25. Adoption day

"AVALON WAKE UP, MOM HAS HUGE NEWS." Morgan yelled while shaking me. "GET UP! GET UP! NOW!" She said.

"Alright! Alright! I'm up." I said while following her inside. Everyone was sitting in the living room, including Nolan.

"Hey Michelle, whats going on?" "I'm sad but happy. Sadly three of you will be leaving us to live with a family. But this family only lives twenty minutes away." She said.

All of us looked at each other. "Mitch, Eli, and Thomas, there is a mother and a father who saw you on our website, and they want to take you in. The positive note, is that they are willing to let you guys hang out at this house at least two times a week." Michelle said smiling.

Everyone jumped onto them hugging them and so did I.

"Okay everyone, you don't want to kill them." Michelle said. We all got off of them and we were all so happy.

"They're coming to pick you up in two hours so start packing the three of you. Everyone help them out."

Everyone ran upstairs and I stayed down with Michelle and Nolan. "Michelle do you need help with breakfast?" "Nope I'm fine, but you can introduce me to your friend." She sad smiling.

"Oh this is Nolan, he's my best friend." "Best friend? It's only been a week." She said with an eyebrow raised

"Well actually, Mrs..." "Mrs. Carter"

"Mrs. Carter, Avalon and I have known each other since we were about two years old. We've been best friends ever since. When I was ten, I moved here and we didn't have anyway to communicate. But at the carnival two nights ago, I actually spilt my smoothie on her." Michelle laughed.

"Well that's amazing, Nolan, why don't you come to dinner with us tonight?" She asked him.

"Yeah, sure, that would be great. I'll head home and I'll meet you tonight." He said. "Great." Michelle said.

Nolan walked out the front door and Michelle looked at me. "He's cute." She said. "Mom." I said smiling and rolling my eyes.

I paused and she smiled at me. Mom, I called her my mom. "Sorry." I said. "It's alright." She said smiling at me.

"Now go help your brothers pack." She said smiling. I smiled and ran upstairs. I grabbed my camera and ran onto Mitch's room.

"You're finally getting adopted!" I said tackling him onto his bed. "I KNOW!" He yelled. "It's gunna be weird with out the three of you guys."

"It's gunna be weird with my guardians home without everyone else." He said. "Well at least we will see you at least twice a week."

"Do you need help packing?" "Nah I'm done, I literally just threw everything into my suitcase." "Well let me help you bring them down."

I grabbed two of his suitcases and he grabbed the other two, we walked downstairs and everyone was already.

"Guys I want pictures with the three of you." I said. "Let's go take them outside." Michelle said.

I handed my camera to Morgan. I sat on the grass in front of the house, Mitch, Eli, and Thomas all jumped on me, and Morgan took a candid.

I sat crisscross, with Mitch to my right, Thomas to my left and Eli sat on my lap. Morgan snapped another pic.

"Michelle can you take a pic of all of us? Like everyone?" I asked her. "Of course." She said smiling.

Morgan gave her the camera. I stood up and so did Eli, Thomas, and Mitch. I picked up Lily and everyone huddled in. Michelle took the pic.

"Michelle, how about I take one of you and the three guys?" I asked. "Yes please!" She yelled. The guys and her got together and I snapped a pic.

A few minutes later of just running around in the yard, Jeremy came over. "Hey bud!" I yelled out. "Hey Avalon! Hey Morgan!" He said.

"Hey!" She said smiling. Nolan then pulled up in his jeep and got out. We all took one last pic together with Michelle taking it.

We all sat in the grass, just talking. A car then pulled up that was probably the adoption parents.

They got out and I saw a lady and a man who looked about 30-34 years old. "Hi, we're here to pick up our new sons." She said.

"Everyone, this is Nina and Quentin." Michelle said. "Yes and it's a pleasure to see you again Michelle and it's defiantly a pleasure to meet all of you."

"Oh! Nina, Quentin! This is Lily, Morgan, Derek, my actual son, Logan, Jack, Avalon, they are part of the orphanage. This is Jeremy, Zack and Nolan, family friends. And they are Eli, Mitch, and Thomas."

"It's extremely nice to meet all of you." Quentin said. "So if you don't mind me asking, we will be able to see them again, right?" I asked Nina and Quentin.

"Yes, yes, of course, defiantly. I would not want to rip them away from you guys, three or two times a week, they'll be here for the entire day." Nina said.

"Come on you three, time to go." Michelle said.

We all hugged them. "I'm gunna miss you guys, soo much." I said hugging them.

"We'll miss you too Avalon." They said. They got into the car and Nina and Quentin followed. Nina rolled down the window. "It was amazing meeting you all." They said. "Same to you!" We all said and waved.

When the car wasn't in sight, we all went into the back yard.
