I woke up at 5 o'clock in the morning. I took a quick shower. I brushed out my wet hair and I'm letting it air dry today.

I put on my mascara, then threw on my glasses. I put on my floral jean shorts, and a white spaghetti strap blouse.

I went down stairs. "Morning Michelle!" I said hugging her from behind. "Morning Avalon! You're up early." She said smiling. "Yeah! I wanted to help with breakfast this morning." I said.

Michelle was wearing a suit, she wasn't wearing her regular clothes.

"Thank you, well you can beat the eggs for me and cook scrambled eggs." She said. "All right!" I said.
I got the eggs out of the fridge and cooked them.

About 20 minutes later, Michelle yelled and woke everyone up.

Everyone got down stairs and sat at the table. "Kids I'm going to work, I'll be back at 11 tonight, so most of you should not be up." Michelle said grabbing her purse. "Bye mom!" They all said.

"So is this what you meant when she's always working?" I asked Morgan who was next to me. She nodded and continued eating.

"Come on guys, why the down faces? How about, after tutoring, we all go got to the boardwalk or the beach, and we just take the entire day and just hang there? We could play beach volleyball, toss around a baseball, kick around a soccer ball. First the beach then the boardwalk?" I asked them.

All their sad faces turned happy. They were all smiling. "Can we Derek?" Lily asked him.

"Well you guys can, but I'm going out with my girlfriend today." He said.

"Why don't you bring her with us?" I asked him.

Everyone started begging him to come. "Yeah! You never come with us anywhere anymore." Morgan said grabbing onto Derek's arm.

"Fine, fine, I'll see what I could do." He said smiling.

I smiled at him, and he smiled back at me. When we finished eating, I put the dishes in the sink. As I finished putting the dishes in the dishwasher, all our tutors started to show up. We all we to our designated area.

I put the last dish in and Zack came up behind me. "Hey Avalon." He said. "Hey, let me just finish."

I put the last dish in, started the dish washer, and I washed my hands. I walked upstairs and Zack followed. "So today's going to be our first actual lesson, and it's English, originally, English is on Mondays, but yeah." He said.

I pulled the desk over to the windowsill. "So today, all we are going is working on your writing and stuff. So I'm going to give you a person, place, thing, and problem. You will have to write a three to four paragraph story. Including all the things I told you, and a solution to the problem." Zack said to me.

"Well alright then." I grabbed a piece of paper and a pencil. "The person is a girl, this girl owns a camera, she's in California, and the problem is that she's new to the area." He said. "Are you basing this off me?" I asked him. He shook his head.

He stood up and started looking around my room. I started to write. 45 minutes later. I finished it.

"DONE!" I yelled out loud. "Now read it to me." He said.

"I noticed this girl today, she was holding a camera. I thought it was weird at first because she was taking pictures of random things. She took a picture of the palm trees, the beach, the road, the side walk, but she took all of them just standing in one spot. I was wondering why she wasn't moving. I went up to her and tapped her on she shoulder, it was weird because I have never seen her in my life. 'Hey, so I noticed you just standing in one place, taking pictures. Why?' I asked her. 'Well I'm new, and I haven't really seen California yet.' She said to me. 'Do you trust me?' I asked her. She nodded. I took her hand and took her in my jeep.

'So you haven't seen the world yet?' I asked her. She shook her head. Her hair shook around, her brown eyes focused on me. She was a beautiful girl. She seemed very quiet but I knew there was so much more to her. I took her on the road to a place that I know. Where water falls slow, and all the flowers grow. It was beautiful, just like she was. A few minutes later we arrived at out destination. She jumped out of my jeep in excitement.

'Oh my gosh it is beautiful here.' She said. She took off the lens and started snapping the photos. The bright green grass and the soft pink colors from the flowers popped up. The water flowed down on top of rocks. She hopped around snapping pictures here and there. She captured the beauty of nature. 'So why do you like taking pictures?' I asked her. 'I love capturing the image of the beauty of nature.' I took her camera and snapped a photo of her. 'Why are you taking a picture of me?' She asked me. 'Because I like capturing the image of the beauty of human nature.' The end." I said.

"The reason I get to know the people before their first class, is because I like to make their life, connect to the lesson, and see how they react. Your reaction is like amazing." He said smiling.

"Hey, so after tutoring, we were all planning to go to the beach, think you could come? Meet back here in thirty minutes?" I asked him. "Yeah sure." He said smiling. I walked downstairs and walked him to his car. I waved to him as he pulled out.

"OKAY EVERYONE GET READY FOR THE BEACH!" I yelled. Everyone ran to their rooms.
