47. Day 2 Night 2

When we got back to the hotel we celebrated with some ice cream cake. "How about we head to the lake today?" Jackson yelled.

"Well how about you MVP, you up for it?" Kyle said. I nodded and laughed. We all ran and changed into our bathing suits. I put on shorts, my flip flops and didn't bother putting on a shirt.

I shoved somethings into my backpack and we walked out of the hotel to the lake. I took a bunch of pics, of the team and of random things I see as we're walking to the lake.

When we got to the lake, I sat on the dock and put my feet in. "SO WHO'S GOING IN FIRST?" Micky asked. "What do you mean?" I asked. "Well everyone's always scared to jump I first, so we always make one person go in first to see if it's all right." Nolan said.

All the guys circled up arguing who was going first. I shook my head and laughed. They're so random. "How deep is it?" I asked. "Not deep at all, like 6 feet." Coach said.

I took off my shorts and put my hair up in a ponytail. I looked at the guys and they were still arguing. I shook my head, laughed and went in slowly.

The guys didn't even know I was in the water. I dipped my entire body in the water and when I came up I yelled at all of them. "Yo! Guys, seriously it wasn't that hard." I said. Everyone started to laugh and they jumped in after me.

After about twenty minutes of swimming around, I climbed back up and walked off of the dock. I grabbed my phone and walked.

I walked around the edge of the lake which was all sand. When I got to the opposite side that the guys were on, I sat on the sand and just took time to think.

"Hey." I turned around to see Owen in the woods. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?" I asked. I looked to see if anyone was looking and grabbed his arm and pulled him deeper into the woods.

"I wanted to come and talk with you, so I followed you and your team here." He said. "Do you know what they would do if they see us together? They'll kick me off the team, then tell the tornados and kick you off."

"Sorry, I just wanted to congratulate you, you did amazin-" I cut him off when I heard screaming.

I hid behind a bush and looked over. Owen came over next to me. "Oh gosh, Owen circle around the lake but stay in the woods, and go over there. You're teams here and they can't see us."

Owen started to rush and I walked out of the wood. The two teams were yelling at each other. I ran over.

"Oh and here's the lady blue jay." They said looking at me. "If you guys don't shut up I'm going to stick my mother fu-" Nolan grabbed my arm. "Don't even talk to them, let's go." Nolan said.

I went on the dock, put on my shorts, held my flip flops in my hand, and we all walked away.

As we were walking I accidentally bumped into Owen. As we were walking away, I turned around and looked at him and he did the same. As I turned back around I saw Jackson looking at me.

He sighed and waited for me to catch up. When I caught up he put an arm around me. "Listen, you and Owen meet up tonight and I'll cover for you, I'll say you went out and did an errand for me."

I nodded and we walked to the hotel. When we got to the hotel we all took showers and changed. I put on black jean shorts, a lace up crop top, and converse . I reapplied my mascara and put my hair in a pony tail.

"I can't believe they found us." Nolan said. For about an hour or so we all ranted and tried to figure out how they found us... They probably followed Owen. By then it was about 8 o'clock. I went out of the room and ran up to the roof pool and saw Jenna. "HEY! Jenna!" I yelled.

"Hey! So how was you're quote on quote, date last night?" She asked as I took a seat. "Good, he brought me dessert and stuff, and we're meeting up again today. But something bad happened earlier." I said.

"Was it between you and that guy?" She asked. "No, well sort of. Our baseball teams. I told you how they were rivals and completely hate each other. So my team always goes to this lake near by, today we were having fun until the team showed up and now I actually know how much out teams hate each other. And it's like a huge hatred between us."

"Well Avalon, I don't wanna go all mom on you. But truthfully the only way you could get past this, is following your heart. If you're determined to lead this team to a championship, then leave the guy, Owen. But if you wanna date Owen, and you're scared about your team, then quit the team and live in my room for the rest of the trip. OR, you could do both and keep dating Owen a secret, BUT if you feel back about secrets then just come clean." Jenna said to me.

Nolan// Hey, where are you?
Avalon// I'm on the roof talking with Jenna.
Nolan// Come down, were going to dinner now.
Avalon// Alright.

"Hey Jenna, I gotta go to the dinner, but thanks so much. I'll talk to you soon." I said. "Here's my number incase you need me." She said smiling.

She handed me the slip of paper and I slipped it into my wallet/phone case. "Thanks." I said smiling. I walked downstairs and the team was waiting for me.

"Sorry." I said.

As we were walking my phone starts vibrating, it was a text from Owen.

Owen// Me, you, movies? Tonight at ten?
Avalon// Yeah, definitely.
Owen// Meet me in the lobby at ten.
Avalon// Alright, and see you at the dinner.

I shut off my phone and we walked into the dinner. As I walked in, everyone stood up and clapped for me. It was pretty cool.
