32. Secret getaway

I drove around for a little while and parked. I got out to Nolan and my secret hide out. I walked through the woods and when I got to the area I sat on the sand.

I took off my shoes and laid then next to a tree. I sat criss cross, staring at the sky and the water.

It was peaceful, no annoying noises, just the small waves hitting the shore, and the birds chirping.

About thirty minutes later, I went on my phone and I received text messages from Morgan, Jack, and Zack in a group conversation.

I walked up into the tree house and sat on a blanket that Nolan and I put up there.

Zack// Avalon, where are you?
Morgan// We saw you leave.
Zack// Did Derek do something?
Jack// I saw him kiss your hand.
Morgan// He did?
Jack// Yeah.
Zack// Avalon, did he?
Jack// Dude, trust me, he did.
Morgan// Avalon, it's like 4 and at 6 we got bowling
Zack// Avalon, come on.
Avalon// Text Nolan. Tell him that I went some where to think. He'll know exactly where I am.
Zack// Ok
Jack// Aight
Morgan// Kk

I sat just on my twitter and instagram. Scrolling through edits and tweets my fans sent to me.

Then going on youtube and looking at all of the comments, mostly about Derek and I. Only if my fans knew what was really going on.

I put my phone down about 20 minutes later, took off my shirt and shorts, and climbed down to the swing.

I sat on the swing and looked into the clear water. I swung and eventually jumped in.

I swam around for a little while, it calmed me down. All the things that happened to me in the past day or so, are driving me crazy.

"Hey Lony." I peeped up and saw Nolan. He grabbed a towel out of his book bag. "Figured you'd need this." He said handing it to me. "Thanks." I said while whipping myself down.

He climbed up the ladder of the tree house and he grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

He sat on the blanket and I sat next to him. "So do you want to tell me what's been going on or no?" He said.

"I'm not sure, it's not a big deal... I guess." "Lony, seriously, tell me if it's bothering you." "It is, it's really bothering me." I said dropping my head into my hands.

Nolan moved my hands off of my face. "Lony, tell me what's up." I stared at him and he grabbed my hand. "When we were eight, I promised you that I'd always know when something's extremely bothering you and that I'm always going to do something about it. I'm always going to be here. I'm never going to leave."

"It's about Derek, it all started with this like family camping thing, and he kissed me. And I kissed him back but I pushed away because if we got caught I'd have to move out of the orphanage. And then like a few days ago we went to this lunch and he kissed me and Jack saw, and then yesterday he like held me against the wall and was like up against me and stuff and he was twisting my arm and stuff and Zack and Jack helped Morgan to the bathroom and they saw us and then Derek got off of me and it was weird. And yeah. I'm just scared because if like an adult finds out I'm going to have to move out and yeah."

I sighed and covered my face with my hands. "Lonix stop covering your face and take deep breaths." He pulled me into a hug. "Avalon, you have Zack and I, and we won't let Derek do anything to you... Okay?"

I nodded my head and I hugged Nolan even harder. I let go and leaned my head on his shoulder.

"I miss them." "I know you do, but things don't happen by accident. Everything in the world was meant to happen. If your family hadn't passed, think about it. You wouldn't have me, or anyone in the 7th street orphanage."

I wrapped my arms around his left arm. "Yeah."

"How about we drive home now, cause everyone's getting worried." I nodded, I put on my converse and we walked to my jeep.

"Want me to drive?" I nodded and tossed him the keys. "Nice jeep." He said smiling.

"Yeah."

I got in and took out my phone and went into the group convo, who Nolan was just added into.

Avalon// I'm coming home rn.
Zack// Good, are to alright?
Avalon// Yeah I'm w/ Nolan
Morgan// And when you get home we have to all get ready for bowling.
Jack// BRING NOLAN TODAY
Avalon// Alright, and okay Jack. Lmao

I looked at Nolan. "Hey we're all going bowling today, do you want to come?" Nolan looked at me and smiled. "Yeah, sure."
