36. Recovery/Liar

I woke up in an unfamiliar place, someone's bedroom to be more specific. I wasn't nude, or in my bathing suit, I was wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt.

My head was pounding and I felt pretty hungover. "Hey, drink this."

Someone handed me a pill and water. Even though I didn't know what it was, I took it.

"I thought you said you didn't like alcohol, it makes you stupid, which is obvious because I found you half nude only wearing your bikini bottom at the party last night." After the person said that, I instantly knew it was Jax. I laughed and fixed my hair. "You were definitely drunk last night and you couldn't even walk to my truck. And you explained what happened with Zack and Margo. Then you cried."

"I don't remember any of that..." I said. "Obviously, come on, breakfast is downstairs."

"Wait I thought that you didn't drink either." I said while following Jax downstairs. "I do, last night I needed to babysit someone." "And yeah? Where are they now?" I asked him.

"You don't need to be a tough guy bud." I said laughing. "Fine, then yeah, I don't drink a lot, probably just a bottle a week, at max two."

"And by the looks of last night, I think you had way to many beers. Or did you go even crazier and take shots?" He asked while smiling at me. "Shut up." I said laughing.

He handed me some water. "How about I give you a few minutes to relax and I'll bring you back to your place?" Jax asked me. "Yeah. " I said.

A few minutes later Jax said we should head back to my place.

"Hey Parks!" I said as I walked into the kitchen. "HI AVALON!" He said back laughing. "Bud, I have to drive Avalon home, aight? See you soon." "Bye guys, and Jax, can I go surfing?"

"When I get back we can!" He yelled while walking out the door.

I got in his pick-up truck and he started to drive. "Dang my head hurts." I said while rubbing my eyes.

"First actually party?" He asked. "Yeah, how'd you know?" "Been there, done that." He said laughing.

I rolled down the window to get some fresh air. "Dude I really hope Zack isn't here." I said as we pulled up in front of the house. I saw my jeep in the driveway.

I got out and ran to it, Jax followed me. "Avalon whats wrong?" He asked. "I left my jeep somewhere else, how'd it get here?"

I saw a note on the seat... It was labeled.

To Lony

"Oh, never mind, well I'll see you soon, alright?" I said laughing. "Do you want me to walk in with you?" "Nah I think I got it." I replied.

I took the note and opened it.

I went to look for you at our place but I only found your stuff, text me when you get back, your book bag and stuff are in the back seat. ~Noly

I stood in front of the door. Right before Jax got into his car, I yelled. "Hey!" He looked at me. "Thanks." I said any smiled. He winked and got into his truck.

I knocked on the door and Morgan opened up. "Avalon!" She yelled and hugged me. "Hey."

I walked in and saw everyone looking at me. Zack stood up and started walking to me.

"You don't come near me, just leave me alone." I said to him. He took a step and said, "I'm so-" "No, no you're not. If you really were, you would've followed me and checked if I was alright."

Derek stood up and made his way to me. "Derek don't even think that now I'm mad at him, I'm not mad at you anymore, because I still am."

I walked upstairs and slammed the door behind me. I stripped down and took a shower. After my shower, I dried my hair and put on my glasses.

With my towel wrapped around my body, I walked out and everyone was sitting on my bed, except for Zack, Lily and Derek. "What do you guys want?"

I went into my closet and put on my black bikini, crop tee, and American flag shorts. "Avalon, what happened?" Jack asked.

I sat on the window sill and opened the window for fresh air. "You guys know, you just want to seem like you have sympathy for me. You all saw that kiss yesterday at froyo, and yes I saw it because I went to look for you guys when you didn't show up for the reservation. And I can't believe you guys left the mall without telling me, what if I didn't have Jax to drive me home."

"What happened last night though?" Logan asked. "Do you guys really wanna know?" They all nodded. "I caught Zack and Margo, doing stuff here." They all laughed at me. "What?"

"Avalon, Margo wouldn't do that!" Morgan said laughing. I sat looking out the window. I don't know but a tear started to shed. "Let's go guys." Logan said.

They got out of my room and shut it. I stood up locked the door. "Hey." I turned around to see Nolan. "How the hell did you get up here?" I asked.

"There's this weird fence thing on the side of your house." He said. "You heard?" I asked him. "Everything."
