I went up to my room and shut the door behind me. I put on my black bikini. I put on my water proof mascara.

I put on my teal Ron Jon Surf Shop shirt and white puka shell necklace that were in a little welcome basket that Michelle put together for me. I didn't bother putting on shorts over because the shirt covered my bottoms.

I put my phone, my book, my sketch pad, pencils, sunscreen, a towel, and a sweatshirt into my backpack. I swung it on my back.

I walked into Lily's room, "What bathing suit do you wanna wear?" I asked her opening her drawer.

"POLKA DOTS!" She yelled in my ear. I helped her put on her bathing suit. Everyone else was downstairs. Derek's girlfriend walked into the house.

"Hey, you must be Avalon! I'm Cat, but call me Cat. Derek's told me a lot about you." She said hugging me.

"Oh, hi!" I said hugging her back. "You're beautiful!" She said to me. "Well look at you!" I said. Zack then walked in. "Hey, Avalon." He said smiling at me. "Sup, Cat." He said.

"We all ready?" I yelled out. "Yup!" We all started to walk to the beach. Derek and Cat were leading the group.

Zack put his arm around me. It was quite weird for me, because I've only dated like one guy my entire life in 7th grade and I sort of like just met him.

When we got to the beach, I put my towel next to Cat's.

I went to the water, walked in then dove into a wave. A few minutes later I took Lily into the water and I held her hand. Everyone then followed us into the ocean.

About 45 minutes after, we all went out. Cat and Derek sat on the big blanket with everyone else. "Come on, Morgan." I grabbed the volleyball and her hand.

We rushed over to the volleyball court with the net. "What position are you on the court?" I asked her. "I'm main setter, but I'm back up middle hitter, how about you?" She asked me. "I'm 5'3, what do you think?" I asked her. "A libero!" She yelled out and laughed.

Morgan and I were just passing and setting the ball back and fourth. Cat then ran over. I put my hair in a pony tail. "Can I join?" Cat asked.

"Yup!" I said. Catching the ball.

"How about we do 2 versus 2?" Morgan asked. You two, verses the jocks over there." Morgan said pointing to Zack and Derek.

Cat and I nodded and highfived. We then laughed. Morgan then ran to them and pulled them up.

They then rushed over here. "PLAY, now!" Morgan said. Everyone rushed over to watch us play, but Jack and Eli stayed to watch our things.

We started to play, and Cat and I were kicking their butts. An hour later, Cat an I won beating the guys 4-1 sets.

"YES!" I yelled. I highfived Cat, I was all sweaty and there was sand stuck to me. I ran to the ocean while dropping the volleyball on the ground next to my towel. I got off all the sand. By the time I went out of the ocean it was around 12. "Zack, let's go buy everyone lunch." I said standing up.

Zack stood up and followed me. I took my wallet and we walked away. "Where's a good place I get lunch for about 12 people?" I asked him. "I know a place." He said. "Hop on my back." He bent down and I jumped up. I took my hair out of the ponytail.

He carried me around and stuff. "Zack, does Derek ever talk about me?" I asked. "Well sort of, like he talked about you coming here and stuff." He said.

"Was he like complaining? Like does he hate me or something?" I asked. "No, he just said how you moved in and what you looked like and stuff." He said to me.
