I woke up on the little couch on the roof next to Nolan. "Hey." He said while nudging me.

"What? I'm already awake." I complained. "We should get downstairs, we have a game to play today."

I nodded. "Hey wanna carry me?" I asked him. He nodded and I got on his back and shut my eyes as he carried me downstairs.

My mind kept on going back on what happened yesterday. It's unbelievable that I was just proposed to. I checked my phone to see a lot of missed calls from Owen.

When Nolan walked into our room, he put me down and the entire room went silent. I looked around and then saw Owen sitting with the team. I ran into Nolan's room.

I took a shower and completely calmed myself down. I got out, dried my hair, put on mascara, and I changed into spandex, my Blue Jays Muscle tee, my high knee socks, my slider, and my cleats. I walk out of the room and it was really awkward.

Lily, Morgan, Jack, and Logan were sitting waiting for me on the porch. I did not want to eat at all.

A few minutes later Coach called all of us into the living room. "So guys, today we're vering the Tornados. I'm glad to say that they lost their best pitcher and that he's on our team now. They're now weaker and afraid. Today's our year everyone. Lets bring the gold home."

We all walked out of the hotel and onto the bus. I can't believe that Owen's on the team now.

The bus ride was really awkward, but I was so glad that the Tornados didn't have their star pitcher anymore.

We walked to the field and the announcers started talking about the proposal last night. I kept on looked at Nolan and everyone had their eyes on me.

Nolan stormed away and up to the announcers box. The announcers then changed the subject and Nolan came back down.

"Thanks." I said. He winked at me and ran to the field, we warmed up a little, then the tornados showed up.

We all watched as they walked into their dugout, and all of a sudden, a six foot person walked in wearing a Tornado jersey.

"Guys, who's that?" They all looked confused. Then they all looked at each other. Then they looked at Owen.

"I have no clue who that is." Owen said.

We all walked into the dugout and talked with coach.

"Hey guys, the Tornados found a new pitcher. He was on the minor national team, his last four games have been no hitters." The entire team was dead silent.

"Guys come on, seriously. This tournament has been going so well for us, this is our year to win, and we aren't letting one guy ruin it." Nolan said.

None of the guys said anything. They just kept looking at each other.

"Guys, look, Nolan's right, we can't let one guy get in our heads. We have Owen and Nolan, two extremely amazing pitchers, and all of us have been playing so well. Play with you're heart and mind, be determined. This year is our year. Now all of you stop being little pussies, man up, and let's win. Jays on three?" I said and stuck my arm out.

They all stood up, and put their hands on top of mine. "One, two, three! JAYS." We all ran out to the field since we were on the field first.

I Nolan pitched some to me then batter up. The first batter ended up at first base. Then the second and third batter were stricken out.

The fourth batter was the new guy, he looked at me and smirked. Nolan pitched, the guy hit it, and it went over the fence bring home two people. The next batter, Nolan struck out.

We brought it in and we went over the batting line up. I was fourth up to bat.

First Ryder, Second Jordan, they both got struck out. Nolan was third, he was up to bat and swung, and made it to second.

Everyone started screaming since Nolan broke his no hitter streak.

I was seriously freaking out.

I took my bat and swung twice them stepped into the box. The guy smiled. His last few pitches were at 80mph.

I stepped up to bat, his first pitch came zooming past me, it ended up being strike one.

The second came and ended up being a ball, thank goodness.

The third came straight at my face. It was measured at 80 mph, I tried to move, but I was too slow.

The ball made contact with side of my helmet, causing it to get knocked off, and all I remember after getting hit were the announcers yelling in the mic.

"HIT, SHE WAS HIT, WE NEED A MEDIC."
