31. Gifts/babysitter?

I woke up at 8 o'clock. Probably the latest I've ever stayed in bed. I rolled over, took my phone from the night stand, and looked at my phone.

Morgan// Mom wants to know if you'll be home soon, because she says she has something for all of us, to apologize about yesterday.
Avalon// Yeah, I'll be back soon.

"Hey, you're awake." Zack said. "Yeah." He came in with a trey with pancakes, fruits, a smoothie, and a rose in a mini vase.

"What's this for?" "Just a breakfast for my beauty." He said pulling a mini table over and placing the food down.

"And I will have the pleasure to join you." He said pulling a chair over. We ate and talked. For about 10 minuets we say silent.

"So do you think you'll be alright?" "Yeah, if it gets to the point that I can't see him, then I'll stay here for sometime and go back when I'm ready."

"Good choice." "And if things get, way to, you know... Then I guess if have no choice then to tell Michelle." I said with a sigh.

"But that means you might leave." "Yeah." I said putting strawberries into my mouth. We finished eating and he brought down the dishes and I grabbed my book bag.

We got into his car and he put the car on reverse, then drive. "If anything else happens, you know, with Derek. You tell me, I want no secrets about Derek between us, okay?" "Okay."

When we got home, I said hi to everyone. I ran upstairs, brushed my teeth, put on floral shorts, a black crop top, and my converse. I ran back down and everyone was there.

"So I bought all of you some stuff. Lily, I bought you a new bike. Jack, I got you a new iPhone since you completely broke your old one. Logan, I bought you a new skate board since you broke your old one. Morgan, I bought you a new laptop. Derek, since you were complaining about your baseball equipment, I ordered you and entire set. And Avalon, I know as an 18 year old girl, you absolutely hate driving around that old express truck that looks like a van, and I remember how you always said jeeps were so cool, so I took the black rugged one and got it repainted to fit your style, it's outside." She said.

"Really?" I said with my jaw dropped. The tossed me the keys and I smiled. "Go!" She said.

I hugged her, and ran to the jeep. I stepped in and turned it on. I put it in drive and drove it out onto the street. It sounded just like new and the white was astonishing.

I put it in park and stepped out. "Michelle it's amazing!" I yelled. "Why don't you go for a ride, anywhere you want, I could trust that you won't go away." I smiled and got into the car.

Derek's eyes never came off of me. "No, I think I'll take it for a drive later." "Great, well I got to head to work, see to all soon!"

Michelle got in her car and drove away. "Still, even after this she leaves." Jack said shaking his head. We all walked inside, Derek walked in first.

"So what do you guys wanna do today?" I asked everyone. "How about we all go bowling?" Logan asked.

"How about that neon bowling place in the mall?" "Yeah but I have a feeling we're going to lose Lily." Jack said. "Mom has a list of babysitters we used to have before Derek was over 18." Morgan said.

"CALL MARGO!" "Margo? The one who lives near the beach? Blonde? Wavy hair?" "YEAH!" "Oh well I have her number, I could call her." I said.

They looked at me oddly. "I met her on the boat dinner." "SHE WAS THERE?!" Morgan yelled. "Yeah but I didn't know you guys knew her."

"SHE WAS THE BEST BABYSITTER WE EVER HAD!" Lily yelled. "Okay! Well I'll call her!" I said smiling.

I took my phone out and stepped outside.

Avalon// Hey Margo! It's Avalon, Jax's friend from the boat. So I heard you were a babysitter once, and everyone wanted to know if you could baby sit Lily tonight? And after, Jax could come over and we could all hang.
Margo// Yeah! Of course! What time?
Avalon// Um 6ish to 6:30?
Margo// Yeah sure! see you later!
Avalon// Thanks!

She hung up and I went back in. "She said she'll do it!" I said. Everyone smiled.

I made a smoothie and chugged it down, everyone ran upstairs and changed into our swimsuits.

I put on a dark blue bathing suit, I put muscle tee over it and high waisted jean shorts.

We all went into the back yard. I went onto the HUGE rectangular trampoline. Everyone else was in the swimming pool.

I was flipping around, jumping, and doing old tricks.

When I finished I sat on the hammock, Derek sat next to me. I got up and he grabbed my wrist.

"Derek, seriously. Let me go." He kissed my hand and I punched him in the face. He felt his cheek then winked at me. "So you're a naughty one." "Derek you know, you have serious problems, and they are really messed up. Seriously what has happened to that guy who I loved playing baseball with or talking to." "Avalon, you never loved doing any of that with me, but I do know one thing you'll love." He said and winked.

I rolled my eyes, he just gets me so mad. I went inside and grabbed my keys. My phone was in my back pocket, I got in the front seat and drove.
