I woke up and it was six in the morning. I was next to Nolan in his bed. I got out of bed slowly. I took a shower, dried my hair, put on mascara, and painted on two royal blue lines under my eyes. I looked on the night stand and there was a note.

Avalon, here's some new team apparel. Wake up the guys because they've got to get to the field by eight. Oh and another thing. I've got some personal family things and I'm not going to be able to go to the game to today. All of the warm up equipment, and everything else is in the living room, I also wrote out the positions and batting order for the day. I'll be back by midnight tonight. Good luck, Coach...
-Coach

"Well shit." I said. "What?" Jackson said walking. "JACKSON! I'M NAKED." I said. "I'm not gunna look, but what happened?" He asked. "Coach said he's not gunna be able to come to the game today, so I'm coaching."

"This is gunna be fun." He said. "Now can you call room service and order breakfast while I change?" I asked, he nodded and walked out.

I put on a pair of black jean shorts, the new muscle tee Coach left for me, and my black converse. "I took a pan and a wooden spoon."

Jackson laughed because he knew what I was doing. I started to run up and down the hallway banging on the pan. Everyone then ran to the living room and sat.

Room service then came up. We are and sat. "So guys, Coach had some personal problems but he'll be back tonight, but today, I'm taking over as coach." Everyone clapped.

I was surprised that they were happy about that. After we ate, they changed. I swung the equipment over my shoulder.

"LETS GO EVERYONE!" I yelled. I stepped out of the door, slammed it and walked into someone. I looked at them. "OWEN. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" I yelled in a quiet voice.

"I just finished talking to some girl on the roof." He said. "Jenna?" I asked. He nodded. The doorknob started to turn.

"Owen go. They can't see you." I said. He ran to the stair case and ran down. "Hey, Avalon, let's go." Micky said.

We all took different elevators down then walked to the bus, we got on and made out way to the field. The announcers then spoke.

"Aye! There's the girl of the year! You know, she's taking over Coach's position for the game today." One of them said.

"I wanna see how this turns out, she's a great player; so let's see how she does coaching. You know that's how shes known around here, the Lady Blue Jay. I don't know if she takes that as a compliment or an insult but if I was her, I'd be honored with that title." The other one said.

"Look at all the fans out there, even other teams have made banners with the Lady Blue Jay written on them."

They continued speaking about me, and the crowd grew and grew. "Alright guys! So don't let the crowd bother you, this is a chance for us to get sponsors too. Go warm up, start off with two laps around the entire field, stretch and I'll meet you in the outfield with the baseballs then read you the batting order and your positions." I said.

The guys ran out and started running. I copied down the batting list and positions and handed it to the other team. "Good luck Lady Blue Jay!" The coach said to me. "You too." I said shaking his hand.

I've come to the conclusion that being the Lady Blue Jay wasn't bad at all. It's like my stage name. The crowd loves it and I'm starting to grow on it.

I took my clip board and the baseball bucket and walked out to the guys. I tossed them baseballs and they started throwing with a partner.

"Here's the batting order and your position..." I continued to read out all names. "Coach all these people are here to see you." Jackson said.

"I know, it's weird." I said laughing. "Lady Blue Jay!" Someone yelled from behind me. I turned around and saw three girls standing and waving at me.

I walked over to them. "Hi guys!" I said. "MOMMA SHE'S HERE!" One of them yelled. A lady then came over. "I'm sorry, my daughter and her friends wanted a picture with you." She said. "Oh, no! It's completely fine!" I said.

I ran out of the field and ran to the three girls. We took a quick pic and I talked to them. I then heard the announcers.

"Look at The LBJ! She's loving her fans!" He said. I looked to the girls. "How would you guys like to watch the game in the dugout with me?" I said. All the girls smiled and their mom's nodded. They all ran into the dug out with me. "Look the LBJ's bringing in the girls with her!"

The girls handed me something. "What's this?" I asked them. "Well Blue Jays are birds, and birds have wings. So we bought these little wings, and we got you this one, it's really big and it's royal blue!" One of the girls said.

There were two straps that you put around your arms like a book bag. I smiled and put it on and the girls all giggled. "I have to go and coach, but enjoy the game! Alright?" The girls laughed and smiled.

I ran out to the team with the wings on my back. "WOAH, JONNY BOY! LOOK AT THE LBJ!" One of the announcers yelled into the microphone. "She's wearing wings! Those sweet girls got them for her!" I laughed and everyone clapped.

I called the guys in and we talked. The girls just sat and smiled the entire time.

We ended up winning 12-4. The announcers and everyone else were so happy about that win. And it made me like I don't even know.

I asked the three girl's moms if they could take a picture of them and I on my phone. I got a call on my phone. It was Owen. I answered and spoke.

Owen// Nice wings...
Avalon// Hahaha I know right!
Owen// I saw that you were still wearing the necklace.

I lifted my hand up and held the charm in my hand.

Avalon// Hahaha yeah.
Owen// That means a lot to me
Avalon// Why?
Owen// Well it was passed down in my family and I thought you weren't gunna wear it.
Avalon// Well it's an honor for me.
Owen// How about tonight at ten, meet me at hole three on the golf course?
Avalon// Deal.
Owen// Alright, see you at the dinner.
Avalon// Bye!
