manage time to eat breakfast a bit, take the clothes then leave her home 15 minutes later. Good news is that she arrives to lab on time as the bell rings. The professor hasn't come yet and she finds a comfortable sit. She looks at the door and accidentally she sees a big notification next to the door like a red alert: "Help us! Someone has stolen our chloroform in the lab during the summer of this year", forcing Grace thinks again:

"Chloroform? Does it relate to the case? So strange. Oh never mind, I must wear blouse immediately. It's in my bag. Professor Wheeler is coming. He will scold me if I disobey the lab's regulation"

2 hours later

Her Chemistry lab course runs smoothly, unlike the Analysis course yesterday. But now she wants to pee, she overslept and she has forgotten to pee too. In the Laboratory building where she takes her lab course the WC makes her annoyed about its unpleasant smell. Because that building is near the Mathematical building, she decides go straightforward to where she will take Analysis course and pee in WC inside there. Finally, she finishes her pee time and she decides to leave the room but something has prevented her to do that. Her right leg jumps to something makes a noise. Turning out that she jumps in a shaky tile on the floor. She can't believe it, it's so easy to remove it 

"Why don't anyone suspect about this? WHAT?!!" She murmurs as she pulls out a bag in horror and she recognize it because the criminal has used it. Inside the bag, it's so horrible when Grace takes the suit and the mask outside. 

"Oh my word, they are wet and they cover with blood and mud a lot. Why everything I find out always covered with that ... Wait, these are belong to the culprit. No way! That explains everything in the case : Shooting Mr. Vallies and the camera done when the bell rings, throwing the gun and the gloves outside in the backyard, entering this WC female to take off the suit and the mask, certainly breaking into the staff room to clean the attacked area like glasses of cameras and using the water with only the suit and the mask. How about the victim, maybe the culprit pulled him inside the staff room, then how this culprit could pull the victim to the main hall? Gosh, I have forgotten to check the scene of the main hall at around 9:45-10 AM yesterday. This person has tricked all the police, professors, students and staff in here"

"Hello! Is someone there? I can't find any room now, please someone opens the door!" The outside of the bag is clean, no one will doubt Grace as the criminal, thus she opens the door. The voice is come from Nicole, who takes a green T-shirt and a jeans, says with lots of surprises:

"Grace, why you been there ..." But Grace interrupts her "Shhhhh, go inside immediately, I want to talk with you". Nicole goes inside the room as Grace locks the door once again. Then Grace continues :

"OK, you know, today I almost be late to my lab course. But it doesn't matter, 'cause I found that there was an alert ... Someone has stolen the chloroform in the lab during the summer. I don't know how it will relate to the case, however, I went to pee in this room and found this bag. Do you recognize this one?"

"Hey, that is belong to the culprit ..."

"Exactly, inside the bag, there are a suit and a mask covering with mud and blood, they are wet, so that can explain why the culprit is certainly be a student, a professor or a staff. You know, no one can know exactly the positions of these cameras. The route ... no one create the shortcut from Driven Post to the backyard exactly like this case... At least, if so, they can create from this road to the front gate. In fact, the cameras I checked yesterday only record from these cameras in the backyard, the main hall of the Mathematical building and this WC. That's all ... Besides, in the staff room, the wet mob still clean just because he or she used this suit and this mask to clean the mess  ..."
